3.1 | Montage- und Gebrauchsanleitung lesen und aufbewahren
Diese Gebrauchsanleitung bezieht sich ausschließlich auf den Rothewald Motocross Motorradheber
(kurz Motorradheber). Sie enthält wichtige Hinweise zu Sicherheit und Handhabung. Die Anleitung,
insbesondere die Sicherheitshinweise, sorgfältig durchlesen, bevor der Motorradheber verwendet
wird. Die Nichtbeachtung kann zu Schäden am Motorradheber selbst oder am Fahrzeug führen bzw.
die Verkehrssicherheit des Fahrzeugs beeinträchtigen und zu Folgeschäden führen. Die Anleitung
ist für die weitere Nutzung aufzubewahren. Wenn der Motorradheber an Dritte weitergeben wird,
unbedingt diese Anleitung mitgeben.
Die Gebrauchsanleitung basiert auf den in der Europäischen Union gültigen Normen und Regeln und
spiegelt den aktuellen Stand der Technik wider. Im Ausland sind ggf. auch landesspezische Richtli-
nien und Gesetze zu beachten.

Die folgenden Symbole und Signalwörter werden in dieser Anleitung oder auf dem Produkt verwendet.
4 | Sicherheit
4.1 | Bestimmungsgemäßer Gebrauch
Der Rothewald Motorradheber ist ausschließlich für das Aufbocken/Anheben von leichten
Motorrädern bis 150 kg Gesamtgewicht (Fahrzeuggewicht inkl. eventueller Anbauten) konzipiert und
darf nicht für andere Zwecke eingesetzt werden.
Der vorliegende Rothewald Motorradheber erleichtert, richtig angewandt, unzählige Reparatur- und
Wartungsarbeiten am Motorrad.
Da es sich bei diesem Produkt um ein universell einsetzbares Produkt ohne spezische
Fahrzeugzuordnung handelt, ist es wichtig, sich vor dem ersten Gebrauch davon zu
überzeugen, dass sich das Produkt ohne Probleme sachgerecht am Motorradtyp verwenden lässt.
Der Motorradheber muss jederzeit gemäß den Vorgaben des Fahrzeugherstellers angewendet
werden, um Schäden am Motorrad und mögliche Verletzungen beteiligter Personen zu vermeiden.
Er darf nur wie in dieser Anleitung beschrieben verwendet werden. Jede andere Verwendung gilt als

4.2 | Sicherheitshinweise
WARNUNG!
Kippgefahr!
• Bitte beachten, dass der Heber immer von zwei Personen bedient werden
muss.
• Den Motorradheber nur auf tragfähigem, absolut ebenem Untergrund (z.B.
Asphalt, Beton, Stein) verwenden. Niemals losen Sand bzw. weichen Erdboden
als Untergrund für den Rothewald Motocross Motorradheber nutzen, um ein
Wegbrechen/ Kippen des Motorrades und damit verbundene Schäden zu
vermeiden.
• Der Heber darf nicht zu nah an den Rahmenrundungen angesetzt werden, damit
das Fahrzeug nicht vom Heber rutschen kann.
• Kommt der Heber auf einer Hebebühne zum Einsatz, muss das Motorrad
unbedingt zusätzlich mit Zurrgurten an der Hebebühne gesichert werden.
Auch bei Verwendung am Boden sollte das Motorrad am Motorradheber mit
Spanngurten gesichert werden, wenn das Motorrad aufgrund eng verlaufender
Rahmenunterzüge von selbst nicht stabil genug auf dem Heber steht.
• Bei der Arbeit am Fahrzeug darauf achten, dass der Hebel des Hebers nicht
unbeabsichtigt zurückgeklappt wird – Den Hebel unbedingt mit dem Bügel-
Splint aus dem Lieferumfang sichern. Unterbleibt dies, kann das Motorrad
unvermutet zu Boden gehen und vom Heber kippen.
• Unter keinen Umständen an das aufgebockte Fahrzeug anlehnen – es besteht
die Gefahr des Kippens.
• Nicht auf das mit dem Motorradheber angehobene Motorrad setzen.

