Operating Instructions
This appliance is intended for household use only.
This appliance is designed for safety and performance. This appliance has a polarized plug (one
blade is wider than the other). As a safety feature, this plug will fit in a polarized outlet only one
way. If the plug does not fit fully in the outlet, reverse the plug. If it still does not fit, contact a
qualified electrician. Do not attempt to defeat this safety feature. For U.S. residents only: In the
event of immersion, the protective device will not allow the appliance to operate. Periodically
check the safety plug to verify that it is in proper working order. Simply place the plug into the
outlet and press the TEST button. The appliance should immediately stop. To resume operating
the hot air styler, press the RESET button. In the event the TEST button does not work properly,
return the appliance to the manufacturer.

STYLING TIPS
• Attach tha smallest barrel on the handle.
• Always towel-dry hair to remove excess water and smooth it with a comb or brush to untangle.
Styling hair will be faster if it is slightly damp, not wet.
• Plug the appliance into an electrical outlet. Turn the appliance to the selected setting. Use
the HIGH setting on thick, hard-to-curl hair and the LOW setting on fine, thin hair. Do not
concentrate the airflow on any one area for an extended period of time.
FOR CURLS
• Attach the smaller barrel onto the handle.
• Your Revlon®Hot Air Styler is a hair dryer and styling brush in one appliance. To dry and style
hair in one easy step, place the brush at the roots near the scalp and run the brush to the ends.
Once the brush is near the ends, roll up close to the scalp and leave for a few seconds. Release
curls by placing the finger of one hand on the Cool Tip and pressing the Curl Release Button
with the other hand. Be sure to let the Cool Tip rotate while you press the button.

Press the Curl Release Button for unwinding hair from the barrel. Repeat until hair is dry and
styled.
• The thermal barrel retains heat for faster styling. To prevent tangling, never roll hair more than
twice around the barrel. Should tangling occur, disconnect unit and carefully untangle hair from
brush.
FOR BLOWOUT
• Attach the larger barrel onto the handle.
• Place barrel under the hair close to the roots and run brush toward the ends. Repeat process
until desired look is achieved.
• Turn the appliance off when styling is complete. Allow the unit to cool completely before
storing.
• The barrel retains heat for styling and drying hair from the roots, just the way stylists
recommend.
CHANGING THE BARRELS
To change the barrels, ensure unit is off. Pull the brush attachment apart from the handle. (Figure
A) To reattach the brush, simply align it with the handle and insert until a “click” is heard.
(Figure B).
CLEANING INSTRUCTIONS
Ensure the unit is unplugged before cleaning. Dust and lint can be removed from air intake
openings with a small brush or vacuum cleaner brush attachment. DO NOT allow moisture or
additional debris to enter the unit while cleaning.
USER MAINTENANCE INSTRUCTIONS
This appliance is equipped with a thermostat that may cycle OFF if the temperature exceeds
comfort level due to the partially blocked air inlet or air outlet openings. In the event that the
appliance slows down during use, turn off the switches and allow the appliance to cool down,
at which time the thermostat will automatically reset. During use, do not block openings. When
using this appliance near water (e.g., bathrooms), the use of an electrical outlet protected by a
Ground Fault Circuit Interrupter is recommended.
Maintenance
Your appliance is virtually maintenance-free. No lubrication is needed. Keep all vents and
openings clean and free of dust, dirt, and hair spray. If cleaning becomes necessary, unplug the
appliance from the power source and wipe the exterior with a damp cloth. If the cord becomes
twisted, untwist prior to use.
WARNING: If any malfunction occurs, do not attempt to repair it. This appliance has no user-
serviceable parts.
STORAGE
Unplug appliance when not in use.
Allow appliance to cool and store out of reach of children in a safe, dry location. Never wrap
the cord around the appliance since this will cause the cord to wear prematurely and break.
Handle cord carefully for longer life and avoid jerking, twisting or straining, especially at plug
connections.

PARA EL ESTILAZADO

Use la posición ALTA para cabello grueso, difícil de rizar y la posición BAJA para cabello fino
y delgado. No concentre el flujo de aire sobre una misma área durante un período de tiempo

PARA EL RIZADO
• Adjunte el barril mas grande sobre mango.
• Su modelador de aire caliente de Revlon®es un secador de cabello y un cepillo modelador en
un solo artefacto. Para secar y modelar el cabello en un solo paso sencillo, coloque el cepillo
en las raíces cerca del cuero cabelludo y cepille hacia las puntas. Cuando el cepillo está cerca
de las puntas, enróllelo casi hasta el cuero cabelludo y déjelo unos segundos. Suelte los rizos
colocando el dedo de una mano en la punta fría y presionando el Botón de Liberación con la
otra mano. Deje rotar la punta fría mientras presiona el botón.

Presione el Botón de Liberación para desenrollar el cabello del tambor. Repita hasta que el cabello
esté seco y modelado.
• El tambor térmico mantiene el calor para un modelado más rápido. Para evitar que se enrede
el cabello, nunca enrolle el cabello más de dos vueltas alrededor del tambor. Si el cabello se
enreda, desconecte la unidad y desenrede el cabello del cepillo cuidadosamente.
PARA EL SECADO
• Posicionar el tambor por debajo del cabello o cerca de la raiz y cepillando hacia las puntas.
Repita este proceso hasta que el estilo deseado es adquirido.

The National Electrical Code now requires GFCIs in the bathroom, garage and outdoor outlets of all new homes. WHY DO YOU NEED A GFCI?
Electricity and water don’t mix. If your hair dryer falls in water while it’s plugged in, the electric shock can kill you... even if the switch is “off.”
A regular fuse or circuit breaker won’t protect you under these circumstances. A GFCI offers you far greater protection.
*GFCI (Ground Fault Circuit Interrupter) is a sensitive device which reacts immediately to a small electric current leak by stopping the electricity ow.
