1 Einleitung
Diese Anleitung beschreibt Montage und Bedienung des ORTHO guide Set MT premium.
1.1 Verwendete Symbole
In dieser Anleitung oder an dem Gerät nden Sie Symbole mit folgender Bedeutung:
Gefahr
Es besteht unmittelbare Verletzungsgefahr. Begleitdokumente beachten!
Elektrische Spannung
Es besteht Gefahr durch elektrische Spannung.
Laser
Nicht in den Laserstrahl blicken.
Achtung
Bei Nichtbeachtung des Hinweises besteht die Gefahr der Beschädigung des Gerätes.
Hinweis
Gibt einen für die Bedienung nützlichen, die Handhabung erleichternden Hinweis.
2 Sicherheit
2.1 Bestimmungsgemäße Verwendung
Mit dem „ORTHO guide Set MT premium“ kann der Trimmer MT premium mit einem KFO-Trimmertisch
und einem Richtlaser erweitert werden.
2.2 Bestimmungswidrige Verwendung
Das Richtlicht darf nur in Kombination mit dem Trimmer und nur wenn an dem Trimmer wie in dieser An-
leitung beschrieben montiert, verwendet werden.
Es darf nicht demontiert und für andere Zwecke eingesetzt werden.
2.3 Umgebungsbedingungen für den sicheren Betrieb
Es gelten die Umgebungsbedingungen des Trimmers.
2.4 Gefahren- und Warnhinweise
2.4.1 Allgemeine Hinweise
►Wenn das Gerät nicht entsprechend der vorliegenden Bedienungsanleitung betrieben wird, ist der
vorgesehene Schutz nicht mehr gewährleistet.
►Vor Arbeiten an den elektrischen Teilen, Gerät vom Netz trennen.
►Beschädigte Geräte unverzüglich außer Betrieb nehmen. Netzstecker ziehen und gegen wieder
Einschalten sichern. Gerät zur Reparatur einschicken!

2.4.2 Spezische Hinweise
►Achtung! Laserstrahlung! Laser Klasse 1! Nicht direkt in den Strahl blicken! Nicht in Strahlen bli-
cken, die an spiegelnden Oberächen reektiert werden.
►Richtlicht nur im montierten Zustand benutzen.
2.5 Zugelassene Personen
Bedienung und Wartung des Gerätes darf nur von unterwiesenen Personen erfolgen.
Reparaturen, die nicht in dieser Benutzerinformation beschrieben sind, dürfen nur von einer Elektrofach-
kraft durchgeführt werden.

3 Produktbeschreibung
3.1 Allgemeine Beschreibung
Mit dem ORTHO guide Set MT premium können Sie den Modelltrimmer MT premium erweitern.
Der KFO Schleiftisch mit Schablone ermöglichen ein präzises trimmen der Modelle.
Mit Hilfe des Richtlichts kann das Modell exakt ausgerichtet werden.

4 Inbetriebnahme
4.1 Montage - KFO Schleiftisch
⇒Montierten Schleiftisch an Vorderkante nach oben vom Kugelkopf abziehen und abnehmen.
⇒Verstellgabel in die 90° Position drehen, der lange Schenkel zeigt nach oben (siehe auch Bedienungs-
anleitng des Trimmers).
⇒KFO Schleiftisch einsetzen und wieder auf Kugelkopf aufdrücken.
⇒Schablone aufsetzen.

spurenderSchablone.DiesehabenkeinenEinussaufdieFunktionsfähigkeit.

