Please read instructions before beginning installation. Check the kit hardware against the kit contents shown below. Be
sure you have all needed parts and know where they go.

Check all fasteners for proper torque. Check to ensure for adequate clearance between all components.
Periodically check all hardware for tightness.
Check your local and state laws regarding fender and tire coverage requirements.

1. Removing the front fenders.
2. Disconnect the side parking light wire from the fender. See Photo 1.
3. Remove the bolt in the fender bracket. Using a 10mm socket. See Photo 2.
4. Remove the bolt in the front inner fender well, using a 10mm socket. See Photo 3.
5. Remove the 2 bolts on the bottom side of the inner fender well, using a 10mm socket. See Photo 4. Retain factory
hardware for reuse.
6. Remove the rear bolt in the fender well, using a 10mm socket. See Photo 5. Retain factory hardware for reuse.
7. Remove the fender from the jeep.
8. To release the inner fender well from the outside fender, use a punch or a 1/8” drill bit to remove the center of the
rivets in the fender well. See Photo 6.

Remove parking light. Remove fender bolt from bracket.
Remove fender bolt. Remove the inner fender bolt.
Remove inner fender bolt. Remove the rivets from inner fender.

9. Remove the push pins attaching the fender well to the outer fender. See Photo 7.
10. Temporarily install the inner fender back into position. This can be done by using the factory hardware. Using a paint
marker trace a line from the fender onto the inner fender. See Photo 8.
11. Trace the front edge of the fender onto the inner fender while in the installed position. See Photo 9.
12. Remove the inner fender for trimming, retain factory hardware for reuse.
13. Trim along the line traced onto the inner fender. See Photo 10.
14. Trim along the bottom of the fender bracket, using a cut off wheel. See Photo 11.
15. Once the bracket has been cut remove from the vehicle. See Photo 12.

Remove push pins. Trace inner fender.
Trace front edge. Trim the overhung area away.
Cut fender bracket off. Remove fender bracket.

16. Sand and paint the trimmed area to prevent rust, use painters tape along the edge of the fender to prevent over-
spray from getting on the fender of the vehicle. See Photo 13.
17. Remove the bottom bolt in the fender, use a 10mm socket. See Photo 14.
18. Install the fender delete onto the vehicle using the (8) 8mm-1.25mmx25mm BHCS, washers and nuts. Use a 5mm
allen wrench and a 13mm wrench to tighten. See Photos 15-16.
19. Install the 6mm-1.0x20mm bolt and washer in the bottom hole of the fender, through the fender delete and stock
hole in the fender, use a 4mm allen wrench to tighten. See Photo 17.
20. Install the stock inner fender using OE hardware, tighten using a 10mm socket. Photo 18. Shown with the RC in-
ner fenders installed.
21. Repeat steps 1-20 on opposite side of the vehicle.

Prep area and paint. Remove bolt from lower fender.
Tighten bolts installed.
Install and tighten 6mm bolt. Install inner fender.
Install fender delete.

1. Remove the push pins from the inner fender well. See Photo 1. Save for reuse.
2. Remove the outer fender, pull from the bottom edge of the fender releasing each of the clips. See Photo 2. NOTE :
all but the top 2 clips are inside the body panel and cannot be reached.
3. To remove the inner fender well from the outside fender, use a punch or a 1/8” drill bit to remove the center of the
rivets in the fender well. See Photo 3.
4. Temporary install the inner fender back into position. This can be done by using the factory hardware. Using a paint
marker trace a line from the fender onto the inner fender. See Photo 4.
5. Remove the inner fender for trimming.
6. Trim along the line made onto the inner fender. See Photo 5.
7. Hold the fender delete up to the vehicle, using a paint marker, mark the mounting holes to identify the ones that
need to be drilled out. See Photo 6. NOTE: the top 2 center holes are accessible and will not need marked.

Remove push pins. Remove fender.
Remove inner fender. Trace fender well opening.
Trim the overhung area away. Mark holes in fender delete.

8. Drill out the holes that are marked using a W or 3/8” drill bit. See Photo 7.
9. Install the nutserts using the supplied 6mm-1.0x40mm bolt, (2) 5/16-18 nuts, and (2) flat washers. Using a 10mm
Wrench on the bolt and a 1/2” Wrench to hold the bottom nut. See Photo 8.
10. Install the fender delete onto the vehicle, use the supplied 6mm-1.0x20mm bolts and washers in the nutserts, 6mm-
1.0x20mm bolts and washers in the center 2 bolts with washers and 6mm-1.0mm nuts on the back side of the fender
well.
11. Tighten all hardware installed using a 4mm allen wrench and a 10mm wrench. See Photo 9.
12. Using the bottom of the fender delete as a template, drill through the hole using a 5/16 drill. See Photo 10.
13. Install the supplied 6mm-1.0x20mm bolt washers and the 6mm-1.0 nut, tighten using a 4mm allen wrench and a
10mm wrench. See Photo 11.
14. Install the inner fender using the OE hardware. Photo shown with the RC inner fender kit installed. See Photo 12.
15. Repeat steps 1-14 on opposite side of the vehicle.

Drill holes in body for nutserts. Install nutserts.
Install and tighten hardware. Drill hole using 5/16 drill.
Install 6mm hardware and tighten. Install inner fender.
