Battery Troubleshooting: How to Access and
Check the Battery
1. Use a flat head screwdriver to unlock the seat
2. Lift the seat from the bottom to remove
3. Locate the battery, and unplug the red connectors
4. Use a volt meter to check the battery. See page 5 for volt reading tips

Turn and unlock this plastic knob

Lift the seat from bottom edge
then remove at headrest

Unplug the battery connector (RED) underneath seat

Volt Meter Results: 6.0 V ~ 6.5 V –Good condition
5.6 V ~ 5.9 V –Proceed to Recharge
5.5 V –Recharged battery for 8-10 hours. If after the
charging time, voltage has not increased,
the battery needs replacement
Below 5.5 V –Battery needs a replacement

Check the white gearbox connections

Connections
1. Check the Gearbox Connection: Follow the above
steps
to remove the seat. Locate the white gearbox
connectors in the battery compartment.
2. Disconnect and reconnect these connectors. Try
reconnecting the battery, and pressing the gas pedal
to check for power.
3. Continue with below steps if power still does not
work.

Unscrew these two screws to remove the cover

1.Flip the car on its side.
2. Locate the black wiring harness. Use a screwdriver
to remove the screws on either side of the cover.
3. Check the wiring connections to ensure they are
pushed in completely and fully intact.

Step (1)
Unscrew the steering wheel from right hand side
Step (1)
Liftand remove the Steering Wheel from column
Sound and Steering Troubleshooting
1. Unscrew the steering wheel screw, and remove the
steering wheel from the steering column.
2. Unscrew the screws on either side of the dashboard.
Lift up the dashboard and windshield assembly.
3. Check the wiring connection from the dashboard to
the car body to ensure the connection is secure.

Unscrew these two screws to remove the dashboard

Checking the Foot Pedal Connection
1. Turn the vehicle on its back and located the foot
pedal harness underneath the car.
2. Use a flat head screwdriver to snap out the foot
pedal.
3. Turn the car back over and check the wires on the
foot pedal. Ensure the wires are secure and positioned
correctly.
4. Reassemble the foot pedal.

Use a flat head screwdriver to remove the wheel cap from tabs
(Rear right wheel only)

Follow the below steps to remove and replace the
gearbox.

Use the same screwdriver to remove the snap-
pin from axle as shown
Step (3)
Slide the rim and rear wheel out from axle

Unscrew the wiring cover
Unplug the headlight connector plugs located near the front end

Flip the car over to access the wiring harness (Follow steps on page 7)

Cut this ziptie to release
the gearbox
