Operating Instructions
This appliance is intended for household use only.
Revlon®anti-static IONIC®dryers are designed for safety and performance. This appliance
has a polarized plug (one blade is wider than the other). As a safety feature, this plug will
fit in a polarized outlet only one way. If the plug does not fit fully in the outlet, reverse the
plug. If it still does not fit, contact a qualified electrician. DO NOT attempt to defeat this
safety feature. For U.S. residents only: In the event of immersion, the protective device
will not allow the appliance to operate. Periodically check the safety plug to verify that it is
in proper working order. Simply place the plug into the outlet and press the TEST button.
The appliance should immediately stop. To resume operating the appliance, press the
RESET button. In the event the TEST button does not work properly, return the appliance
to the manufacturer.
IONIC®CUSTOM CONDITIONING TECHNOLOGY
A built-in generator with custom settings releases negative ions that help maintain a
neutral charge on the hair’s surface, leaving it looking conditioned and smooth while
helping reduce frizz and static for healthy, shiny hair. The Ion Switch must be in the “On”
position to use the ionic feature.

Helps to boost shine, reduces frizz and heat damage.
TURBO BOOST LONG-LIFE HIGH ENDURANCE MOTOR
For faster drying and longer motor life.
STYLING TIPS
• Towel-dry hair to remove excess water and run a wide-tooth comb through hair to
detangle.
• Set the dryer at the highest heat and speed settings and circulate the airflow through
your hair. DO NOT concentrate airflow on any one area for an extended period of time.
• Turn the Ion Switch to the ON position to get silky-smooth results, or to the OFF
position for high volume blowouts. (See Figure A)
• Press the red Turbo Heat Button to boost drying power.
• When hair is almost dry, lower heat and speed to style.
• Press the blue Cold Shot Button to set the style with cold air once you’ve achieved the
desired style.
• Position the rocker switch to its central setting for normal drying.
SMOOTHING CONCENTRATOR
By concentrating the airflow, individual sections of the hair can be styled at a time. To
attach, simply press concentrator into the air outlet until it snaps into place. To remove,
allow the dryer and attachment to cool, then gently pull attachment away from dryer.
ATTACHING STYLING PIK
To attach the 2-in-1 Styling Pik, first align arrow with the “unlocked” icon on the dryer
nozzle, then twist the attachment’s Rotating Locking Ring to align with the “locked” icon.
The 2-in-1 Styling Pik is now ready for use. To remove, twist the attachment’s Rotating
Locking Ring to align with the “unlocked” icon and pull attachment off the dryer nozzle.

UNIQUE 2-IN-1 STYLING PIK
Versatile root-boosting Pik enhances volume and smooths frizzy flyaways.
• For extra lift and volume, attach the Pik to the dryer nozzle.
• Select the heat and speed setting best suited for your hair type.
• Section the hair and place the Pik close to the roots, under the sectioned hair.
• Slightly flick your wrist to lift up the sectioned hair. Press the Cold Shot Button to lock in
volume.
• For a smooth and sleek finish, run the Pik Attachment over the hair strand. To lock
in a sleek look with long-lasting results, press the Cold Shot Button and run the Pik
Attachment over the hair.
REMOVABLE END CAP
Allows for easier cleaning and extended motor life.
• To remove the end cap, make sure unit is unplugged, then turn the end cap
counterclockwise and pull it away from the dryer.
• Dust off the end cap.
• The end cap may be washed, but must be completely dry before returning it to the
dryer.
• To replace the end cap, align the tabs of the end cap with the slots on the back of the
dryer. Push the end cap onto the dryer and turn it clockwise to lock it in place.
USER MAINTENANCE INSTRUCTIONS
This appliance is equipped with a thermostat that may cycle OFF or cause the heaters
to turn off if the temperature exceeds comfort level due to partially blocked air inlet or
outlet openings. In the event that the appliance stops or releases only cool air during use,
turn off the switches and allow the appliance to cool down, at which time the thermostat
will automatically reset. During use, DO NOT block the air openings. When using this
appliance near water (e.g. bathrooms), the use of an electrical outlet protected by a Ground
Fault Circuit Interrupter is recommended.
Maintenance
Your appliance is virtually maintenance-free. No lubrication is needed. Keep heated
surfaces clean and free of dust, dirt, and hair spray. If cleaning becomes necessary, unplug
the appliance from the power source and wipe the exterior with a damp cloth. If the cord
becomes twisted, untwist prior to use.
Cleaning Instructions
Ensure unit is off. Dust and lint can be removed from air intake openings with a small
brush or vacuum cleaner brush attachment. DO NOT allow moisture or additional debris
to enter the unit while cleaning.
WARNING: If any malfunction occurs, do not attempt to repair it. This appliance has no
user-serviceable parts.
STORAGE
Unplug appliance when not in use.
Allow appliance to cool and store out of reach of children in a safe, dry location. Never
wrap the cord around the appliance because this will cause the cord to wear prematurely
and break. Handle cord carefully for longer life and avoid jerking, bending sharply,
twisting, or straining cord, especially at plug connections.

