COME FUNZIONA
Gli insetti sono attirati dagli stimoli visivi generati dai LED multibanda e potenziati dal rifrattore
centrale; la griglia elettrificata li elimina al minimo contatto.
Per aumentarne l’efficacia, si può utilizzare la carta adesiva Sandokan (art. 7357) per catturare ed
eliminare gli insetti avvicinatisi alla luce. Questa funzione è particolarmente utile in ambienti dove
si lavorano gli alimenti (cucine, bar, ristoranti, ecc)
Grazie alla bassissima corrente sulla griglia e con l’ausilio delle colle nessun residuo di insetti viene
disperso.
POSIZIONAMENTO
Per ottimizzare l’efficacia attrattiva del dispositivo è necessario utilizzarlo in condizioni di bassa
luminosità ambientale. QUAD ZAN può essere:
- appoggiato su scaffali, mobili o altre superfici orizzontali;
- appeso tramite i ganci a scomparsa sul retro della parte superiore (FIG 1);
- fissato ad una parete assicurando i ganci della base (FIG 2) con i tasselli. Utilizzare la dima posta
nelle ultime pagine del presente manuale per realizzare i fori con precisione.
Indipendentemente dal posizionamento scelto tenere il dispositivo fuori dalla portata di bambini e
animali domestici
QUAD ZAN non fa uso di insetticidi, pesticidi, repellenti, oli essenziali, spirali antizanzara o cande-
le. Non fa uso di prodotti chimici pericolosi o ritenuti tali per l’uomo e l’ambiente.
QUAD ZAN può essere utilizzato in abbinamento agli attrattivi Sandokan contenenti ottenolo, acidi
carbossilici e altre molecole facenti parte del normale metabolismo di uomini e animali.
Questo dispositivo impiega i metodi più ecocompatibili sul mercato ed è sicura per voi e il vostro
ambiente.
I LED ad alta efficienza hanno un consumo energetico estremamente ridotto ed una lunga durata.

UTILIZZO DEGLI ATTRATTIVI
Sandokan Quad-Zan può essere utilizzato in abbinamento a Sandokan Pro Attractins (art. 7356),
o a Sandokan Sinergizzante Attrattivo (art. 7355). Il primo ne incrementa l’efficacia soprattutto nei
confronti delle zanzare diurne, il secondo nei confronti delle zanzare notturne.
Istruzioni per l’inserimento dell’attrattivo:
Scollegare il dispositivo dalla rete elettrica
Estrarre il contenitore posto sul fondo del dispositivo premendo sulle alette di blocco e tirare de-
licatamente. (FIG. 3-4)
Inserire l’attrattivo scelto e riposizionare il contenitore. (FIG. 5)
Sostituire l’attrattivo periodicamente attenendosi alle indicazioni di durata poste sulla confezione
dello stesso.
MANUTENZIONE E PULIZIA DELLA TRAPPOLA
Prima di effettuare qualsiasi operazione di manutenzione è necessario scollegare il dispositivo dalla rete
elettrica.
- Rimuovere la base del dispositivo e staccare le protezioni.
- Pulire la griglia elettrificata e tutte le altre parti della trappola aiutandosi con un pennello asciutto.
- Effettuare le operazioni di pulizia ogni 15 - 30 giorni, o più spesso se la griglia elettrificata risulta com-
pletamente coperta di insetti.
ATTENZIONE! PER LA PULIZIA NON UTILIZZARE ACQUA
INSERIMENTO E SOSTITUZIONE DELLE STRISCE COLLANTI
Spegnere il dispositivo e scollegarlo dalla rete elettrica.
Rimuovere la base del dispositivo e staccare le protezioni. (FIG. 3-4)
Inserire le strisce collanti negli apposti supporti orientando il lato colloso verso l’interno del dispositivo.

Riposizionare le protezioni e accendere le luci a LED avendo cura di disattivare la griglia elettrificata.
Sostituire le strisce collanti quando sono completamente ricoperte di insetti e comunque ogni 30 giorni
al massimo.

