DESCRIPTION
Please read the instruction manual and safety instructions carefully before using the appliance
and keep the instruction manual for reference.
SAFETY INSTRUCTIONS
WARNING:
Before use, always check that the appliance, plug and power
cord are in good condition.
The appliance must be used under normal working condi-
tions as defined in this notice.
To avoid overheating, NEVER COVERTHE APPLIANCE .
Certain parts of this product may become very hot and could
cause burns. Please be particularly vigilant in the presence of
children and vulnerable people when the appliance is in use.
It is recommended that children under three years of age
keep a safe distance from the appliance, unless they are
under continuous supervision.
Children between 3 years and 8 years of age must only start
or stop the appliance when it has been placed or installed in
its normal standard operating position and if they are under
supervision or have received instructions about using the
appliance in complete safety and understand the potential
dangers. Children aged between 3 years and 8 years of age
must not plug in the appliance, adjust the settings, clean it
or carry out maintenance.
This appliance may be used by children aged eight or older
and by persons lacking experience or knowledge or with
reduced physical, sensory or mental capabilities, provided
they have received instructions and training on how to use
the appliance safely and are fully aware of the dangers. Chil-
dren should not be allowed to play with the appliance.
Children aged 8 years or older may not clean or carry out
maintenance unless they are supervised by an adult.

instruction manual provided with the appliance.

This appliance is designed for indoor domestic household use only. In case of professional use,
inappropriate use or failure to comply with the instructions, the manufacturer accepts no responsibility
and the guarantee does not apply.
Always unroll the power cord completely before use.
Do not use the appliance in a dusty room or a location where there is a risk of fire.
Never put objects inside the appliance (e.g. needles, etc.).
Do not use an extension cord.
The appliance must be positioned so that the mains plug is accessible.
This appliance must not be used in a damp environment.
The guarantee will not apply in cases of damage resulting from incorrect use.
OPERATING INSTRUCTIONS
The electrical installation and use of the appliance must comply with the
standards in force in your country.
Before first use, ensure that the voltage, frequency and power of your
appliance are suitable for your electrical supply.
Your appliance can function using an unearthed plug. It is a class II
appliance (double electrical insulation ).
Before switching on the appliance, please ensure:
• the air intake and outlet screen are completely unobstructed;
• the appliance is placed on a horizontal and stable support.
In the event of prolonged absence: stop and unplug the appliance.
NB : In the event abnormal heating, an automatic safety device turns the appliance off and then turns
it on again when it has cooled down.
If the fault persists or gets worse, a thermal cut-off fuse will stop the appliance from functioning
completely; it must then be taken to an approved service centre.

• Operating mode selector :

• Indicator light C : the indicator light is lit when the appliance is operated using button A.
• Thermostat : adjust the temperature according to your own comfort : button B
• Cool Fan Setting : This setting enables you to use your fan heater as a cooling fan in summer.
• Silence setting : Minimum Power setting 1200W ; regulated by the thermostat.
• Max setting : Maximum Power setting 2400W ; regulated by the thermostat.
• Frost-free setting : this setting enables you to automatically maintain the temperature above 0°C
in a normally insulated room, whose volume corresponds to the power of your appliance.
Important : When using the appliance for the first time, it may temporarily release a mild odour and
smoke (this is normal with all new appliances: it will disappear after a few minutes).
MAINTENANCE AND STORAGE
•You can clean your appliance with a slightly damp cloth.
• IMPORTANT: never use abrasive products which could damage the surface of the appliance.
• Clean the air intake and outlet screens regularly.
• Store your appliance in a dry environment when not in use.
TROUBLESHOOTING
Never dismantle the appliance yourself. A poorly repaired appliance may be dangerous for the user.
Do not use your appliance and contact an approved service centre if:
•Your appliance has fallen to one side;
•Your appliance or its power cable is damaged;
•Your appliance is not functioning properly.

