Diese Anleitung bezieht sich ausschließlich auf die genannte Rothewald Rangierhilfe. Sie enthält
wichtige Hinweise zu Handhabung und Gewährleistung. Die Anleitung, insbesondere die Sicherheits-
hinweise, sorgfältig durchlesen, bevor der Artikel montiert und verwendet wird. Die Nichtbeachtung
dieser Gebrauchsanleitung kann zu Verletzungen oder zu Schäden am Produkt oder Fahrzeug führen.
Die Gebrauchsanleitung basiert auf den in der Europäischen Union gültigen Normen und Regeln und
spiegelt den aktuellen Stand der Technik wider. Im Ausland auch landesspezische Richtlinien und
Gesetze beachten. Die Bedienungsanleitung für die weitere Nutzung aufbewahren. Wenn der Artikel
an Dritte weitergegeben wird, unbedingt diese Gebrauchsanleitung mitgeben.

3.1 | Bestimmungsgemäßer Gebrauch
Die vorliegende Rothewald Rangierhilfe erleichtert bei richtiger Anwendung das Rangieren des Zwei-
rades auf festem, ebenem Untergrund, z. B. in einer Garage. Bei der ersten Anwendung prüfen, ob der
Hauptständer des Fahrzeugs problemlos auf die Rangierhilfe gesetzt werden kann. Die Rangierhilfe
dazu z. B. mit einem Stück Pappe schützen. Sollte die Rangierhilfe nicht geeignet sein, ist eine Rück-
gabe nach dem Kauf nur möglich, solange die Ware unbeschädigt und neuwertig bleibt.
Bei diesem Produkt handelt es sich um ein universell einsetzbares Produkt, ohne spezische Fahr-
zeugzuordnung. Unbedingt auf die Angaben der Fahrzeugbedienungsanleitung und die Vorgaben des
Fahrzeugherstellers achten.
Die Rothewald Rangierhilfe darf nur, wie in dieser Anleitung beschrieben, verwendet werden. Jede
andere Verwendung gilt als nicht bestimmungsgemäß und kann zu Sachschäden führen. Der Herstel-
ler oder Händler übernimmt keine Haftung für Schäden, die durch nicht bestimmungsgemäßen oder
falschen Gebrauch entstanden sind.

• Zum Lieferumfang gehörende Verpackungsfolie von Kindern fernhalten, da

darf nicht anderweitig verwendet werden. Der Hauptständer muss von seiner

Metallwanne der Rangierhilfe garantieren.
• Die Rangierhilfe nur auf tragfähigem, ebenem Untergrund verwenden, niemals
aber direkt auf losem Sand, weichem Erdboden o.ä. Ggf. kann eine ausreichend
stabile Holz-, Metall-, oder Betonplatte als Unterlage genutzt werden.
• Bei den ersten Bedienungen der Rangierhilfe sollte ein Helfer das Fahrzeug
senkrecht und sicher festhalten. Die Rangierhilfe später nur allein handhaben,
wenn festgestellt wurde, dass die Rangierhilfe problemlos für das Fahrzeug
geeignet ist, wenn man sicher im Umgang mit ihr geworden ist und das
Fahrzeuggewicht problemlos bewältigt werden kann.
• Das Fahrzeug immer erst dann rangieren, wenn es sicher und fest mit dem
Hauptständer auf der Rangierhilfe steht. Das Fahrzeug dazu von einem Helfer
festhalten lassen.
• Niemals mit dem Körper oder einzelnen Körperteilen unter das aufgebockte
Fahrzeug legen.
HINWEIS!
Beschädigungsgefahr!
• Die Rangierhilfe ist für eine Belastung von maximal 250 kg Fahrzeuggewicht
geprüft. Die Rangierhilfe niemals für schwerere Fahrzeuge verwenden.
4 | Montage
Die Rothewald Rangierhilfe muss vor der ersten Benutzung mit wenigen Handgriffen komplettiert
werden. Die beiliegende Stange wird unterhalb der Rangierhilfe montiert. Dazu wird die Stange mit
dem langen Ende in die Bohrung gesteckt. Das andere Ende wird in die Aussparung gelegt. Dort wird
es mittels Haltelasche, 6 mm Schraube und Mutter gesichert. Die Stange dient später als Feststell-
bremse.
5 | Anwendung
Die Rangierhilfe in einem Winkel von 90 Grad von der linken Fahrzeugseite so unter das Zweirad
schieben, dass der Hauptständer in der Metallwanne zu liegen kommen kann, wobei der Hebel
der Feststellbremse zum Bediener zeigt. Das Fußpedal des Hauptständers darf den Hebel nicht