Gefahren für Kinder und Personen mit verringerten physischen, sensorischen
oder mentalen Fähigkeiten (beispielsweise teilweise Behinderte, ältere Per-
sonen mit Einschränkung ihrer physischen und mentalen Fähigkeiten) oder
Mangel an Erfahrung und Wissen (beispielsweise ältere Kinder)!
• Der Motorradheber darf von Kindern sowie von Personen mit verringerten
physischen, sensorischen oder mentalen Fähigkeiten oder bei Mangel an
Erfahrung und Wissen im Umgang mit Zweirädern nicht benutzt werden.
• Zum Lieferumfang gehörende Verpackungsfolie und Kleinteile von Kindern
fernhalten, da Erstickungsgefahr besteht.
VORSICHT!
Quetschgefahr!
• Unter keinen Umständen mit den Fingern, Händen oder anderen Körperteilen
unter dem aufgebockten Fahrzeug aufhalten. Das Gleiche gilt für den Moment
des Auf- bzw. Abbockens des Fahrzeugs. Auch auf beteiligte Personen achten.

• Nur ein Doppelschleifen-Motorradrahmen ist zum Aufbocken geeignet.
Hervorstehende Motorschutz-Bodenwannen, Motorteile, Kunststoff-
Verkleidungsteile und Auspuff- oder Krümmeranlagen sind keine geeigneten
Auageächen für den Heber

Der Motocross Motorradheber (1) wird vormontiert geliefert. Nur der Fußhebel (2) muss nachträglich
angebracht werden. Mit einem M8 Bolzen (4) wird dazu das Ende des Fußhebels (2) an der Mittelsäu-
le des Hebers angeschraubt. Mit den zwei längeren M8 Bolzen (5) und den beiden Gelenkstreben (3)
wird der Fußhebel (2) an der angeschweißten Aufnahme des Heberfußes angebracht. Es wird je eine
Unterlegscheibe (6) mit passendem Innendurchmesser unter dem Schraubenkopf, unter der Mutter
(7) und links und rechts zwischen den Bauteilen platziert.
6 | Anwendung
6.1 | Allgemeines
Vor der Verwendung des Motorradhebers unbedingt überprüfen, ob das Motorrad grundsätzlich die
Voraussetzungen für ein Anheben durch den Motorradheber erfüllt. Die maximale Traglast des Mo-
torradhebers beträgt 150 kg (inkl. Zubehör am Motorrad). Er ist für eine Fahrzeug-Bodenfreiheit von
minimal 30 cm und maximal 38 cm ausgelegt. Die Gummiauage schützt das Fahrzeug vor Kratzern.
Wir empfehlen, festsitzende Schrauben (Achsmuttern etc.) am Fahrzeug bereits vor dem Aufbocken
zu lösen.

6.2 | Anheben
Den Heber mittig unter die Rahmenunterzüge setzen, wobei unbedingt auf eine ausreichende Aua-
geächen an beiden Seiten zu achten ist. Daher zunächst prüfen, ob die Rahmenunterzüge problem-
los zugänglich sind.
HINWEIS!
Beschädigungsgefahr!
Bitte bedenken, dass hervorstehende Bodenwannen, Motorteile, Kunststoffteile,
Auspuff- oder Krümmeranlagen keine geeigneten Auageächen für den Heber
darstellen.
Das Motorrad nicht alleine anheben. Es sollte immer eine zweite Person helfen, die das Motorrad in
senkrechter Position sicher festhält. Jetzt den Hebelarm des Motorradhebers kraftvoll und gleichmä-
ßig herunterdrücken, bis das Motorrad auf dem Heber ruht. Das Fahrzeug ist erst dann aufgebockt,
wenn der Hebelarm völlständig, bis zum Anschlag, umgelegt wurde. Der Helfer lässt das Fahrzeug
erst los, wenn es sicher aufgebockt ist und der Hebel mit dem Splint aus dem Lieferumfang arretiert
wurde.
Dieser schützt den Hebel vor unbeabsichtigtem Zurückklappen, welches ein Herabfallen/ Kippen des
Motorrades zur Folge hätte. Am Splint wird die Bügelsicherung umgelegt, sodass der Splint nicht aus
seiner Position rutschen kann.
6.3 | Abbocken
Zum Abbocken des Motorrads den Splint entnehmen und beim langsamen Zurückklappen des
Hebels darauf achten, dass das Motorrad kontrolliert abgelassen wird, während der Helfer es wieder
sicher in senkrechter Position auf dem Heber festhält.
7 | Lagerung
Den Rothewald Motorradheber in einem vor Witterungseinüssen geschützten Raum aufbewahren.
Die Temperatur sollte zwischen +1°C und +55°C bei einer Luftfeuchtigkeit von max. 90% (nicht
kondensierend) liegen.

