Diese Gebrauchsanleitung bezieht sich ausschließlich auf die Rothewald Prismabuchsen. Sie enthält
wichtige Hinweise zu Sicherheit und Handhabung. Lesen Sie die Gebrauchsanleitung, insbesondere
die Sicherheitshinweise, sorgfältig durch, bevor Sie die Rothewald Prismabuchsen verwenden. Die
Nichtbeachtung dieser Gebrauchsanleitung kann zu schweren Verletzungen oder zu Schäden an
Ihrem Fahrzeug führen. Bewahren Sie die Gebrauchsanleitung für die weitere Nutzung gut auf. Wenn
Sie die Rothewald Prismabuchsen an Dritte weiterreichen, geben Sie unbedingt diese Gebrauchsan-
leitung mit. Die Gebrauchsanleitung spiegelt den aktuellen Stand der Technik wider. Beachten Sie im
Ausland auch landesspezische Richtlinien und Gesetze.

4.1 | Bestimmungsgemäßer Gebrauch
Die Rothewald Prismabuchsen sind nur für Fahrzeuge geeignet, die entsprechende Gewindeaufnah-
men an der Hinterradschwinge besitzen. Sie dienen zur Aufnahme eines entsprechenden Hinterrad-
hebers mit Gabelaufnahme.
Da es sich bei diesem Produkt um ein universell einsetzbares Produkt ohne spezische Fahrzeugzu-
ordnung handelt, ist es wichtig, dass Sie sich vor dem ersten Gebrauch davon überzeugen, dass das
Produkt sich ohne Probleme sachgerecht an Ihrem Motorradtyp verwenden lässt.

Gefahren für Kinder und Personen mit verringerten physischen, sensorischen
oder mentalen Fähigkeiten (beispielsweise teilweise Behinderte, ältere Per-

• Verwenden Sie nur geeignete Motorradheber für die Rothewald Prismabuchsen.
Justieren Sie den Heber in der Breite so, dass die Gabelaufnahme genau in die
Buchsen eintaucht, damit Sie das Motorrad sicher aufbocken können.
• Beachten Sie zusätzlich unbedingt die Gebrauchsanleitung zum Heber.
5 | Montage
Die Rothewald Prismabuchsen werden mit den mitgelieferten Schrauben an der Hinterradschwinge
des Motorrades angeschraubt. Vergleichen Sie dazu zunächst die Gewindegröße mit dem Gewinde
an der Schwinge. Die Seite mit der Senkung für den Schraubenkopf wird nach außen hin montiert.
Um genügend Abstand zwischen Schwinge und Heber zu gewährleisten, kann es vorteilhaft sein,
die mitgelieferten Distanzen optional zwischen die Rothewald Prismabuchsen und die Schwinge zu
setzen.

Bei Lagerung und Verwendung der Rothewald Prismabuchsen in Räumen mit hoher Luftfeuchtigkeit
schützen Sie diese mit einem hartwachshaltigen Kfz-Pegemittel vor Korrosion.
7 | Gewährleistung
Für Ihre Rothewald Prismabuchsen gilt die gesetzliche Gewährleistung von zwei Jahren. Der
Gewährleistungszeitraum beginnt ab dem Kaufdatum. Gebrauchsspuren, Zweckentfremdung, nicht
bestimmungsgemäßer Gebrauch und Schäden, die aus einem Unfall, einer Manipulation oder einem
Reparaturversuch durch unautorisierte Kundendienste oder Personen resultieren oder technisch

These instructions apply exclusively to your Rothewald Bobbins. They contain important notes on
safety and handling. Read the operating instructions carefully, in particular the safety instructions,
before using the Rothewald Bobbins. Failure to adhere to these operating instructions can lead
to serious injury or damage to your vehicle. Keep the operating instructions for future reference.
If you pass the Rothewald Bobbins on to a third party, you must also hand over these operating
instructions.

4.1 | Intended use
Rothewald Bobbins are only suitable for vehicles with the corresponding threaded mounts on the
rear wheel swing arm. They are designed to accommodate a rear paddock stand with fork support.
Since this is a universal product and not intended just for one particular vehicle, it is important to
make sure that it is suitable for your type of motorcycle before you use it for the rst time.
4.2 | Safety instructions

Danger for children and persons with reduced physical, sensory or mental
abilities (e.g. partially disabled persons, elderly persons with limited physical
and mental abilities) or lack of experience and knowledge of handling
motorcycles (e.g. older children)!
• Keep the packaging lm away from children, as there is a risk of suffocation.
CAUTION!

• Only use paddock stands designed for use with these bobbins. Adjust the width
of the stand so that the fork support slips snugly into the bushings so that you
can safely jack the bike up.
• Make sure you have also read and understood the operating instructions for the
stand.
5 | Installation
Screw the bobbins on the rear wheel swing arm of the motorcycle using the supplied screws. First
compare the thread size with the thread on the swing arm. The side with the recess for the screw
head is mounted pointing outwards. In order to ensure sucient distance between the swing arm
and the stand, it may be useful to place the supplied spacers between the bobbins and the swing
arm.

6 | Storage and care
If the Rothewald Bobbins are stored and/or used on premises with a high level of humidity, they must
be protected against corrosion with a hard-wax vehicle care product.
7 | Warranty
Your Rothewald Bobbins are covered by the statutory two-year warranty. The warranty period begins
on the date of purchase. The warranty does not cover normal wear and tear, use for anything other
than the intended purpose, damage caused by an accident or by modifications or attempted repairs
to the Rothewald Bobbins by unauthorised persons, or changes to their technical specification.
8 | Disposal
Dispose of the packaging materials and the bobbins themselves in compliance with
regional regulations.

Les diabolos Rothewald ne conviennent qu'à des véhicules disposant de supports de letage
appropriés sur le bras oscillant. Ils servent à loger une béquille arrière avec support de fourche.

4.1 | Beoogd gebruik
De Rothewald prismabussen zijn alleen geschikt voor voertuigen die de daarvoor benodigde
schroefdraadopeningen in de achterbrug hebben. Ze dienen als bevestigingspunt voor een
bijbehorende achterwiellift met een vorkhouder.
Omdat het bij dit product gaat om een universeel inzetbaar product dat geschikt is voor diverse
voertuigen, is het belangrijk dat u zichzelf er vóór het eerste gebruik van overtuigt dat het product
doelmatig zonder problemen in combinatie met uw motortype kan worden gebruikt.
4.2 | Veiligheidsaanwijzingen

breedte zo uit, dat de vorkhouder precies om de bussen aangrijpt, zodat u de
motor veilig kunt opbokken.
• Neem bovendien altijd de gebruiksaanwijzing bij de lift in acht.
5 | Montage
De prismabussen worden met de meegeleverde schroeven op de achterbrug van de motorets
geschroefd. Vergelijk eerst de schroefdraaddiameter met het schroefdraad van de achterbrug. De
kant met de verdieping voor de schroefkop wordt aan de buitenzijde gemonteerd. Om te zorgen
voor voldoende afstand tussen de achterbrug en de lift kan het handig zijn om de meegeleverde
afstandsbussen optioneel tussen de prismabussen en achterbrug te plaatsen.

6 | Opslag en onderhoud
Als u de Rothewald prismabussen bewaart en gebruikt in ruimten met een hoge luchtvochtigheid,

6 | Stoccaggio e manutenzione
In caso di stoccaggio e utilizzo dei nottolini Rothewald in locali con elevata umidità dell'aria,
proteggerli dalla corrosione con un prodotto per la cura dei veicoli a base cerosa.
