WT2 Exciter Plate Repair Instructions
Like all TSplus modules, the WT2 workpiece pallets are constructed from
modular components, which allow for effortless assembly, repair, or replace-
ment. One of the main components to all workpiece pallets are wear strips.
As pallet wear strips start to show signs of wear, most users simply replace
them. Exciters plates, which are part of the wearstrip and are integral in
sensing the location of a pallet, also can wear out. For those users that
would like to repair worn vertical exciter plates, replacement exciter plates
and hammer head screws are now available. To assist in replacing exciter
plates, the following 5 page instruction guide has been created. For further

REPAIR INSTRUCTIONS
Repairing damping plate (rectangular exciter) on WT2 work piece pallet
frame module (qty 4-per pellet).
Check the frame module for wear or any damages before installing new
damping plate (rectangular exciter).
If the frame module is worn or damaged beyond repair, replace it.
PARTS REQUIRED PER PALLET
4- DAMPING PLATE 3842174347
8- HAMMER DRIVE SCREW R980024228
RECOMMENDED TOOLS
1- Long Needle Nose Pliers
1- Utility Knife
1- Pin Punch (size 2 or 1/16)
1- Ball Pein Hammer (4 or 8oz)
1- Drill (electric or cordless)
1- Drill Bit (1 millimeter or .0394)

Step 1
Step 2
Using utility knife remove
excess debris.
Place the damping plate on the
frame module. (Secure it with
tape if needed)

Drill two pilot holes 2-3
millimeters deep using drill
and 1 millimeter drill bit.
Insert new hammer drive
screw into each predrilled
hole using long needle nose
pliers and ball pein
hammer.

Finish inserting the hammer
drive screws using pin punch
and ball

Check and make sure the
damping plate is secured
firmly before placing pallet
on conveyor transport
system.
