1.Removeassemblyscrewsfromthebaseofthermostat. Gentlypull theupperhousing straightoff the
base. Forcing orprying on thethermostatwill causedamagetotheunit. See figure1.
2. Connectwiresbeneathterminalscrewson thebaseusing appropriatewiring schematic. See figure2
3. Install twofresh “AA”alkalinebatteriesinbatterycompartment. Besuretomatchpositive(+)ends
ofbatterieswithpositive(+)batteryterminalsinthebatterycompartment. See figure3
4. Pushpowerbaseintowall.
5. Using mounting screwsmountthepowerbasetothewall. Place alevelagainstbottomofbase,
adjustuntil level, and thentightenscrews. (Leveling isforappearance onlyand will notaffect
thermostatoperation.)
6. Replace theupperhousing on thebaseand fix theupperhousing byremovedassemblyscrew

TheLCDdisplaysactualroomtemperatureuntil thesetting dialismoved.
Setting thetemperature
Turnsettingdialtorequiredtemperature.Theselectedtemperaturewill flash intheLCDtosignifyit is
showing the settemperature
Afterashortperiod thedisplaystopsflashing and shows actualroomtemperature.
Thermostatstatus(heatmodeonly)
Aflamesymbolwill belit wheneverthethermostatiscalling forheat
Thermostatstatus(coolmodeonly)
Asnowflakesymbolwill belit wheneverthethermostatiscallingforcooling.Ifthisisseentoflash,the
thermostatoutputisdelayedforashortperiod topreventcompressordamage.
Lowbattery indication
Abatterysymbolwill flashinthedisplaywhenbatteriesrequirereplacement.Batteriesshouldbereplaced
within15 days,afterwhichthethermostatwillturnoff theloadit iscontrolling.Whenthishappens “OF”will
bedisplayed.
Switchfunction
Thefunctionoftheswitchatthelowersideofthethermostathas2 options.Youcanselecttheoptionbysetting
thesecond dipinthedipgroup. See DILswitchsetting.
NSBsetting
ThisswitchisusedasDay/Nightswitch.
Whentheswitchissettothe “Sun Symbol”, thethermostatcontrolsatthetemperaturesetbythesetting dial.
Whensettothe “Moon symbol”, thethermostatcontrolsat4 belowthetemperaturesetbythesetting dial.
Note: ifusedtocontrolcooling, thermostatcontrols4 higher, withswitchinMoon position
