Countdown Timer Model TM-27
Thank you for purchasing the Non-contact type countdown timer model TM-27.
Read this manual thoroughly before using and keep it in a safe place for your future reference.
Features
This TM-27 timer does not have a start button. You can start the timer by only putting your hand over the sensor by
adopting Non-contact sensor. This timer is hygienic safety because without touching the unit can start it.

How to Use
Before use, remove the transparent tape put in the battery compartment for insulation.
Set the countdown time with the setting button (available between 5 to 90 sec. by 5 sec.)
(By pressings the setting button during countdown, the countdown runs down and the set time is displayed.
1) Put your hand over the sensor. Buzzer (Beep ---) sounds and the timer goes into countdown.
2) When zero is reached, “00”blinks in the display and buzzer (Beep---) sounds. When the sound stops,
display returns to the set time.
* If you put your hand over the sensor between buzzer sounds, buzzer and blink stop and the set time is displayed.
Mount
Desktop Use
Pull out the stand at the backside of the unit for table standing.
Wall-Mount Use
Fix the unit with the magnet at the backside on a metallic part. The attached mounting plate is applicable to mount the
timer to the walls and tiles.
The non-contact sensor may be abnormally charged due to the influence of static electricity or the like and may not
respond even if you put your hand over the sensor part, or it works for no action. In this case, leave it for about 2
minutes and adapt to the surrounding environment it will be normal operation.

Replacing Battery
When the batteries are insufficient, the following phenomenon occurs. Replace batteries immediately.
⚫The display dims.
⚫The volume of sound gets smaller or buzzer does not sound at all.
⚫Sensor does not work (the timer does not start even if put a hand over the sensor)
(1) Open the battery compartment lid.
(2) Remove the used batteries.
(3) Load new batteries with the right polarity (+ and -).
(4) Close the battery compartment lid.
·Always use new and the same type of batteries for a
battery replacement.
·The preset battery may not last long since it was installed
for a monitoring purpose.
·Do not dispose of exhausted batteries in a fire.
·For environmental conservation, dispose of used batteries in compliance with local rules and regulations.
Warnings
This model is not waterproof. Be sure to put the unit at the place never splashing water
Do not solder, short-circuit, disassemble, heat or fire a battery to avoid an exothermic heat, a leakage of battery fluid or
an explosion.
If the leaked fluid is spilt on your clothes or your skin, wash it off with water and if it gets into your eyes, wash it off
with clean water and seek a medical attention immediately.
Batteries pose a danger of suffocation or poisoning if swallowed. Keep batteries out of reach of children.
When disposing or storing a battery, seal the battery terminals with a tape to keep away from a direct contact with metals
and other batteries since the contact might cause an explosion or damage.
For environment conservation, dispose used batteries in compliance with local rules and regulations.
