Operating instruction Piccolo concertina
Opening the stair:
1. Open cover if existing.
2. Hook in operating pole centrally to the lower connection of the stair and lift the stair off the plastic hooks
placed either at the backboard or the cover.
3. Using the operating pole lead the stair slowly down to the floor and remove operating pole ( Attention:
use operating pole with both hands to prevent the stair from sliding off the operating pole )
4. Lay operating pole aside and keep it ready for closing.
Closing the stair:
1. Hook in operating pole centrally to the lower connection of the stair and push the stair slowly up and lift
it into the plastic hooks either at the backboard or the cover. ( Attention: take care that the stair rests
safely in both plastic hooks )
2. Place operating pole for further use.
Maintenance:
1. Please check regularily if all the bolts, nuts and security parts are tight.
2. Please grease or oil all movable parts regularily.
Safety device:
Do not use a retractable stair without 3-sided guardrail.