Ne pas utiliser votre appareil à proximité d’objets et de
produits inflammables et d’une façon générale, respecter
une distance minimum de 50cm entre votre appareil et tout
objet (murs, rideaux, aérosol, etc…).
Débrancher et laisser refroidir votre appareil avant de le
ranger ou avant toute opération d’entretien.
Si le câble d’alimentation est endommagé, il doit être
remplacé par le fabricant, son service après-vente ou une
personne de qualification similaire afin d’éviter un danger.
Pour les opérations de maintenance et de réglage, se
reporter au guide de l’utilisateur livré avec l’appareil.
Pour votre sécurité, cet appareil est conforme aux normes et réglementations applicables
(Directives basse tension, Compatibilité électromagnétique, Environnement…).
Cet appareil est destiné à un usage domestique uniquement. Il ne peut donc pas être utilisé pour
une application industrielle.
Déroulez entièrement le cordon avant chaque utilisation.
Ne faites pas fonctionner votre appareil dans un local empoussiéré ou un local présentant des
risques d’incendie.

FONCTIONNEMENT
L’installation électrique de la pièce, l’installation de l’appareil et son utilisation doivent être
conformes aux normes en vigueur dans votre pays.
Avant la première utilisation, vérifiez que tension, fréquence et
puissance de votre appareil correspondent bien à votre installation
électrique.
Votre appareil peut fonctionner avec une prise de courant sans terre.
C’est un appareil de classe II (double isolation électrique ).
Assurez-vous avant toute mise en marche de votre appareil que :
• Les grilles d’entrée et de sortie d’air sont totalement dégagées,
• L’appareil est placé sur un support horizontal et stable.
En cas d’absence prolongée : arrêter et débrancher l’appareil.
NOTE : En cas d’échauffement anormal, un dispositif de sécurité automatique coupe le
fonctionnement de l’appareil puis le remet en route après refroidissement.
Si le défaut persiste ou s’amplifie, un fusible thermique arrête définitivement l’appareil : celui-ci
doit alors être amené à un centre de service agréé.

• Voyant C : Le voyant est allumé dès lors que l'appareil est mis en fonctionnement par le bouton A.
• Thermostat : le réglage de la température se fait en fonction de votre sensation de confort.: bouton B.
• Ventilation froide : il vous permet d’utiliser votre appareil comme ventilateur l’été.
• Position Silence : position min : 1200W ventilés, régulés.
• Position Max : position maxi : 2400W ventilés, régulés.
• Position hors gel : cette position vous permet de maintenir automatiquement la température au-
dessus de 0°C dans un local normalement isolé et dont le volume correspond à la puissance délivrée
par votre appareil.
Important : Lors de la première utilisation, il peut se dégager momentanément une légère odeur et de
la fumée (phénomènes classiques sur tous les appareils neufs : ils disparaîtront après quelques minutes).
ENTRETIEN ET STOCKAGE
• Vous pouvez nettoyer votre appareil avec un chiffon légèrement humide.
• IMPORTANT : ne jamais utiliser de produits abrasifs qui risqueraient de détériorer les revêtements.
• Nettoyer régulièrement les grilles d’entrée et de sortie d’air.
• Lorsque vous n’utilisez pas l’appareil, celui-ci doit être placé dans un local à l’abri de l’humidité.
EN CAS DE PROBLEME
Ne démontez jamais votre appareil vous-même. Un appareil mal réparé peut présenter des risques
pour l’utilisateur.
N’utilisez pas votre appareil et contactez un Centre Service Agréé si :
• Votre appareil est tombé,
• Votre appareil ou son cordon d’alimentation est endommagé,
• Votre appareil ne fonctionne pas normalement.