blockieren und es darf nicht auf der Kante des Rollenauslegers zu liegen kommen – dann würde das
Motorrad keinen festen Stand nden und es könnte kippen. Dies bei der ersten Nutzung besonders
aufmerksam ausprobieren. Wird festgestellt, dass der Hauptständer problemlos und sicher in der Bo-
denwanne zu liegen kommt, die Rangierhilfe mit der Feststellbremse gegen Verrutschen sichern. Den
Hauptständer mit dem Fuß auf die Wanne senken und das Fahrzeug darin aufbocken. Nach Lösen
der Feststellbremse kann das Motorrad auf der Rangierhilfe im Raum rangiert werden, auch unter
beengten Platzverhältnissen. Bleibt das Fahrzeug an seinem endgültigen Platz auf der Rangierhilfe,
wird diese mit der Feststellbremse erneut gegen unbeabsichtigtes Wegrollen gesichert.

7 | Lagerung
Die Rothewald Rangierhilfe in einem trockenen Raum in der originalen Verpackung lagern. Die Luft-
feuchtigkeit von max. 80% (nicht kondensierend) darf nicht überschritten werden.
8 | Reinigung und Pege
Wird die Rangierhilfe in feuchter Umgebung eingesetzt, schützt die Behandlung der Metallteile mit
einem wachshaltigen Fahrzeugpegemittel (Polierwachs für Lacke) vor Korrosion. Die Gummiauf-
lage sollte jedoch stets fettfrei und trocken sein, damit sie nicht rutschig wird. Offene gleitende Teile
können mit einem Silikonspray geschmiert werden.
9 | Gewährleistung
Für das vorliegende Produkt gilt die gesetzliche Gewährleistung von zwei Jahren. Der Gewährleis-
tungszeitraum beginnt ab dem Kaufdatum. Gebrauchsspuren, Zweckentfremdung, nicht bestim-
mungsgemäßer Gebrauch und Schäden, die aus einem Unfall, einer Manipulation oder einem
Reparaturversuch durch unautorisierte Kundendienste oder Personen resultieren oder technisch
abgeänderte Produkte sind von der Gewährleistung ausgeschlossen.

3.1 | Intended use
When used correctly, this Rothewald Bike Mover makes it easy to manoeuvre your motorcycle on a
solid, level, smooth surface such as a garage oor. When you use the Bike Mover for the rst time,
check that your motorcycle’s centre stand can be positioned on the Bike Mover without any problem.
When you do this check, protect the Bike Mover with a piece of cardboard, for example. If the Bike
Mover is not suitable, you can return it, provided it is undamaged and still in new condition.
This is a universal product and not intended just for one particular vehicle, so it is imperative that you
follow the instructions in your owner’s manual and the motorcycle manufacturer’s specications.
The Rothewald Bike Mover must only be used as described in these instructions. Any other use is
considered improper use and can result in material damage. The manufacturer and supplier accept
no liability for damage caused by improper or incorrect use.
3.2 | Safety instructions

• Only use the Bike Mover on a solid, perfectly level surface, and never directly on
loose sand, soft ground or similar surfaces. If necessary, a suciently sturdy
wood board, metal plate or concrete slab can be put on the ground to support
the weight of the motorcycle.
• At rst, you should ask a friend to hold the motorcycle and keep it upright until
you have gained condence in using the Bike Mover. Later, you should only use
the Bike Mover without assistance if you’re certain that it is completely suitable
for your motorcycle, and you’re condent that you can handle the weight of the
motorcycle without any diculty.
• Never move the motorcycle until it’s standing rmly and stably with the centre
stand resting on the Bike Mover. Ask a friend to hold the motorcycle while you
do this.
• Never put any part of your body under the motorcycle when it’s standing on the
Bike Mover.
IMPORTANT!
Risk of damage!
• The Bike Mover has been tested for a maximum vehicle weight of 250kg.
Never use it for a motorcycle that is heavier than this.
4 | Assembly
The Rothewald Bike Mover is simple to assemble before you use it for the rst time. Install the rod
supplied under the Bike Mover by inserting the long end into the hole and locating the other end in
the recess. Secure it there with the bracket and the 6mm nut and bolt. The rod will act as the
parking brake.
5 | How to use
Push the Bike Mover under the motorcycle at a 90° angle, from the left side of the bike, so that the
centre stand can rest on the metal platform. Make sure that the lever of the Bike Mover’s parking
brake is pointing towards you. The foot pedal on the centre stand must not impede the lever, and
must not rest on the edge of the wheel plate. Otherwise the motorcycle will not stand rmly and may
topple over. Try this out with special care when you use the Bike Mover for the rst time. When you’re

certain that the centre stand rests securely on the platform, apply the parking brake to prevent the
Bike Mover from shifting. Lower the foot of the centre stand onto the platform and lift the motorcycle
onto its stand. You can now release the parking brake and manoeuvre the motorcycle easily, even in
a restricted space. If you leave the motorcycle on the Bike Mover after you have parked it, apply the
parking brake again to prevent it moving accidentally.