4.2 Montage - Richtlicht
⇒Netzstecker ziehen.
 FürdieMontagedesRichtlichtsbenötigenSiedenInbus-
schlüsseldesTrimmers.Dieserbendetsichaufderlinken
GeräteseitehinterderTür.
⇒Türverschlüsse ö󰀨nen.
⇒Trimmertür abnehmen und zur Seite legen.
⇒Inbusschlüssel aus Halterung nehmen.
⇒Abdeckleiste mit einem kleinen Schraubedreher abhebeln. Dazu
bendet sich ein kleiner Schlitz auf der Rückseite der Abdecklei-
ste.
⇒Mit einer Spitzzange oder kleinem Seiteschneider an der Ab-
deckleiste den Kunststo󰀨 an der vorgesehenen Stelle ausbre-
chen.
⇒Anschlusskabel (5, Fig. 1) in Anschlussstecker am Trimmer
einstecken.
 Ggf.denSteckermitHilfeeineskleinenSchraubendrehers
biszumeinrasteneindrücken.
⇒Abdeckleiste wieder aufsetzen. Dabei das Kabel durch den
zuvor erstellten Ausbruch führen.
⇒Richtlicht aufsetzen. Die Stege an Vorder- und Rückseite müs-
sen in die Schlitz am Gerät eingreifen.
Kabel nicht einklemmen!
⇒Klemmschraube (6, Fig. 1) auf der Rückseite des Richtlichts
nur leicht anziehen, da das Richtlicht noch ausgerichtet werden
muss.
⇒Netzstecker einstecken.
⇒Richtlicht an Sensortaste (4, Fig. 1) einschalten.
⇒Richtlicht durch verschieben rechts/links und drehen am schwar-
zen Einstellrad so ausrichten, dass der Laserstrahl mit der
Raphe-Median-Linie des KFO Schleiftischs übereinstimmt.
⇒Inbusschraube handfest anziehen.
Inbusschraube nicht überdrehen!
5 Bedienung
Die Handhabung des KFO Schleiftischs und des Richtlichts können Sie der beiliegenden Step-by-Step
Anleitung entnehmen.

de 5.1 Einschalten / Ausschalten
Das Richtlich kann eingeschaltet werden, sobald der Netzstecker des Trimmers eingesteckt ist.
Es wird über die Sensortaste (4, Fig. 1) ein- und ausgeschaltet.
Der Trimmer muss dafür nicht laufen.
6 Reinigung / Wartung
6.1 KFO Schleiftisch und Schablone
Den KFO Schleiftisch reinigen Sie wie den Standard Trimmer-Schleiftisch.
⇒Schablone abnehmen.
⇒Schleiftisch an Vorderkante nach oben vom Kugelkopf abziehen.
⇒Schleiftisch und Schablone ggf. mit Bürste unter ießendem Wasser reinigen.
Keine scharfkantigen Gegenstände oder scheuernde Reiniger verwenden.
Keine lösungsmittelhaltigen oder stark säurehaltigen Reiniger (z.B. Entkalker) verwenden.
6.2 Richtlicht
Das Gehäuse des Richtlichts nur feucht abwischen.
Keine scharfkantigen Gegenstände oder lösungsmittelhaltigen oder scheuernden Reiniger ver-
wenden.
7 Störungen beseitigen
Störungen Ursache Abhilfe
Richtlicht lässt sich
nicht einschalten.
• Netzstecker des Trimmers nicht
eingesteckt.
• Netzstecker einstecken.
Das Richtlicht leuch-
tet nicht, obwohl der

1 Introduction
These instructions describe the assembly and operation of the MT premium ORTHO guide set.
1.1 Symbols used
Symbols with the following meanings are used in these instructions or on the equipment:
Danger
Immediate danger of injury. Consult accompanying documents!

Danger due to electrical voltage.
Laser
Do not look into the laser beam.
Caution
Risk of damage to the equipment if the instruction is not followed.

