DISPLAY EXPLANATION FOR:
RO-CRISTALLE
Every time device’s power cord is turned on, you will
see a display showing all indicators for 6 seconds.
This indicator stays turned on at all times. It means that
all functions of device are working properly and
correctly.
This indicator turns on when the time has reached to
preform maintenance. In case this indicator stays on
for longer period of time device will block and stop
functioning until maintenance is not completed. For
more information about maintenance schedule
please contact your local distributor.
This indicator will turn on in case any type of
malfunction occurs. In this moment device will stop
functioning and it is advised to contact AUTHORISED
SERVICE CENTER
-No feed water
-Leak
-Very low feed water pressure
-Bad quality of feed water
-Pump failure
-Electronics failure
In case of no feed water, it is not necessary to contact
your local AUTHORISED SERVICE CENTER. Device will
start again as soon as feed water becomes available,
we advise to close the device’s feed water valve so any
bigger dirt particles do not enter device.

ON/OFF indicator
This indicator will light while device is not being used
or while device not making pure water. As soon as
device starts purification process or conducts
membrane automatic flushing (every 6 hours), this
indicator will start blinking and remain like that untill
the tank is full.

In order for your device to preform perfectly it is
necessary to replace its consumables by following
periodicals (for all devices):
Cristalle is equipped with three (3) PreFilters in
following order:
-Push-In PolyPropylene 5 micron
-Push-In CTO or GAC (carbon pre-filter)
-Push-In PolyPropylene 1 micron
In order for your device to preform perfectly and to
avoid any malfunctions it is necessary to replace
consumables in periodicals stated by your local
distributor. In case these filters are left to preform
longer than stated by your local distributor, warranty
for whole device is automatically voided.
Cristalle is equipped with In-Line GAC (granular
activated carbon) PostFilter. In order for your device to
preform perfectly and to avoid any malfunctions as
well as hazard for human health (if post-filter used too
long) it is necessary to replace this consumable in
periodicals stated by your local distributor.
Cristalle is equipped with R.O. (reverse osmosis)
membrane. It is a main working part of device. Main
process of water purification is conducted by this
element. R.O. membrane is made to last longer period
of time, its life span greatly depends from feed water
quality. Due to changing water quality it is not possible
to determine this element’s exact usage period. Your
local AUTHORISED SERVICE PERSONNEL will conduct
tests during each maintenance and inform you when it
is needed to replace this element.
PREFILTERS:
POSTFILTER:
R.O. membrane:
Below, we provide approximate information on
replacing R.O. membrane element for different
device configurations:
approximately once every two (2) years from the
moment of installation or last such maintenance.
approximately
once every three to four (3-4) years from the moment
of installation or last such maintenance. Devices with
diaphragm pump replace this element every 3-4 years
due to higher and constant pressure on R.O.
membrane. Additionally, device preforms Auto-Flush
operations every 6 hours what prologues R.O.
membrane life span.
Device is equipped with self-regulating diaphragm
pump which needs to be checked periodically on
pump performance. This test is made once a year and
performed only by AUTHORISED SERVICE
PERSONNEL.
Tank must remain at all times pressurized. Tank
pressure is checked at every maintenance only by
AUTHORISED SERVICE PERSONNEL. Once (1) per
year it is necessary to clean the tank. This work is
preformed only by AUTHORISED SERVICE
PERSONNEL.
All small parts used in device are being checked
during the maintenance. These checks are preformed
only by AUTHORISED SERVICE PERSONNEL. In case
replacement of any part is needed, you will be
informed upon. During warranty period small parts
are subject to free of charge replacement which is
preformed only by AUTHORISED SERVICE
PERSONNEL.

- Reverse Osmosis membrane. Main
filtration unit used to purify water. Works on principle
of reverse osmosis.
- Device which consists of several pre-
filters, R.O. membrane, post-filter, tank and faucet.
Configuration may vary from type of device.
- Every R.O. device consists of three (3) pre-
filters which are used to prepare water for main
purification, such prepared water is delivered to R.O.
membrane to start the purification process. Pre-filters
inside device have following specifications:
- 1st PreFilter: 5 micron PolyPropylene
- 2nd PreFilter: GAC (Granular Activated Carbon) or
CTO (Solid Carbon Block)
-3rd PreFilter: 1 micron PolyPropylene
- material used to manufacture fist
and third PreFilter.
- Filter which is placed after R.O.
membrane. Water from the tank flows through post-
filter just before it is released through faucet.
- Stainless steel or plastic tank which is used to
storage purified water. These tanks exist in several
sizes: 2.0G (7.56L), 2.2G (8.31L), 2.8G (10.58L), 3.2G
(12.09L), 3.8G (13,36L) (plastic tank), 4.0G (15.12L)
(plastic tank), 10G (37,80L), 20G (75,60L)
- Pump which is
installed before R.O. membrane. Its purpose is to
higher the pressure and amount of water delivered to
R.O. membrane. Pump helps to prolonge R.O.
membrane life span.
- Electrical mechanism
installed inside device which function is to stop the
device’s work when the tank is full.
- Electrical mechanism which is
installed before water enters PreFilters which function
is to detect presence of water. In case of low pressure
or lack of feed water device stops to function until
water returns or pressure has risen again.
- Electrical mechanism used to stop water
flow. Each R.O. device with pump has 2 solenoids. First
is used to stop the water entering device, second for
membrane Auto-Flushing.
- Automatic process on devices with
pump, occurring every 6 hours. Auto-Flush raises the
pressure in R.O. membrane housing for 30 seconds.
R.O. membrane is being cleaned this way. This
function prolongs R.O. membrane life span.
- Small electrical sensor placed at the
bottom of device which reacts to water presence by
stopping the device’s operation.
- This is first filter which comes in contact
with water. Its main function is not to allow particles
larger than 5 microns to pass through it. These
particles can be: dirt, sand, rust, microscopic particles
several times smaller than grain of sand.
- This filter only function is to reduce
elements that cause water to taste and smell
unpleasantly, including the taste and odor of chlorine
which is also very dangerous for R.O. membrane and
if present in larger amounts can damage R.O.
membrane in very short period of time.
- This filter is placed after 2nd PreFilter
and its function is not to allow particles larger than 1
micron to pass through it. Usually these are all smaller
particles which can influence with R.O. membrane life
span.
- Its average removal percentage
are as follows:
Auto-Flush
Anti-Leak
