Congratulations on the purchase of your
new face shield. You have chosen a high-
quality product. The operating instructions
are part of this product. They contain
important information about safety, usage
and disposal. Before using the product,
please familiarize yourself with all operating
and safety instructions. Use the product only
as described and for the range of
applications specified. Please also pass
these operating instructions on to any future
owner.
No spare parts.
The face shield is designed for face and
eye protection against flying debris while
chopping wood and weed trimming. It is
lightweight and comfortable to wear. The
materials used in this product do not
contain any substances known to cause
allergic reactions. However it may be
possible for certain susceptible individuals
to develop allergies to the materials used.
WARNING: The mesh visor is intended for
face protection against moderate impact
hazards but is not unbreakable. This visor
does not have any filtering action and does
not protect against molten metal splash, hot
solids, electrical hazards, infrared and ultra
violet radiation.
WARNING: Mesh visors marked S should
not be used when there is a foreseeable
risk of any hard or sharp flying particles.
The face shield is designed to cover the ears
to help reduce exposure to hazardous levels
of noise and other loud sounds, in
accordance with EN352-1:2002. This product
may be adversely affected by certain
chemical substances. Further information
should be sought from the manufacturer.

The face shield is classed as Personal
Protective Equipment (PPE) by the European
PPE new regulation (EU) 2016/425 and has
been shown to comply with this regulation
through the Harmonized European Standard
EN1731:2006: Mesh eye and face protectors.
Warning : These ear-muffs are of « small size
range » or « large size range »(as appropriate).
Ear-muffs complying with EN 352-1 are of «
medium size range » or « small size range » or
« large size range ». « Medium size range » ear-
muffs will fit the majority of wearers. « Small
size range » or « large size range » ear-muffs
are designed to fit wearers for whom «
medium size range » ear-muffs are not
suitable.

Ear-Muffs, and in particular cushions, may
deteriorate with use and should be examined at
frequent intervals for cracking and leakage, for
example.
WARNING: If symbols S, F, B and A are not
common to ocular and frame, the lowest
level is to be assigned to the full protector.
♦ Insert the ear protectors into the lateral slots
on the headband until they click into place
♦ Attach the visor with the mesh. To do this,
insert the mesh into the screen from below
until it clicks into place.
♦ Press the button and turn left to loosen.
♦ Press the button and turn right to tighten
♦ After adjustment. Ensure the button returns
to the original position and locks in place.
♦ You can adjust the height and position of the
ear protectors
♦ Push down the bracket of the ear protectors
to lock the ear protectors onto your ears.
♦ Slide the ear protectors up or down to set them
to the required height.
♦ Turn the ear protectors to set them to the
required position.
♦ Flipping the ear protectors outwards makes it
easier to put them on or take them off.
You can adjust the distance between the visor
and your face by moving the visor manually.
Alternatively, you can flip the visor all the way up.
Read all safety warnings and all instructions.
Save all warnings and instructions for future
reference.
♦ Please adhere to all instructions and tips
regarding assembly, adjustments and
maintenance of the ear protectors .
♦ The ear protectors are intended to
protect your ears in noisy areas.
♦ They should be worn for as long
as the noise persists.
♦ The pads of the ear protectors will show signs
of wear over time. Examine them for tears or
loose spots after each use.
♦ Do not clean the ear protectors with chemicals
or substances that are harmful to the wearer.
♦ Certain chemical substances can damage
this product. Detailed information is available
from the manufacturer.
♦ Ear muffs and especially their foam
padding can wear down over time. Examine
them regularly for tears, loose spots and
other signs of wear.
♦ Covering the foam pads with hygiene
covers can compromise the acoustics of
the ear muffs.
♦ The mesh visor is intended for face protection
against moderate impact hazards but is not

Maintenance, cleaning, storage
and transportation
NOTE
►
EN basic noise attenuation data:
does not protect against liquid splash (including
molten metal), hot solids, electrical hazards,
infrared and ultra violet radiation.
This mesh visors marked S should not be used
when there is a foreseeable risk of any hard or
sharp flying particles.
♦ Do not use the visor in environments with
a predictable risk from hard or sharp flying
objects.
♦ Wood shavings and their resin can damage
the visor and impair its transparency.
♦ To disinfect mesh visor and ear protectors, use
only cleaning agents that do not contain solvents
or aggressive substances.
Failure to comply with the safety
instructions provided for the ear protectors
can seriously compromise their protective
effect.

♦ Examine the components for damage and
signs of wear before each use.
♦ Replace the ear pads of the ear protectors
as required, but at least every 6 months.
To do this, simply pull out the ear pads and
insert the new pads in the right position.
Spare parts can be ordered via our
service hotline.
♦ Always clean the visor after finishing your
work.
♦ Use a moistened cloth to clean ear
protectors and visor. Never use petrol,
solvents or cleansers which can damage
plastic.
♦ When not in use, store the ear protectors
and visor in a clean, dry environment away
from UV rays.
♦ The visor can be transported in the box in
which it was sold.
Durability
The period of obsolescence of the face shield
is 3 years.
Please refer to the fold-out for the date of
manufacture. The same symbol is imprinted
into the mesh visor.