8 |ReinigungundPege
Sichtbare Metallteile mit wachshaltigen Kfz-Pegemitteln vor Korrosion schützen. Gleitende Teile
können mit Silikonspray geschmiert werden. Die Auageäche jedoch ausschließlich mit Wasser
reinigen.
9 | Gewährleistung
Für das vorliegende Produkt gilt die gesetzliche Gewährleistung von zwei Jahren. Der Gewährleis-
tungszeitraum beginnt ab dem Kaufdatum. Gebrauchsspuren, Zweckentfremdung, nicht bestim-
mungsgemäßer Gebrauch und Schäden, die aus einem Unfall, einer Manipulation oder einem
Reparaturversuch durch unautorisierte Kundendienste oder Personen resultieren oder technisch
abgeänderte Produkte sind von der Gewährleistung ausgeschlossen.
10 | Entsorgung
Verpackungsmaterial sowie das Produkt selbst, sind gemäß den regionalen behördlichen
Bestimmungen zu entsorgen.

3.1 | Reading and keeping the instructions for use
These instructions for use apply exclusively to the aforementioned Rothewald Motocross Paddock
Stand (for short: paddock stand). They contain important information on safety and handling. Read
these instructions carefully, in particular the safety instructions, before using the paddock stand. Failure
to follow the instructions can result in damage to the paddock stand itself or to your vehicle, make it
less safe on the road, and cause subsequent damage. Keep these instructions for future reference. If
you pass the paddock stand on to a third party, you must also hand over these instructions.
The instructions for use are based on the standards and regulations applicable in the European Union
and reect current state-of-the-art technology. If abroad, you should also observe any country-specic
guidelines and laws.

4.1 | Intended use
The Rothewald Paddock Stand is designed exclusively for jacking up/lifting light-weight motorcycles
with a total weight of up to 150kg (vehicle weight including attachment parts), and must not be used
for any other purpose.
Used correctly, this Rothewald Paddock Stand makes light work of any number of repair and
maintenance jobs on your motorcycle.
Since this is a universal product and not intended just for one particular vehicle, it is important to
make sure that it is suitable for your type of motorcycle before you use the product for the rst time.
In order to prevent damage to the motorcycle and possible personal injuries, the paddock stand
must always be used in accordance with the vehicle manufacturer's specications. It must only be
used as described in these instructions. Any other use is considered improper use and can result in
material damage. The manufacturer and supplier accept no liability for damage caused by improper
or incorrect use.

4.2 | Safety instructions
WARNING!
Risk of toppling!
• Be aware that the paddock stand must always be used by two persons.
• Only use the paddock stand on a perfectly level surface with sucient
load-bearing capacity (e.g. asphalt, concrete, stone). In order to prevent the
motorcycle from slipping/toppling over and preventing the associated damage,
never use the Rothewald Motocross Paddock Stand on loose sand or soft soil.
• The paddock stand must not be placed too close to the frame arches as the
vehicle may otherwise slip from the lift stand.
• If the paddock stand is used on a hoist, the motorcycle must always be
additionally secured to the hoist using lashing straps. Even when using it on the
ground, the motorcycle should be secured to the paddock stand using lashing
straps if the motorcycle is not stable enough to stand on the paddock stand
itself due to the close lines of the lower frame tubes.
• Before working on the vehicle, make sure that the lever on the paddock stand is
not shifted back unintentionally– it is imperative that you secure the lever with
the supplied fold-down locking pin. Failure to do so can cause the motorcycle
to go to ground unexpectedly and toppled off the paddock stand.
• Do not under any circumstances lean on the raised vehicle– there is a risk of it
toppling over.
• Do not sit on the motorcycle while it is raised on the paddock stand.
WARNING!
Danger for children and persons with reduced physical, sensory or mental
abilities (e.g. partially disabled persons, elderly persons with reduced physical
and mental abilities) or lack of experience and knowledge (e.g. older children)!
• The paddock stand must not be used by children or persons with reduced
physical, sensory or mental abilities, or those with a lack of experience and
knowledge of dealing with motorcycles.
• The packaging lm and small parts must be kept away from children, as there
is a risk of asphyxiation.
CAUTION!
Risk of crushing!
• Never put your ngers, hands or any other body parts under the vehicle whilst
it is jacked up. The same applies during the process of raising or lowering the
vehicle. Also pay attention to the safety of other persons involved.
IMPORTANT!
Risk of damage!
• Only a double-cradle motorcycle frame is suitable for jacking up. Protruding
engine guards, engine parts, plastic fairing elements and exhaust or manifold
systems are not suitable contact surfaces for the paddock stand.

