PRODUCT INFORMATION:
The Valen Convection Cooled Charger series boasts superior quality and reliability
with the ability to correctly charge and maintain mobility batteries ensuring
longevity. This series has an input voltage 110 - 240V allowing them to operate
universally. Thermal protection against overheating is also built in as well as
reverse polarity, output shorting and spark protection.

OPERATING INSTRUCTION:
1. Turn off the Power Chair or Mobility Scooter.
2. Ensure the output voltage of the charger is compatible to the voltage
of the batteries.
3. Connect the battery charger cannon plug to the charge port of the
Mobility Scooter or Power Chair. Ensure that the connector fits firmly
into the socket and locks into place.
4. Connect the AC power cord on the charger. Once the charger has
power to it, the orange LED indicator light will turn on.
5. When the charging starts, the orange and yellow LED indicator light
will turn on. Do not leave the scooter until the charging light turns on.
6. Along the side of the battery charger are a row of percentages with
the yellow LED light. Throughout the charging of the battery, the
yellow LED indicator light will turn on above the Battery Charging
Capacity.
7. Once the charger light goes green, above the 100%, this means that
the battery is fully charged. Please leave the charger connected when
the scooter isn’t in use. It’s not recommended to use the scooter
unless the charger light has gone green and been green for at least 2-3
hours.
8. This charger is a smart charger, it will not over charge your batteries.
For ultimate battery life, it’s suggested that you leave the charger
connected at all times when the scooter is not in use. The battery
charger will maintain the battery at 100% state of charge.

TROUBLE SHOOTING:
POWER LED (ORANGE) IS NOT ON:
Check whether the plug socket (AC) is connected and turned
on at the wall socket. If yes, and the indicator does not shine,
please return charger to supplier.
CHARGING LED (ORANGE & YELLOW) LIGHTS ARE NOT ON:
1. Check whether output connector of charger is correctly
connected to the mobility scooter.
2. If the green LED indicator light is on, then the batteries are
fully charged.
3. If neither orange, yellow or green LED indicator lights are
on, the charger is likely to be defective. Please return to
REGAL ELECTRO for further trouble shooting.
CHARGING LED INDICATOR (ORANGE & YELLOW) LIGHTS
HAVE NOT TURNED TO GREEN:
1. The battery is still charging,
2.After 24hrs, if the orange and yellow LED indicator lights still
haven’t gone green, then the batteries are defective and
should be returned to a service centre.
CHARGING LED INDICATOR (ORANGE) LIGHT TURNS TO
GREEN IMMEDIATELY:
1. Make sure the battery is fully charged.
2. If not, battery is likely to be defective. Please return battery
set to battery supplier.