FUNCIONAMIENTO

• Piloto C : el piloto se enciende cuando el aparato se pone en funcionamiento mediante el botón A.
• Termostato : el ajuste de la temperatura se realiza en función de su sensación de confort : botón B.
• Función Cool Fan : Esta función le permite utilizar el calefactor como un ventilador de aire frío en
verano.
• Función Silence : Función de potencia mínima de 1200W regulada por el termostato.
• Función Max : Función de potencia máxima de 2400W regulada por el termostato.
• Posición antihelada : esta posición le permite mantener de forma automática la temperatura
por debajo de 0°C en un local normalmente aislado y cuyo volumen corresponde a la potencia
que desprende su aparato.
Importante : Al usarlo por primera vez puede aparecer un ligero olor y humo (fenómenos clásicos
en todos los aparatos nuevos: desaparecerán pasados unos minutos).
MANTENIMIENTOY ALMACENAMIENTO
• Puede limpiar el aparato con un trapo ligeramente húmedo.
• IMPORTANTE : No utilice nunca productos abrasivos que puedan deteriorar los revestimientos.
• Limpie periódicamente las rejillas de entrada y salida del aire.
• Cuando no utilice el aparato deberá guardarlo en un sitio protegido de la humedad.
EN CASO DE PROBLEMAS
No desmonte nunca el aparato usted mismo. Un aparato mal reparado puede resultar peligroso
para el usuario.
No utilice el aparato y contacte con un centro de servicio autorizado si:
• El aparato se ha caído,
• El aparato o su cable de alimentación están dañados,
• Su aparato no funciona con normalidad.

Das Gerät nie in der Nähe von entflammbaren Objekten oder
Produkten verwenden und generell einen Mindestabstand
von 50 cm zwischen dem Gerät und jeglichem Objekt einhal-

Das Gerät vom Netz trennen und abkühlen lassen, bevor Sie
es verstauen oder eine Form der Instandhaltung durchführen.

BETRIEB
Die elektrische Installation im Raum sowie die Installation und Nutzung
des Gerätes müssen den in Ihrem Land geltenden Standards
entsprechen.
Stellen Sie vor der ersten Verwendung sicher, dass Spannung,
Frequenz und Leistung Ihres Gerätes mit der elektrischen Installation
übereinstimmen.
Das Gerät kann an eine nicht geerdete Steckdose angeschlossen
werden. Es entspricht der Klasse II (doppelte elektrische Isolation ).
Vergewissern Sie sich vor der Inbetriebnahme des Geräts, dass:
• Die Luftansaug und Luftaustrittsgitter vollständig frei sind
• Das Gerät auf einem horizontalen und stabilen Untergrund steht.
Sollten Sie länger nicht beim Gerät sein, den Betrieb beenden und das Gerät vom Netz trennen.
ANMERKUNG: Bei Überhitzung schalten die Sicherheitsvorrichtungen das Gerät automatisch aus
und setzen es automatisch wieder in Gang, wenn es abgekühlt ist.
Sollte die Störung anhalten oder sich verschlimmern, beendet eine thermische Sicherung den
Betrieb des Gerätes. Das Gerät muss zu einem Kundendienst gebracht werden.

OPGELET :
Controleer vóór elk gebruik de goede algemene staat van het
apparaat, de stekker en het netsnoer.
Het apparaat moet worden gebruikt volgens de normale
gebruiksvoorwaarden zoals bepaald in deze handleiding.
Om oververhitting te voorkomen MAG HET APPARAAT
NOOIT WORDEN BEDEKT .
Bepaalde delen van dit product kunnen zeer warm worden
en brandwonden veroorzaken. Let vooral op wanneer kinde-
ren en kwetsbare personen in de buurt zijn.
Kinderen jonger dan 3 jaar moeten op een afstand worden
gehouden van het apparaat, tenzij ze permanente begelei-
ding krijgen.
Kinderen van 3 tot 8 jaar mogen het apparaat enkel in- of uit-
schakelen op voorwaarde dat het apparaat in zijn normale en
verwachte bedrijfsopstelling is geplaatst of geïnstalleerd en
dat de kinderen worden begeleid of instructies hebben
gekregen over het veilige gebruik van het apparaat en op de
hoogte zijn van de potentiële gevaren. Kinderen van 3 tot 8
jaar mogen het apparaat niet aansluiten, afstellen, reinigen
of het onderhoud ervan uitvoeren.
Dit apparaat mag worden gebruikt door kinderen van mins-
tens 8 jaar en personen zonder ervaring of kennis of met
beperkte lichamelijke, zintuiglijke of geestelijke vermogens,
indien zij instructies hebben ontvangen en worden begeleid

