blocking airflowintotheunit causing it tothenoverheat.Allowanair gap ofat least 600mm
tothefront and rearoftheunit toensureaclearairflow.

Connect toasuitableelectricalsupply.
Theunit cannot operatewithout thefanswitchinthe‘1’position.
1–Switchthefanrockerswitchto‘1’.
2–Switchtheheaterrockerswitchto‘1’.
3–Set thethermostat tothedesired temperature.
Maximum totalductinglengthis 7.5mwith8”duct.Donotexceed,torun furtherlengths
contactmanufacturer.Keepductingastautandasstraightaspossible,avoidingkinksand
sharp bends.Donot restrict theducting outlet withgrills.

Settheheatrockerswitchto‘0’,fanonlyandleavetheunitinthefanonlymodefor5
minutesMINIMUM toallowtheelementstocool.
Once theunit’sheathasbeendissipated,turnthefanrockerswitchto‘0’anddisconnect
fromtheelectricalsupply.
It is nowsafetomovetheunit.
Failuretoobservetheseinstructionscould result indamagetotheelements.
TheKFF13 is fittedwithasafetylimit thermostat.Should thedesigned operating temperature
beexceeded,itwill opencircuittheelements.Thesewill automaticallyresetasthe
temperaturereduces.
Maximum ambient working temperatureis 40°C.
Inareaswhereseveralheaters areusedsimultaneouslythepositioningoftheunitsis an
important consideration.
OptionalThermostatiffitted.
Rotating thecontrolknob fullyclockwisewill causetheheatertokeep providing heat until
theambient temperaturesensed byitssensor(thecoppertubelocated insidethereargrill)
reachesnominally40ºC.
At this point,powertotheheating element will beinterrupted,leaving thefanrunning only.
Ifthecontrolknob is turned anti-clockwisethentheuseris looking tolowerthesensed
ambient temperatureat whichtheelement switchesoff.
Whenthesensedambienttemperatureis belowthepointatwhichthethermostatis setto,
poweris once againapplied totheelement.