CONSEJOS PARA EL ESTILIZADO
• Seque el cabello con una toalla para eliminar el exceso de agua y utilize un peine de
dientes anchos para desenredar el cabello.
• Coloque el secador en la posición mas alta de calor y velocidad, y circule el flujo de aire
por su cabello. NO concentre el flujo de aire sobre una misma área durante un período
de tiempo prolongado.
• Posicione el ajustador de iones en la posición ON para obtener resultados suaves como
la seda, o en la posición OFF para los escapes de alto volumen. (Ver Figura A)
• Presione el botón rojo del Turbo calor para impulsar el secado de poder.
• Cuando el cabello está casi seco, reduzca el calor y la velocidad y comience a modelar el
cabello como desee.
• Presione el botón azul de aire frío para fijar el peinado una vez que haya alcanzado el
estilo deseado.
• Colóque el botón basculante en la posición central para un secado normal.
CONCENTRADOR ALISADOR
Al concentrar el flujo de aire, las secciones individuales del cabello pueden ser estiladas a
la vez. Para conectar el concentrador, simplemente colóquelo a presión en la entrada de
aire. Para quitarlo, deje que se enfríen el secador y el accesorio, y luego tire para separarlo
del secador.
COMO COLOCAR EL ESTILIZADOR PIK
Para colocar el Pik, primerament se alinea la flecha en el pik con el icono de “desbloqueado”
en la boquilla de la secadora. Gire el anillo alineando con el icon de “bloqueo”. El Pik
Estilizador 2-en-1 está listo para su uso. Para quitar, gire el anillo del pik hacia el icono de
“desbloqueo”. (Ver Figura B)
PIK ESTILIZADOR ÚNICO 2-EN-1
El Pik versátil impulsa y aumenta volumen en la raíz suavizando el cabello encrespado.

TAPA POSTERIOR REMOVIBLE

• Para quitar la tapa, asegúrese que la unidad esta desconectada, luego gire la tapa hacia
la izquierda y jale hacia fuera del secador.
• Sacuda el polvo de la tapa posterior removible.
• La tapa posterior removible podrá ser lavada pero tendrá que ser secada
completamente antes de volver a incrustar en el secador.
• Para re-emplazar la tapa posterior removible, alinee las lengüetillas de la tapa posterior
removible con las aberturas de la parte posterior del secador. Presione la tapa posterior
removible hacia dentro del secador girando hacia la derecha hasta que ensamble en su
lugar.
INSTRUCCIONES DE MANTENIMIENTO PARA EL

Este artefacto está equipado con un termostato que lo apagará si la temperatura excede el
nivel tolerable debido a un bloqueo parcial en las aberturas de entrada o salida de aire. En
caso de que el artefacto se detenga durante el uso, apague los interruptores y déjelo enfriar

Mantenimiento

CAUTION
•NEVER wrap the power cord around the appliance.
Any pulling, twisting, severe folding or bending can
damage the cord, especially at the point of entry into
the unit, which may rupture the cord and can cause

STORAGE
• Appliance should be disconnected and allowed to

storage, cord should remain loose with no tight
bends or folds, and appliance should be placed in
a secure, dry location out of reach of children. For

Operating Instructions.

unplug it and CLEAN THE LINT FILTER while waiting 5 minutes for
the dryer to cool down. Then press the red ”reset” button on the ALCI
safety plug until it clicks. Your dryer should resume operation.