Plaats het apparaat niet vlak onder een stopcontact.
Gebruik het apparaat niet in de buurt van een badkuip,
douche, wastafel of zwembad.
Zorg ervoor dat er nooit water in het apparaat kan komen.
Raak het apparaat niet aan met vochtige handen.
Gebruik het apparaat niet in de buurt van brandbare voor-
werpen en producten. Plaats het apparaat over het algemeen
op een minimale afstand van 50 cm van elk ander voorwerp
(muren, gordijnen, spuitbussen enz.).
Haal de stekker uit het stopcontact en laat het apparaat
afkoelen alvorens het op te bergen of te onderhouden.
Wanneer het netsnoer is beschadigd, moet dit worden ver-
vangen door de fabrikant, zijn servicedienst of een
gelijkwaardig gekwalificeerde persoon om gevaarlijke situa-
ties te voorkomen.
Informatie over het onderhoud en afstellen van het apparaat
vindt u in de bij het apparaat geleverde gebruiksaanwijzing.
Voor uw veiligheid voldoet dit apparaat aan de toepasselijke normen en regelgevingen (richtlijnen
inzake laagspanning, elektromagnetische compatibiliteit, milieu...).
Dit apparaat is uitsluitend bedoeld voor huishoudelijk gebruik. Het mag dus niet voor industriële
doeleinden worden gebruikt.
Rol vóór elk gebruik het netsnoer volledig uit.
Gebruik het apparaat niet in een stoffige ruimte of in een ruimte met brandgevaar.
Stop nooit voorwerpen in het apparaat (bijv. naalden).
Gebruik geen verlengsnoer.
Het apparaat moet zodanig worden geplaatst dat de stekker gemakkelijk toegankelijk is.
Het apparaat mag niet worden gebruikt in een vochtige ruimte.
De garantie is niet geldig in geval van eventuele schade door oneigenlijk gebruik.
WERKING
Het elektriciteitsnet van de kamer, de installatie van het apparaat en
het gebruik moeten voldoen aan de in uw land geldende normen.
Controleer vóór het eerste gebruik of de spanning, de frequentie en
het vermogen van uw apparaat overeenkomen met die van het
elektriciteitsnet.
Het apparaat kan functioneren met een stopcontact zonder aarding.
Het is een apparaat van klasse II (met een dubbele elektrische isolatie ).
Alvorens het apparaat in te schakelen moet steeds worden nagegaan
dat:
• de luchtinlaat en -uitlaatroosters volledig vrij zijn,
• het apparaat op een horizontale, stabiele ondergrond staat.
In geval van lange afwezigheid moet het apparaat worden uitgeschakeld en de stekker uit het
stopcontact worden gehaald.
Opgelet : Als het apparaat abnormaal warm wordt, wordt het uitgeschakeld door een automatische
veiligheidsvoorziening. Na afkoeling schakelt deze voorziening het apparaat weer in.
Indien het defect aanhoudt of erger wordt, schakelt een thermische zekering het apparaat definitief
uit: dit moet dan naar een erkend servicecentrum worden gebracht.

Belangrijk : Bij het eerste gebruik kan het apparaat kortstondig een lichte geur en rook afgeven (dit

ONDERHOUD EN OPSLAG
• Het apparaat kan worden gereinigd met een licht vochtige doek.
• BELANGRIJK : gebruik nooit schurende middelen die de bekleding van het apparaat kunnen
aantasten.
• Reinig de luchtinlaat- en uitlaatroosters regelmatig.
• Indien u het apparaat niet gebruikt, moet het in een droge ruimte worden bewaard.
IN GEVAL VAN PROBLEMEN
Demonteer het apparaat nooit zelf. Een slecht hersteld apparaat kan gevaarlijk zijn voor de
gebruiker.
Gebruik uw apparaat niet en neem contact op met een erkend servicecentrum indien:
• uw apparaat is gevallen,
• het apparaat of het netnoer beschadigd is,
• het apparaat niet normaal werkt.

