Nur bei Betondecke / only with concrete ceiling:
Durch die Löcher der Stahlluke in die Decke bohren (Ø 6,5 mm).
Drill through the existing holes in the steel sheet into the ceiling (Ø 6,5 mm).
Die mitgelieferten Schrauben in die gebohrten Löcher schrauben (7,5x92 mm TX30).
Screw the included screws into the drilled holes (7,5x92 mm TX30).
Den Spalt zwischen Luke und Decke mit Brandschutzmörtel nach
EN 998-2, Klasse M10 füllen!
Fill the gap between hatch and ceiling with fire protection
mortar according to EN 998-2, class M10!

Gummidichtungen ankleben:
Attaching the Rubber Seal
Gummidichtung ca. 5 –7 mm von der Kante des Vierkantrohres aufkleben.
Glue the rubber sealing 5 –7 mm from the edge of the square tube.
Gummidichtung an alle vier Stahlprofile Kleben.
Glue rubber sealing on all four square tubes.
Die Ecken der Dichtungen wie folgt ausführen.
Install the seal in the edges like it is shown in the picture below.

Einstellung Anschlagschrauben, Stufe und

Einstellung Anschlagschraube am Schwenkarm
A) Scherentreppe (1) öffnen und auf Fußboden aufsetzten.
B) Skt. Mutter (8) beidseitig lösen.
C) Stellschraube (7) drehen, bis Schwenkarm (4) beidseitig aufliegt.
D) Skt. Mutter (8) beidseitig festziehen.

Einstellung Stufe an einer Scherentreppe:
A) Lukendeckel komplett öffnen und
Scherentreppe auf Fußbodenaufsetzen.
B) Skt. Mutter (2) an Stufeninnenseite lockern, bis
sich alle Stufendrehen lassen. Treppe darf nun
nicht begangen werden.
C) Stufen (1) annähernd waagerecht stellen
(Zahnspitze greift in Zahngrund) und alle Skt.
Muttern (2) mit ca. 8 Nm wieder festziehen.

Einstellung Mittelunterstützung:
Einbau nur bei Treppen ab 13 Stufen
A) Lukendeckel komplett öffnen und Scherentreppe (1) bis Anschlagbolzen (8)
ausziehen, und wenn möglich auf Fußboden aufsetzen. Wenn nicht möglich, Treppe
über Fußboden schweben lassen und nicht belasten
B) Bei unbelasteter Treppe Skt. Muttern (7) beidseitig lösen, Lagerbock (5) auf C-
Schiene (6) soweit verschieben, bis Treppe am Fußboden aufsteht und
Anschlagbolzen (8) an Mittelunterstützung (4) auf Anschlag steht.
C) Muttern (7) wieder festziehen. Treppe kann nun begangen werden.

Adjusting the Stop Screw, Tread and the Center

Adjusting the stop screw at the swivel arm
A) Open the scissors stair (1) fully so that it touches the floor .
B) Loosen the hex nut (8) on both sides.
C) Turn Adjustment screw (7) on both sides till it touches the swivel arm (4).
D) Tighten hex nut (8) on both sides.

Adjusting the Tread of a Scissors Stair
A) Open the hatch cover completely and pull out
the stair until it touches the ground.
B) Loosen the hex nuts (2) on the inside of the
tread until the treads move freely. You must not
use the Stair!
C) Get the treads to be as level as possible (the
tooths will lock them in place) then tighten all
hex nuts (8) again with approximately 8 Nm.

Adjusting the Center Support:
Only used if there are more then 13 steps
A) Open the hatch cover (3) and pull out the scissors stair (1) until it hits the stop bolt (8) if
possible let the stair touch the ground. If it is not possible let the stair hover above the
ground but to not put any load on it.
B) While the stair has no load on it loosen the hex nuts (7) and move the bearing block (5)
on its C-rail (6) until the stair touches the ground or the stop bolt (8) hits the end of the
center support (4).
C) Tighten nut (7) again. Stair can be used now.
