Operation Instruction:
•To operate the keypad, begin entering your PIN or settings command to bring the keypad out of standby.
•During keypad entry, a gap of 6 seconds between keypad inputs will cause it to ignore the command.
•If there is no keypad entry for 20 seconds, the keypad will enter standby mode.
oRe-start the command from the beginning.
•When entering commands followed by “✱”or “#”, an incorrect entry will cause the keypad to exit programming.
•If an incorrect command is entered, the red LED indicator will flash 5 times.
1. Pairing your keypad to your motor
Factory default PIN for 1st channel: 1 1 1 1 #
Factory default PIN for 2nd channel: 2 2 2 2 #
a. Locate the ‘LEARN’ button your gate motor control board. Press and hold for 1 second, or until the
‘LEARN’ LED is lit.
b. Enter the factory default PIN followed by #. (ie:1 1 1 1 # for channel 1)
c. A green LED will appear in the middle indicator above the keypad.
d. Once the green LED goes off, repeat the PIN entry again. (ie: 1 1 1 1 # for channel 1)
e. The ‘LEARN’ LED on your control board should flash 2 – 3 times, indicating the keypad has been paired.
f. You can now use the default PIN to activate your motor.
Repeat the process for channel 2 if you wish to pair a 2nd motor
g. Remember to use default PIN 2 2 2 2 # for channel 2.
2. Entering programming mode
Factory default PIN for programming –0 0 0 0
Programming mode allows the operator to change codes and settings to the keypad.
To enter programming mode, enter the 4-digit PIN and then press the ✱key.
0 0 0 0 ✱One long beep will follow to confirm that the code has been entered correctly.
The blue LED will come on while in the programming mode.
3. How to change programming pin code.
For security reasons, you can change the programming PIN to be one of your own to prevent any other user from
accessing the keypad settings.
Follow the below steps to change the programming PIN:
a. Enter programming mode following the instructions detailed in step 2.
- One long beep will sound to confirm.
b. Press digits 6 9 and #to change the programming PIN.
- One short beep will sound to confirm.
c. Key in your new 4-digit programming PIN, followed by #key.
- One long beep and one short beep follow to confirm.
d. Your new programming PIN will now be set.

4. How to program a new PIN for each channel.
Factory default PIN for 1st channel: 1111 - Will accept up to 8 individual PIN.
Factory default PIN for 2nd channel: 2222 - Will accept up to 3 individual PIN.
The same PIN cannot be used on both channels. The red LED will flash if a PIN has already been used.
*If all PIN spaces are filled on a channel, the red LED will flash 5 times when a new PIN is programmed.
To program a PIN
a. Enter programming mode following the instructions detailed in step 2.
- One long beep will sound to confirm.
b. Key in the 2 digits channel number you would like to program followed by #
- (0 1 # for 1st channel; 0 2 # for 2nd channel)
c. Key in the new 4-digit PIN that you wish to use for your selected channel, then press the #key.
- One long beep and one short beep will sound to confirm the change.
d. The keypad will exit programming mode when complete.
Example on programming 1st channel’s PIN. Using “2015” as an example.
1. Enter programming mode using master PIN - 0 0 0 0
✱ (or custom master code if one has been set).
2. Choose the 1st channel by entering the following: 0 1 #
3. After the beep, enter the new PIN 2 0 1 5 #
4. The code for the 1st channel will now be set to “2015”.
5. Enter 2 0 1 5 # to operate the gate.
5. How to enable/disable the keypad sound
Each press on the keypad will have a beep sound.
The keypad can be set to be silent if preferred. In programming mode, the keypad will still beep.
Factory default setting is for the keypad beep to be ON.
*Please note –When silent, a missed keypad entry will be hard to identify, resulting in an incorrect command.
Turning the keypad tone OFF -
a. Enter programming mode following the instructions detailed in step 2.
-One long beep will sound to confirm.
b. Press 3 6 and then the # key.
-One long beep and one short beep will sound to confirm.
c. The keypad will exit programming mode when complete.
6. How to enable/disable the keypad backlight
The backlight on the keypad can be enabled or disabled following the steps below.
Turning off the backlight can help prolong battery life.
Factory default setting is for the keypad to be ON.
Turning the keypad backlight OFF -
a. Enter programming mode following the instructions detailed in step 2.
-One long beep will sound to confirm.
b. Press 3 9 end up with #.
-One long beep and one short beep follow to confirm.
7. How to check which channel a pin code belongs to
You can find which channel the pin code belongs to as follows:
a. Enter programming mode following the instructions detailed in step 2.
-One long beep will sound to confirm.
b. Input the numbers 8 6 and then press the # key.
-One long beep and one short beep will sound to confirm.
c. Enter the PIN for the channel you want check and then press the #key.
-The keypad will sound a long beep either once or twice, to indicate the channel being used.
d. The keypad will exit programming mode when complete.

8. Battery test
The voltage level of the battery can be tested as follows：
a. Enter programming mode following the instructions detailed in step 2.
-One long beep will sound to confirm.
b. Input the numbers 8 9 and then press the # key.
Battery is OK = a long beep will sound.
Battery is low = a short beep will sound followed by a red warning LED flashing
c. The keypad will exit programming mode when complete.
9. Deleting a forgotten PIN
If you forget a pin code that has been programmed to a channel or need to change the code for security reasons
you can enter programming mode to clear all the programmed pin codes following the instructions below:
a. Enter programming mode following the instructions detailed in step 2.
-One long beep will sound to confirm.
b. Press 0 0 and then press the # key.
-One long beep and one short beep will sound to confirm.
c. All codes will now be cleared and reset to factory default.
d. The keypad will exit programming mode when complete.
You can program new codes to each channel by following the instructions listed under step 4.
10. Anti-vandal alarm
The keypad is fitted with a security screw to make disassembly of the keypad more difficult.
When the keypad is disassembled, the anti-vandal circuit is disconnected, causing the keypad to beep
continuously until reassembled.
11. PIN disguising.
When in view of an unauthorised person, the PIN entry can be disguised.
Any digits (0-9) entered BEFORE your PIN will be ignored. Only the final 4 digits used before pressing # will be
recognised.
This allows you to disguise your PIN when in public view or accompanying someone who is not authorised to
have access to the secure PIN.
12. Security lock
For security purposes the keypad will lock temporarily after 3 incorrect PIN entries.
The keypad will lock for 2 minutes indicated by 3 beeps and a red LED warning light turning on.
After 2 minutes the keypad will beep once and return to standby, and the red LED warning light will turn off.
This will indicate that the keypad is unlocked and ready for a PIN to be entered again.
13. Reset to factory default settings（This involves disassembling the keypad)
If you forget the master PIN, you can use the below steps to reset the keypad back to factory default settings.
a. Disassemble the keypad. The anti-vandal alarm will sound.
b. Press the reset button on the board for 5 seconds.
c. 8 beeps will sound to indicate that the process is finished, and the keypad has been reset.

Factory default pin code for 1st channel: 1 1 1 1
Factory default pin code for 2nd channel: 2 2 2 2
