• Themainssupplycablemusthaveaminimumcross
sectionalareaof1.0mm²
Existingfittingsmustbecompletelyremovedbefore
installationofanewproduct.Beforeremovingthe
existingfitting,carefully note the position of each set
of wires.
• Removethetopcoverbypushingintheretaining
clipswithaflatheadscrewdriver(Fig.1)
• Usingthetopcoverasatemplate,markthelocation
ofthefixingholes.Drillholesandfitsuppliedwall
plugs(suitableformasonryonly-forothersurfaces
useappropriatefixings).Fixproducttothewallusing
thesuppliedscrews.Takecaretoavoiddamaging
anyconcealedwiringandpipes.
• Feedtheincomingsupplycablethroughthecable
entryhole.
• Wireasdetailedbelow.
Installation
Wiring
Thisproductcanbewiredindifferentways,depending
onwhethernonmaintained/maintained/switched
maintainedwiringisrequired.
ToconfiguretheproductasaNon-maintainedfitting,
thesuppliedjumperloopmustberemovedandthelive
supplywiremustbeconnectedtooneofthepermanent
liveterminalsandtheneutralsupplywiretotheterminal
markedN.
1)Toconfiguretheproductasamaintainedfitting,
connectthesuppliedjumperloopbetweentheLandL
terminals.
2)Ifthemaintainedmodeneedstobeswitchablethen
thejumperisnotneededandaswitchedlivesupplywire
willneedtobeconnectedtotheLsterminalinstead.
Check that...
• Youhavecorrectlyidentifiedthewires.
• Theconnectionsaretight.
• Noloosestrandshavebeenleftoutoftheconnection
block.