7 | Storage
Keep the Rothewald Bike Mover in its original packaging and store in a dry place. The air humidity
must not exceed 80% (non-condensing).
8 | Cleaning and care
If the Bike Mover is used in a damp environment, treating the metal parts with a vehicle care product
containing wax (polish for paintwork) will protect them from corrosion. But the rubber platform pad
must be kept dry and free of grease so that it does not become slippy. Open, moving parts can be
lubricated with silicone spray.
9 | Warranty
This product comes with the statutory two-year warranty. The warranty period begins on the date
of purchase. The warranty does not cover normal wear and tear, use for anything other than the
intended purpose, damage caused by an accident or by modications or attempted repairs by
unauthorised persons, or products which have been modied technically.
10 | Disposal
Dispose of packaging material and the product itself in accordance with applicable local
regulations.

Le présent range-moto Rothewald facilite, s'il est utilisé correctement, le rangement de votre deux-

ATTENTION!
Risque de renversement!
• Le range-moto convient uniquement aux motos équipées d'une béquille
centrale. Son utilisation est sinon strictement interdite. La béquille centrale doit
être conçue de manière à garantir que le véhicule est fermement et solidement
positionné dans la cuve métallique du range-moto.
• Utilisez le range-moto exclusivement sur un sol plat et ferme, jamais
directement sur du sable mou ou un sol meuble, etc. Le cas échéant, vous
pouvez employer un panneau susamment robuste en bois, en métal ou en
béton comme support.
• Durant les premières utilisations du range-moto, il est recommandé de
demander à une deuxième personne de tenir le véhicule à la verticale en toute
sécurité. Ne manipulez le range-moto seul que lorsque vous vous êtes assuré
qu'il convient parfaitement à votre véhicule, que vous savez le manipuler en
toute sécurité et que vous arrivez à supporter le poids du véhicule tout seul.
• Rangez le véhicule uniquement lorsqu'il est fermement et solidement
positionné à l'aide de la béquille centrale sur le range-moto. Pour cela,
demandez à une tierce personne de maintenir le véhicule.
• Ne vous couchez jamais et ne glissez aucun membre sous le véhicule soulevé.
REMARQUE!
Risque de dommage!
• Le range-moto a été testé pour une charge de 250kg maximum de poids
du véhicule. N'utilisez jamais le range-moto pour des véhicules d'un poids
supérieur.
4| Montage
Avant la première utilisation, quelques gestes susent pour assembler le range-moto Rothewald.
La barre fournie se monte au-dessous du range-moto. À cet effet, insérez l'extrémité longue de la
barre dans l'alésage. Placez l'autre extrémité dans l'évidement puis xez-la à l'aide de la languette de
retenue, de la vis de 6mm et de l'écrou. Cette barre servira par la suite de frein de stationnement.

5| Utilisation
Glissez le range-moto par la gauche avec un angle de 90degrés au-dessous du deux-roues en
veillant à ce que la béquille centrale se place bien dans la cuve métallique, le levier du frein de
stationnement devant être tourné vers vous. La pédale de la béquille centrale ne doit pas bloquer le
levier et elle ne doit pas se trouver sur le bord du bras des roues; la moto perdrait alors sa stabilité
et risquerait de se renverser. Faites un essai lors de la première utilisation en faisant preuve d'une
très grande prudence. Après vous être assuré que la béquille centrale se place parfaitement dans la
cuve, bloquez le range-moto en verrouillant le frein de stationnement an qu'il ne puisse pas glisser.
Abaissez la béquille centrale avec le pied sur la cuve puis levez le véhicule. Après avoir desserré le
frein de stationnement, la moto se manœuvre avec le range-moto à travers la pièce, même dans les
espaces exigus. Lorsque vous rangez le véhicule avec le range-moto à son emplacement dénitif,
serrez le frein de stationnement an d'éviter tout déplacement accidentel.

7| Stockage

8| Nettoyage et entretien
En cas d'utilisation du range-moto dans un environnement humide, le traitement des pièces
métalliques avec un produit d'entretien automobile à base de cire (cire à polir pour peintures) permet
de protéger ces pièces de la corrosion. An d'éviter tout dérapage, veillez toujours à ce que le