NOTE IMPORTANTI DI SICUREZZA
Togliere tutto il materiale di imballaggio e, per evitare pericolo di soffocamento, non consentire ai bambini
di giocarci.
L’apparecchio è da utilizzarsi esclusivamente in ambienti interni o al riparo dalle intemperie.
L’apparecchio non è destinato ad essere usato da persone (bambini compresi) le cui capacità fisiche,
sensoriali o mentali siano ridotte, oppure con mancanza di esperienza o di conoscenza, a meno che esse
abbiano potuto beneficiare, attraverso l’intermediazione di una persona responsabile della loro sicurezza,
di una sorveglianza o di istruzioni riguardanti l’uso dell’apparecchio.
L’apparecchio deve essere tenuto fuori dalla portata dei bambini.
I bambini devono essere sorvegliati per assicurarsi che non giochino con l’apparecchio.
Quando si utilizzano prolunghe, tenere la presa di corrente lontano dall’umidità ed evitare danni al cavo.
L’apparecchio non deve essere utilizzato in luoghi in cui possano essere presenti polveri o vapori infiam-
mabili o esplosivi.
Non usare l’apparecchio se presenta rotture.
Non usare l’apparecchio se bagnato o con tracce di umidità.
Non esporre mai l’apparecchio alla pioggia, non dimenticarlo all’aperto e non esporlo ad ambienti molto
sporchi.
C’è rischio di scossa elettrica se il getto di un tubo da giardino viene diretta sul dispositivo.
Non adatto per l’uso in granai, stalle e luoghi simili.
Evitare che il cavo o la spina tocchino superfici calde.
Se il cavo di alimentazione risulta danneggiato, esso deve essere sostituito dal costruttore o dal suo
servizio assistenza tecnica o comunque da una persona con qualifica similare, in modo da prevenire ogni
rischio.
Se una parte dell’apparecchio risulta danneggiata, non tentare di effettuare autonomamente le riparazioni,
ma rivolgersi ad un centro di assistenza.
Staccare la spina quando non si usa.
Assicurarsi sempre che vi sia sufficiente spazio intorno a QUAD ZAN per la circolazione dell’aria.
Prima di inserire la spina accertarsi che la tensione di rete sia la stessa indicata sull’adesivo.
Questo apparecchio è destinato solo ed esclusivamente all’uso per il quale è stato concepito ed i costrut-
tore non è responsabile per eventuali danni derivati da un uso improprio.

GARANZIA
CONDIZIONI: L’apparecchio è garantito per un periodo di due anni dalla data di acquisto che viene com-
provata da un documento valido agli effetti fiscali rilasciato dal rivenditore autorizzato che attesti il nomi-
nativo del rivenditore e la data in cui è stata effettuata la vendita.
La presente garanzia lascia impregiudicati i diritti che derivano al consumatore dal D.Lgs. 24/2002 “attua-
zione della dir. 99/44/CE su taluni aspetti della vendita e delle garanzia dei beni di consumo”, diritti che il
consumatore può far valere esclusivamente nei confronti del proprio venditore.
La presente garanzia è valida solo sul territorio della Comunità Europea.
Nel periodo di garanzia di 24 mesi, Euroequipe srl si impegna a riparare o sostituire gratuitamente le parti
componenti l’apparecchio riconosciute difettose all’origine per vizi di fabbricazione.
In caso di guasto irreparabile o di ripetuto guasto della stessa origine, si provvederà a giudizio della
casa costruttrice alla sostituzione dell’apparecchio. La garanzia sul nuovo apparecchio continuerà fino al
termine del contratto originario.
Non sono coperte dalla garanzia tutte le parti che dovessero risultare difettose a causa di negligenza
o trascuratezza nell’uso (mancata osservanza delle istruzioni per il funzionamento dell’apparecchio), di
errata installazione o manutenzione operate da personale non autorizzato, di danni da trasporto ovvero di
circostanze che, comunque non possono farsi risalire a difetti di fabbricazione dell’apparecchio.
Sono altresì esclusi dalle prestazioni in garanzia gli interventi inerenti all’installazione agli impianti di ali-
mentazione, nonché le manutenzioni citate nel libretto istruzioni.
La garanzia è inoltre esclusa in tutti i casi di uso improprio dell’apparecchio.