The motocross paddock stand (1) is supplied pre-assembled. Only the foot lever (2) still needs to
be attached. Screw the end of the foot lever (2) to the middle column of the paddock stand with an
M8 bolt (4). Use the two longer M8 bolts (5) and the two articulated struts (3) to t the foot lever
(2) to the welded-on mount for the paddock stand base. Place a washer (6) with the suitable inside
diameter under the screw head, under the nut (7) and one each to the left and right between the
components.
6 | How to use
6.1 | General information
Before using the paddock stand, it is imperative that you check whether the motorcycle meets the
basic requirements for being jacked up with the paddock stand. The maximum lifting capacity is
150kg (including any accessories on the motorcycle). It is designed for a ground clearance of no
less than 30 cm and no more than 38 cm. The rubber pad protects the vehicle from scratches.
We recommend loosening any tight screws (axle nuts etc.) on the vehicle before jacking it up.
6.2 | Jacking up
Position the paddock stand centrally under the lower frame tubes, ensuring that the contact area on both
sides is suciently large. Therefore, rst check whether the lower frame tubes are freely accessible.
IMPORTANT!
Risk of damage!
Please bear in mind that protruding parts, such as oor pans, engine parts,
plastic parts, exhaust or manifold systems are not suitable contact surfaces for
the stand.

Do not raise the motorcycle alone. You should always have a second person with you to hold the
motorcycle securely in an upright position. Then press down the lever of the paddock stand rmly
and evenly your motorcycle is resting on the paddock stand. The vehicle is not securely jacked up
until the lever has been shifted all the way. The person assisting you must not let go of the vehicle
until it has been securely jacked up and the lever has been locked in place with the supplied locking
pin.
It protects the lever from being shifted back unintentionally, which would cause the motorcycle to fall
off/topple over. Flip the bracket safeguard on the locking pin so that the locking pin can slip out of its
position.
6.3 | Lowering
To lower the motorcycle, remove the locking pin and slowly shift back the lever, making sure that the
motorcycle is lowered in a controlled manner, while the person assisting you again holds it steady in
the upright position on the paddock stand.
7 | Storage
Store the Rothewald Paddock Stand in a room which is protected from the elements. The
temperature should be between +1°C and +55°C with a max. humidity of 90% (non-condensing).
8 | Cleaning and care
Protect the visible metal parts against corrosion using wax-based vehicle care products. Moving
parts can be lubricated with silicone spray. However, only use water to clean the contact surfaces.
9 | Warranty
This product comes with the statutory two-year warranty. The warranty period begins on the date
of purchase. The warranty does not cover normal wear and tear, use for anything other than the
intended purpose, damage caused by an accident or by modications or attempted repairs by
unauthorised persons, or products which have been modied technically.

Dispose of packaging material and the product itself in accordance with applicable local
regulations.

abrégé: béquille d'atelier). Il contient des remarques importantes à propos de la sécurité et de

dans son intégralité avant d'utiliser la béquille d'atelier. Le non-respect de ce mode d'emploi peut

• Veuillez noter que la béquille doit toujours être utilisée par deuxpersonnes.
• Employez uniquement la béquille d'atelier sur des surfaces stables et
parfaitement planes (parex. en asphalte, en béton ou en pierre). An d'éviter
un effondrement ou un renversement de la moto et les dommages inhérents,
n'utilisez jamais un sol mou ou sablonneux comme support pour la béquille
d'atelier pour motocross Rothewald.
• An d'éviter tout risque de chute du véhicule de la béquille, celle-ci ne doit pas
être placée trop près des zones arrondies du cadre.
• Si la béquille est utilisée sur une table élévatrice, la moto doit impérativement
aussi être sécurisée sur la table élévatrice à l'aide de sangles. En cas
d'utilisation au sol, si la moto n'est pas susamment stable d'elle-même sur la
béquille d'atelier en raison de l'étroitesse des tubes inférieurs du cadre, vous
devez également la sécuriser sur le lève-moto à l'aide de sangles de xation.
• Pendant que vous travaillez sur le véhicule, veillez à ce que le levier de la
béquille ne soit pas rabattu involontairement. Sécurisez impérativement le
levier à l'aide de la goupille fendue avec étrier de sécurité fournie. Si vous
n'effectuez pas cette étape, la moto risque de tomber au sol de manière
inattendue et de se renverser de la béquille.
• Ne vous appuyez en aucun cas contre le véhicule levé– le véhicule risquerait
de se renverser.
• Ne vous asseyez pas sur la moto levée avec la béquille d'atelier.
