3.It is recommended to carry out charging every day, to charge after electric quantity of battery exhausts is
prohibited strictly.
4.Inside the battery box of this scooter there is a safety power source, when battery box is taken out, both jacks in
lower end (namely positive pole + and negative pole - of battery) can't be touched by hand (particularly damp hands)
at the same time, and also be prohibited to touch metal body (like key, etc.) or else unlimited short-circuit current
produced will cause an accident and burn of human body. Please give a great attention to the above.

ŸDon't carry packages or passengers that will interfere with your visibility or control of the scooter. Don't use items
that may restrict your hearing.
ŸMaintain a comfortable stopping distance from all other riders, vehicles and objects. Safe braking distance and
forces are subject to the prevailing weather conditions.
Wet Weather
In wet weather you need to take extra care.
Brake earlier, you will take a longer distance to stop.
Decrease your riding speed, avoid sudden braking, and take corners with additional caution.
Be more visible on the road.
Wear reflective clothing and use safety lights.
Potholes and slippery surfaces such as line markings and train tracks all become more hazardous when wet.

Check Before Driving
Please do a check before driving in order to ensure your safety of driving.
ŸOpen power lock, check whether all indication of scooter head is normal, brake power cut is effective?
ŸWhether tyre pressure is normal?(Short inflation will influence running speed or continual mileage.)
ŸWhether nut of front and rear wheel is locked
ŸWhere electric energy is enough?
ŸWhether braking system is adjusted suitably and reliably?
ŸWhether handgrip and saddle is adjusted well and tightened?

controlled suitably.
In order to ensure the life of battery, the users with enough conditions should keep charging as soon as possible
anytime after use to make the battery keeping in full status. You have to charge timely when indication of electric
quantity is only at a red light.
ADJUSTMENT OF PARTS
Adjustment of Steering Wheel
ŸInserted depth of vertical tube of wheel should be not lower than minimum depth (red safety mark); safety mark
must be inserted into below hexagonal nut. (See fig. 1)
ŸLoosen the clamping screw of saddle and put into saddle tube, tighten the screw suitably, and then insert saddle
tube into vertical tube of frame; put your both legs on the saddle to adjust the position of saddle tightly in order to
ensure you can drive comfortably. (See fig. 2)

socket to start chargng.
ŸAfter chargng s finshed, first pull out the power nput plug (230V) and then pull out the output plug.
Duraton of Chargng
ŸWhen the nput and output termnal are connected, the red ndcaton lght of the charger wll be turned on, showng
that the power s beng connected.
ŸWhen the battery s charged for the first tme, 8-10 hours should be spent for chargng. When the green ndcaton
lght of the charger s turned on, showng that the battery s bascally full and t wll swtch to trckle charge mode to
ensure that over-chargng wll not occur. It takes 2-8 hours for normal chargng.
ŸThs charger has the protecton devce for over-chargng. Long-tme chargng should not be more than 24 hours
wthout affectng the lfe tme of the battery.
Matters Need Attenton for Chargng

ABOUT RIDING
1.Power swtch. Pushng for short tme the bke s turned on, pushng for long tme the bke s turned off.
2.Adjusts the amount of pedelec assstans. Low s slow, Hge s fast speed. Can be changed by pushng the button
for short tme.
3.ndcator of battery. If all four leds are on the battery s fully charged. f only one led s on the battery needs to be
charged.
Once you have completed the ntal charge you are ready to rde. You must be aware of all local laws and ordnances
that govern and/or restrct the use of electrc bcycle. The laws and ordnances vary greatly from muncpalty to
muncpalty. It s your responsblty to know and abde by your local restrctons.
To rde, turn the power swtch lock to the “on” poston. The power swtch s located on the front bottom of the seat. The
battery gauge and the power ndcator located at the panel wll llumnate when the power s on.
Hold onto the handlebars wth both hands. Assume a well-balanced poston on the scooter and push off wth your
foot. Your rght hand wll control the accelerator. Twst the accelerator slowly to avod a sudden rush of speed forward.
MT8
Controller Dashboard Shfter

17
The speed of the bke wll ncrease as you twst the accelerator more. Release the accelerator and apply the brakes
to stop your bke. You wll control the speed of the bke by usng both the accelerator and the brakes. When the
brake handle s squeezed t cuts power to the accelerator.
Used for changng gears, n need, accordng to the envronment.
Matters Need Attenton Durng Journey
ŸFor economc use of battery and motor, please use your feet to assst drvng when the bke s started or clmbng,
prolongng the lfe tme effectvely.
ŸWhen the bke s started just now, the bke should be accelerated slowly to avod wastng power durng
nstantaneous speed-up or damagng electrcal parts. It s better to drve wth assstance of feet.
ŸOn the precondton of safety, he should try hs best not to brake or start too much n order to save power.
ŸThe controller of the bke has the functon of over-load protecton. If t s over-loaded, the power wll be cut
automatcally, when everythng goes back to normal, the power wll be connected automatcally.
ŸDurng drvng, t should be avoded that holdng the speed-adjustng handle after brakng, to prevent damagng
the machne part or motor by over-load (stuck rotaton) of electrcal motor.
ŸThe maxmum carryng capacty s 110kg, t s better to rde under the rated carryng capacty 110kg (ncludng the
drver). Do not drve overspeed.
Matters Need Attenton for Parkng
ŸWhen you get off the bke and push t forward, the power swtch should be shut off to avod unntentonal turnng
on the handle and the accdent can be avoded by sudden start-up of the bke.
ŸIt s suggested that the bke should be parked ndoor or wthn carport. Don’t forget to shut off power and take off
the key.
ABOUT RIDING MT8

18
MAINTENCE AND SERVICE
ŸIn publc places, the bke should be parked n the regulated spot accordng to traffic regulatons. Don’t forget to shut
off power and take off the key.
MAINTENANCE AND SERVICE
For the safety of drvng, please keep your bke n optmal condton at the same tme and carry out perodcal
mantenance and washng.
Items for Perodcal Mantenance and Self-checkng
ŸCheck whether the nuts of fore wheel and back wheel are tght or not. Check whether the fore fork and the bke
frame work well wth devaton.
ŸCheck whether the groove pattern of cover tyre s worn or splts and f ar pressure of fore tyre and back tyre s
normal or not.
ŸCheck whether the gear system s workng smoothly or not.
ŸCheck whether the horn and back reflector are ntact or not.
ŸCheck whether the brakng thread s workng under lubrcaton and there s no clampng stagnaton.
ŸIf the bke has not been used for long, please notce that chargng should be executed perodcally (normally, one
tme n a month to mantan lfe tme of the battery)
ŸIn the wnter, place the battery at a warm place.
Explanaton on Mantenance and Washng
Do not wash wth hgh pressure water column to avod accdents caused by wet nner electrcal parts.
The drt on pant surface or the surface of plastc parts should be cleaned wth cloth, neutral agent should be used, and
then clean wth dry cloth.
Please use lubrcaton ol to mantan metal parts of the bke.