Provides the operator with useful information that eases use.
2 Safety
2.1 Intended use
The MT premium ORTHO guide set can be used to extend the MT premium trimmer with an orthodontic
trimmer table and a laser guide.
2.2 Improper use
The guide light may only be used in combination with the trimmer and only when attached to the trimmer
as described in these instructions.
It must not be detached and used for other purposes.
2.3 Ambient conditions for safe operation
The ambient conditions for the trimmer shall apply.
2.4 Hazard and warning information
2.4.1 General information
►If the unit is not used in accordance with the supplied operating instructions, the intended safety
can no longer be guaranteed.
►Disconnect the unit from the mains power supply before carrying out work on the electrical parts.
►Defective equipment must be taken out of service immediately. Disconnect the power plug and
secure the equipment against further use. Send the equipment in for repair!
►Information on REACH and SVHC is available on our website at www.renfert.com, in the Support
area.
2.4.2 Specic information
►Caution! Laser beam! Class 1 laser! Do not look directly into the beam! Do not look into beams
that are reected on shiny surfaces.
►Only use the guide light when it is attached.
2.5 Authorized persons
Operation and maintenance of the equipment may only be performed by trained personnel.
Any repairs not described in these operating instructions may only be performed by a qualied electrician.

2.6 Disclaimer
Renfert GmbH shall be absolved from all claims for damages or warranty if:
► The product is employed for any purposes other than those specied in the operating instruc-
tions.
►The product is altered in any way other than those alterations described in the operating instruc-

3 Product description
3.1 General description
You can extend the MT premium model trimmer using the MT premium ORTHO guide set.
The orthodontic model table and template enable precise trimming of the models.
The model can be precisely aligned using the guide light.

4 Startup
4.1 Assembly – orthodontic model table
⇒Pull the attached model table upwards from the ball head at the front edge and remove it.
⇒Turn the adjustment fork to the 90° position with the long side facing upwards (see also the operating
instructions of the trimmer).
⇒Insert the orthodontic model table and press it onto the ball head again.
⇒Attach the template.
The black surface of the orthodontic model table shows milling marks caused by the template
after a short time. The marks do not aect the functionality of the unit.

4.2 Assembly – guide light
⇒Disconnect the power plug.
To mount the guide light you will need the trimmer Allen key.
This is located on the left side of the unit behind the door.
⇒Open the door locks.
⇒Remove the trimmer door and place it to one side.
⇒Remove the Allen key from the holder.
⇒Lift o󰀨 the cover strip with a small screwdriver. There is a small
slot on the back of the cover strip for this purpose.
⇒Use pointed pliers or small diagonal pliers to break open the
plastic at the intended location on the cover strip.
⇒Insert the connection cable (5, Fig. 1) in the connection point on
the trimmer.
If necessary, use a small screwdriver to press the connector
inwards until it clicks into place.
⇒Attach the cover strip again. In doing so, guide the cable through
the opening created previously.
⇒Attach the guide light. The ridges on the front and rear must
engage in the slot on the unit.
The cable should not be pinched!
⇒Tighten the clamping screw (6, Fig. 1) on the back of the guide
light only slightly, as the guide light still has to be aligned.
⇒Connect the power plug.
⇒Switch on the guide light at the sensor button (4, Fig. 1).
⇒Align the guide light by moving it to the right/left and turning the
black adjustment wheel so that the laser beam is aligned with
the median palatine raphe of the orthodontic model table.
⇒Tighten the Allen screw nger-tight.
Do not overtighten the Allen screw!

5 Operation
The handling of the orthodontic model table and the guide light can be found in the enclosed step-by-step
instructions.
There you will also nd a link to user videos.
5.1 Switching on / o󰀨
The guide light can be switched on as soon as the power plug of the trimmer is connected.
It is switched on and o󰀨 using the sensor button (4, Fig. 1).
The trimmer does not need to be running for this purpose.
6 Cleaning / Maintenance
6.1 Orthodontic model table and template
The orthodontic model table can be cleaned in the same way as the standard trimmer model table.
⇒Remove the template.
⇒Pull the model table upwards from the ball head at the front edge.
⇒Clean the model table and the template using a brush as appropriate under running water.
Do not use any objects with sharp edges or solvent-based / abrasive cleaning agents.
Never use cleaning agents containing solvents or strong acids (e.g. descaling agents).
6.2 Guide light
Only wipe the housing of the guide light with a damp cloth.
Do not use any objects with sharp edges or solvent-based / abrasive cleaning agents.
7 Troubleshooting