Euroequipe srl declina ogni responsabilità per eventuali danni che possono, direttamente o indiretta-

d’installazione, uso e manutenzione dell’apparecchio.
Qualora l’apparecchio venga spedito presso il Centro del Servizio di Assistenza tecnica locato in Via del
Lavoro 1/3 40056 Crespellano (BO) i rischi ed i costi di trasporto relativi saranno a carico dell’utente.

Il simbolo del cestino barrato riportato sull’apparecchio indica che il prodotto, alla fine della
propria vita utile, dovendo essere trattato separatamente dai rifiuti domestici, deve essere
conferito in un centro di raccolta differenziata per apparecchiature elettriche ed elettroniche
oppure riconsegnato al rivenditore al momento dell’acquisto di una nuova apparecchiatura equivalente.
L’utente è responsabile del conferimento dell’apparecchio a fine vita alle appropriate strutture di raccolta
previste dalla vigente legislazione sui rifiuti.
L’adeguata raccolta differenziata per l’avvio successivo dell’apparecchio dimesso al riciclaggio, al

QUAD ZAN does not make use of insecticides, pesticides, repellents, essential oils, anti-mosquito
spirals or candles. It does not make use of hazardous chemical products or possibly hazardous
products to the human body or to the environment.
QUAD ZAN can be used in combination with Sandokan enticers containing octenol, carboxylic
acids and other molecules present in the normal metabolism of humans and animals.
This device makes use of the most environmentally-friendly methods available on the market, and
is completely safe for you and the environment.
High-efficiency LEDs have an extremely low power consumption and long life.
OPERATING PRINCIPLE
Insects’ attention is caught by the visual features generated by the multiband LEDs, enhanced by
the central refractor; the electrified grid eliminates them at the min. contact.
To increase efficiency, it is also possible to use Sandokan adhesive paper (Part No. 7357) to catch
and eliminate the insects that went close to the light. This function is particularly useful in environ-
ments where food is processed (kitchen, bar, restaurant, etc.).
Thanks to the very low current at the grid and using glue, no insect residues are scattered around.
POSITION
To optimise its attractive effectiveness, the device will have to be used in poor-lighted
environments.
QUAD ZAN can be:
- set on shelves, furniture or other horizontal surfaces;
- hung using the hidden hooks on the back of the top part (FIG 1)
- wall-mounted by fixing the base hook with blocks (FIG 2).

TRAP MAINTENANCE AND CLEANING
Before carrying out any maintenance operation, disconnect the device from power
mains.
- Remove device base and the protections (FIG 3).
- Clean the electrified grid and all the other trap parts using a dry brush.
Perform cleaning operations every 15 - 30 days, or even more often if the electrified
grid is fully covered by insects.
ATTENTION! TO CLEAN THE DEVICE, DO NOT USE WATER
SANDOKAN ATTRACTANT INSTALLATION
Sandokan QUAD ZAN can be used together with Sandokan Pro Attractins (Part
No. 7356), or Sandokan attractive synergist (Part No. 7355). The first one en-
hances it efficiency especially for daytime mosquitoes, the second one does
the same for night-time mosquitoes
- Switch the device off, and disconnect it from power mains.
- Remove device base by pushing the two plastic holders and pull the base (FIG. 3 - 4)
- Insert the attractant into the relative space. (FIG. 5)
- Install net inside the special sleeve again, and reactivate the device.
- Reposition the protections and turn on the Trap.
INSERTING AND CHANGING THE GLUE BANDS
- Switch the device off, and disconnect it from power mains.
- Remove device base (FIG. 3)
- Insert the glue bands in their supports (FIG. 6) with the glued side towards device inside.
- Reposition the protections and turn on the LEDs while disabling the electrified grid.
Change the glue bands when they are fully covered with insects and in any case every 30 days at
most.