CONSIGLI DI SICUREZZA

L'apparecchio deve essere utilizzato secondo le normali condi-

Per evitare rischi di surriscaldamento, NON COPRIRE MAI L'AP-

Alcune parti di questo apparecchio possono diventare molto
calde e causare delle bruciature. Prestare particolare attenzione
in presenza di bambini e di persone vulnerabili.
Mantenere l'apparecchio a distanza da bambini di età inferiore
ai 3 anni, salvo qualora siano sorvegliati costantemente.
I bambini di età compresa dai 3 agli 8 anni possono mettere in
funzione o arrestare l'apparecchio solo qualora questo sia stato
disposto o installato nella sua normale posizione di funziona-
mento, se sorvegliati o se abbiano ricevuto istruzioni
sull'utilizzo dell'apparecchio in sicurezza e ne comprendano

Scollegare e lasciare raffreddare l'apparecchio prima di
riporlo o effettuarne la manutenzione.
Se il cavo di alimentazione risulta danneggiato, per la sosti-
tuzione rivolgersi alla casa produttrice, a un suo centro
assistenza o a una persona di pari qualifica al fine di evitare
qualsiasi pericolo.
Per le operazioni di manutenzione e regolazione, fare riferi-
mento alle istruzioni per l’uso in dotazione con
l’apparecchio.
Per garantire la massima sicurezza, questo apparecchio è conforme alle norme e ai regolamenti
vigenti (Direttive Bassa tensione, Compatibilità elettromagnetica, Ambiente, ecc.)
L'apparecchio è destinato al solo uso domestico. Non utilizzare l'apparecchio per applicazioni

FUNZIONAMENTO
L'installazione elettrica della parte, dell'apparecchio e il suo utilizzo
devono essere conformi alle norme in vigore nel paese dell'utilizzatore.
Prima di utilizzare l'apparecchio per la prima volta, verificare che la
tensione, la frequenza e la potenza dell'apparecchio siano conformi
all'impianto elettrico esistente.
L'apparecchio può essere utilizzato con una presa di corrente senza
messa a terra. Apparecchio di classe II (doppio isolamento elettrico ).
Prima di accendere l'apparecchio verificare che:
• Le griglie di entrata e uscita dell'aria siano completamente libere.
• L'apparecchio sia disposto su un supporto orizzontale stabile.
Spegnere e scollegare l'apparecchio in caso di assenza prolungata.
NOTA : in caso di riscaldamento anormale, un dispositivo di sicurezza automatico interrompe il
funzionamento dell'apparecchio per poi ripristinarlo una volta raffreddatosi.
Qualora il problema persista o peggiori, un fusibile termico spegne definitivamente l'apparecchio
che dovrà essere portato presso un centro assistenza autorizzato.

MANUTENZIONE E CONSERVAZIONE
• Pulire l'apparecchio con un panno leggermente umido.
• IMPORTANTE: non utilizzare mai prodotti abrasivi in quanto potrebbero deteriorare i rivestimenti
dell'apparecchio.
• Pulire regolarmente le griglie di entrata e di uscita dell'aria.
• Quando non si utilizza l'apparecchio riporlo in un luogo asciutto.
IN CASO DI PROBLEMI
Non smontare mai da soli l'apparecchio. Un apparecchio riparato male può comportare dei rischi per
l'utilizzatore.
Non utilizzare l'apparecchio e contattare un centro assistenza autorizzato se:
• L'apparecchio è caduto,
• L'apparecchio o il cavo di alimentazione è danneggiato,
• L'apparecchio non funziona correttamente.
