This manual will explain how to use the work light safely and effectively

and follow these instructions and precautions carefully.
IMPORTANT: Please read these instructions carefully. Note the safe operational
requirements, warning & cautions. Use the product correctly and with care for the purpose

1.1 SAVE THESE INSTRUCTIONS – This
manual contains important safety and
operating instructions.
1.2 Read, understand and follow all
instructions, cautions and warnings
listed in this manual. Failure to follow all
instructions and abide by all cautions and
warnings could result in personal injury,
injury to others and property damage.
1.3 IMPORTANT! CHARGE WORK LIGHT
IMMEDIATELY AFTER PURCHASE,
AFTER EACH USE, AND AT LEAST
EVERY 6 MONTHS.
1.4 DO NOT turn on the work light while it is
being charged.
1.5 DO NOT handle or move the work light
while it is being charged.
1.6 DO NOT cover or block the lens during use.
1.7 DO NOT look directly into the light or
shine the light directly into the eyes of any
person or animal.
1.8 DO NOT allow children to use the work light.
1.9 DO NOT operate the work light if it has
received a sharp blow, been dropped, or
otherwise damaged in any way; take it to
a qualied service person.
1.10 DO NOT leave the battery in a
discharged state.
1.11 WARNING! Do not use any other chargers
except the ones provided to charge
the internal battery. Use of a charger
not supplied by Schumacher®Electric
Corporation may result in a risk of re, injury
to persons and/or damage to property.
1.12 DO NOT use the work light with a charger
which has a damaged cord or plug,
replace the cord or plug immediately.
1.13 IMPORTANT! Make sure the voltage
marked on the charger plug is the same
as the work light.
1.14 To reduce the risk of damage to the
charger plug, pull by the plug, rather than
the cord when disconnecting the charger.
1.15 DO NOT use the provided charger to
charge or power any other electrical item.
1.16 DO NOT immerse the work light in water.
1.17 AC CHARGER FOR INDOOR USE ONLY.
DO NOT expose the AC charger to water
or use in damp conditions.
1.18 Ensure the work light is unplugged and
allowed to cool before attempting any
cleaning or replacement.
2. PERSONAL SAFETY PRECAUTIONS
WARNING! TO REDUCE THE RISK OF
BURNS OR FIRE, FOLLOW THESE
SAFETY PRECAUTIONS:
2.1 DO NOT open or disassemble the work
light; take it to a qualied service person
when service or repair is required. Incorrect
reassembly may result in a risk of re.
2.2 DO NOT crush, puncture, short external
contacts or dispose of in re or water.
2.3 DO NOT expose to temperatures above
140°F (60°C).
2.4 Replace the battery pack ONLY with one
designed for this product.
2.5 Recycle or dispose of the used battery
as required by local regulations. DO NOT
dispose of with household waste.
2.6 If the electrolyte in the cells gets on
your skin, wash thoroughly with soap
and water. If it gets into your eyes, rinse
thoroughly with cool water and seek
immediate medical attention.
2.7 This product contains a lithium ion
battery. In case of re, you may use
water, a foam extinguisher, Halon,
CO2, ABC dry chemical, powdered
graphite, copper powder or soda (sodium
carbonate) to extinguish the re. Once
the re is extinguished, douse the
product with water, an aqueous-based
extinguishing agent, or other nonalcoholic
liquids to cool the product and prevent the
battery from re-igniting. NEVER attempt
to pick up or move a hot, smoking, or
burning product, as you may be injured.

3. CHARGING
The battery tted to this lamp is
considered to be a consumable item and
its ability to accept a charge will reduce
over time. We will provide warranty
against mechanical and electrical defect
for a period of one year – this does not
cover fair wear and tear. If the battery
is not properly charged before rst use,
or regularly conditioned, its capacity will
diminish. Under these circumstances we
will not replace the battery regardless of
whether it is less than one year old.
Note: The lithium battery does not
suffer from memory effect and once
fully charged may be stored for up to six
months without another charge.
4. OPERATING INSTRUCTIONS
4.1 Remove connection cover located on
the rear of the light just below red on/
off button. Connect charging lead to
the socket in the back of light. Connect
charger to power supply, switch on power
supply. The battery will begin charging,
full charge will be reached
in approx. 4.5hrs. The three LED lights
show the state of charge of the battery
when the light is on. Switch off remove
charger and replace cover. (A USB port
is also position next to the charging
connection so that the battery can be
used as a powerbank.)
4.2 Direct the lens away from your eyes
before switching on.
4.3 Press on/off button once for low, twice for
medium and three times for high lumens
output.
4.4 The lamp can swivel through 360° and be
tilted.

5. MAINTENANCE INSTRUCTIONS

and disconnect cleaning

6. TROUBLESHOOTING

The work light does not
operate. The battery is not charged.

Recharge the battery to full
charge.
Have the battery replaced by
a qualied service technician.

PURCHASER OF THIS PRODUCT. THIS LIMITED WARRANTY IS NOT TRANSFERABLE OR

Schumacher Electric Corporation (the “Manufacturer”) warrants this work light for two (2) year from
the date of purchase at retail against defective material or workmanship that may occur under normal
use and care. If your unit is not free from defective material or workmanship, Manufacturer’s obligation
under this warranty is solely to repair or replace your product with a new or reconditioned unit at the
option of the Manufacturer. It is the obligation of the purchaser to forward the unit, along with proof of
purchase and mailing charges prepaid to the Manufacturer or its authorized representatives in order
for repair or replacement to occur.Manufacturer does not provide any warranty for any accessories
used with this product that are not manufactured by Schumacher Electric Corporation and approved
for use with this product. This Limited Warranty is void if the product is misused, subjected to careless
handling, repaired, or modied by anyone other than Manufacturer or if this unit is resold through an
unauthorized retailer. Manufacturer makes no other warranties, including, but not limited to, express,
implied or statutory warranties, including without limitation, any implied warranty of merchantability or
implied warranty of tness for a particular purpose. Further, Manufacturer shall not be liable for any
incidental, special or consequential damage claims incurred by purchasers, users or others associ-
ated with this product, including, but not limited to, lost prots, revenues, anticipated sales, business

Environmental Protection
Recycle unwanted materials instead of disposing of them as waste. All tools,
accessories and packaging should be sorted, taken to a recycling centre and
disposed of in a manner which is compatible with the environment. When the
product becomes completely unserviceable and requires disposal, drain off any
uids (if applicable) into approved containers and dispose of the product and the
uids according to local regulations.
WEEE Regulations
Dispose of this product at the end of its working life in compliance with the EU
Directive on Waste Electrical and Electronic Equipment (WEEE). When the product
is no longer required, it must be disposed of in an environmentally protective way.
Contact your local solid waste authority for recycling information.
Battery Removal
Remove the 6 hex screws on the back of the lamp. Remove the back casing
Remove the 4 screws holding circuit board and remove board. Remove 4 screws
holding battery housing remove battery cells and disconnect wires. Dispose of
according to local government guidelines.