IMPORTANT SAFETY INSTRUCTIONS
Remove all packing material and, to prevent any chocking, do not allow children playing
with it.
The device shall be used indoors and protected from the elements, only.
The device shall not be used by people (children included) with reduced physical or men-
tal capacities, or without any experience or knowledge, unless they are under the super-
vision of a person responsible for their safety or they have been instructed on how to use
the device.
The device shall be kept out of the reach of children.
Children shall be watched over to make sure they do not play with the device.
When using extensions, keep the power socket away from any humidity source, and
prevent cable damaging.
The device shall not be used in dusty areas, or with flammable or explosive vapours.
Do not use the device if it shows signs of breaks.
Do not use the device if it is wet or shows signs of moisture.
Never expose the device to rain, do not forget it outdoors, and do not expose it to very
dirty environments.
The water jet of a garden pipe on the device may result in an electric shock.
Not suitable for use inside barns, stables, or similar.
Prevent cable or plug from touching hot surfaces.
Should the power cable be damaged, have it replaced by the manufacturer or by the
authorized technical service or, anyway, by a qualified operator, so as to prevent any
possible risk.
If one of device parts is damaged, do not fix it by yourself, but contact an authorised
service centre.
Unplug the device when not in use.
Place it on furniture, shelves or on the floor, and always on horizontal surfaces.
Always make sure to leave enough room around the QUAD ZAN to ensure a correct air
circulation.
Before plugging the device in, make sure that mains voltage is the same specified on the
label.
This device is suitable for its intended use, only. The manufacturer will not be liable for any
damage resulting from device misuse.

CONDITIONS: this device is guaranteed for two years from the purchase date, which is proved by
a document released from the dealer. The document must show both name of the dealer and the
sale date.
The present guarantee does not influence the rights of the consumer that derives from the directive
99/44/CE, which deals with some aspects of the sales and of the warranties of the consumers
goods. The consumer can claim the mentioned rights only with his own vendor. For guarantee
is intended the free replacement or repairing of the defective components, resulting from wrong
manufacturing.
The Manufacturer may decide to replace the product, if irreparable or frequented breakdown of the
same nature should occur. The guarantee on the new item will be valid until the end of the former
contract.
Guarantee does not cover defective parts, which ineffectiveness is the result of negligence in using
the product, (non-observance of the operating instructions), wrong installation and maintenance or
maintenance operated by non-authorized personnel, handling damages and all the circumstances
that can be attributed to wrong manufacturing. Guarantee does not likewise cover the installation
and cabling operations, and the routine maintenance indicated in the instruction booklet.
The fluorescent tubes are not included in the guarantee (for products provided of), and in all cases
of improper use of the product. It is the client responsibility to check the good condition of the
fluorescent tubes ( if included) before purchase.
Euroequipe s.r.l. is not reliable for possible damages to people, animals or things, deriving from
the non-observance of the precautions indicated in the instruction booklet, and in particular of the
directions relevant to installation, use and maintenance operations.

life, it must not be disposed of as domestic waste, but must be taken to a collection centre for
waste electrical and electronic equipment, or returned to a retailer on purchase of a replacement.

COMMENT IL FONCTIONNE
Les insectes sont attirés par les stimulus visuels générés par les DEL multibande et dont la puis-
sance est augmentée par le réfracteur central ; la grille électrifiée les élimine au moindre contact.
Pour en augmenter l’efficacité, on peut utiliser le papier collant Sandokan (art. 7357) pour capturer
et éliminer les insectes qui s’approchent de la lumière. Cette fonction est particulièrement utile
dans des lieux où on travaille les aliments (cuisines, bars, restaurants, etc.).
Grâce au courant très faible sur la grille et l’utilisation des colles, aucun résidu d’insectes n’est
dispersé.

QUAD ZAN n’emploie pas des insecticides, pesticides, répulsifs, huiles essentielles, spirales anti-
moustiques ou bougies. Il n’utilise pas de produits chimiques dangereux ou retenus comme tels
pour l’homme et l’environnement.
QUAD ZAN peut être utilisé avec les éléments attractifs Sandokan contenant de l’octénol, des
acides carboxyliques et d’autres molécules faisant partie du métabolisme normal des hommes et
des animaux.
Ce dispositif utilise les méthodes les plus écocompatibles sur le marché et est sûr pour vous et
votre environnement.
Les DEL à haute efficacité ont une consommation énergétique extrêmement réduite et une longue
durée.
POSITIONNEMENT
Pour optimiser l’efficacité attractive du dispositif, il est nécessaire de l’utiliser dans
des conditions d’éclairage ambiant modéré. QUAD ZAN peut être :
- posé sur des étagères, des meubles ou d’autres surfaces horizontales ;
- accroché grâce à des crochets escamotables à l’arrière de la partie supérieure (FIG 1)
- accroché à la paroi en fixant le crochet de la base (FIG 2) à des chevilles.
Indépendamment du positionnement choisi, tenir le dispositif hors de portée des enfants et des
animaux domestiques.

INSTALLATION DES ÉLÉMENTS ATTRACTIFS SANDOKAN
Sandokan QUAD ZAN peut être utilisé avec Sandokan Pro Attractins (art. 7356) ou San-
dokan Synergique Attractif (art. 7355). Le premier augmente son efficacité, surtout vis-à-
vis des moustiques diurnes, le second vis-à-vis des moustiques nocturnes.
- Éteindre et débrancher le dispositif.
- Enlever la base du dispositif (FIG. 3-4)
- insérire l’élément attractif dans le logement spécial, placé à la base du dispositif. (FIG.5)
ENTRETIEN ET NETTOYAGE DU PIÈGE
Avant de procéder à toute opération d’entretien, il est nécessaire de débran-
cher le dispositif.
Enlever la base du dispositif et détacher les protections.
Nettoyer la grille électrifiée et toutes les autres parties du piège, en s’aidant d’un pinceau
sec.
Effectuer les opérations de nettoyage tous les 15 - 30 jours ou plus souvent si la grille
électrifiée est complètement couverte d’insectes.
ATTENTION ! POUR LE NETTOYAGE, NE PAS UTILISER DE L’EAU
INSERTION ET REMPLACEMENT DES BANDES COLLANTES
- Éteindre et débrancher le dispositif.
- Enlever la base du dispositif . (FIG 3-4)
- Insérer les bandes collantes dans les supports prévus à cet effet (FIG B) en orientant le
côté collant vers l’intérieur du dispositif. (FIG. 6)
- Repositionner les protections et allumer les DEL en prenant soin de désactiver la grille
électrifiée.
- Remplacer les bandes collantes quand elles sont complètement recouvertes d’insectes
et dans tous les cas tous les 30 jours au maximum.

CONSIGNES IMPORTANTES DE SÉCURITÉ
Enlever tout le matériel d’emballage et, pour éviter le risque d’étouffement, ne pas autoriser les enfants
d’y jouer.
L’appareil doit être utilisé exclusivement en intérieur ou à couvert des intempéries.
L’appareil n’est pas destiné à être utilisé par des personnes (enfants y compris) dont les capacités physi-
ques, sensorielles ou mentales sont réduites, ou bien ayant un manque d’expérience ou de connaissan-
ce, à moins que celles-ci aient pu bénéficier, à travers l’intermédiation d’une personne responsable de

date d’achat qui est attestée par un document valide du point de vue fiscal remis par le

Durant la période de garantie de 24 mois, Euroequipe s.r.l. s’engage à réparer ou rem-
placer gratuitement les pièces composant l’appareil reconnues comme défectueuses à
l’origine pour des vices de fabrication.
En cas de panne irréparable ou de panne récurrente de la même origine, l’appareil serait
remplacé
après avoir soumis la question à la décision du fabricant. La garantie sur le nouvel appa-
reil continuera jusqu’à la fin du contrat original.

rant son utilisation (non observance des instructions pour le fonctionnement de l’appareil),
