2. PRODUCT OVERVIEW
HANDLE
Carry the Sculpto anywhere, easily.
THREADED ROD
Controls the height of the printed objects.
BUILDPLATE
Rotable platform where the 3D object will
be printed.
FILAMENT GEAR COVER
Can be removed for maintaining the
Filament gear.
POWER INPUT
Insert power supply here.
ON/OFF SWITCH
Turns the Sculpto 3D printer on and off.

4. THE SCULPTO APP
* Please note that the web app does not support the 3D printer set-up.
* If you have more than one Sculpto 3D printer, please note that you need to create a unique account for each of your Sculpto
3D printers.

Download the Sculpto application via
Google Play or App Store. Search for
Sculpto. Sculpto also has a web app
accessible directly in the browser.*

You need to have an account to be able
to log in.
If you are a new member, click on Sign
up and follow the instructions in the
app.
If you already have an account, simply
enter your username (or email address)
and password and click on Log In.*
You can also log in with your facebook
account. Just click on the Login with
Facebook and the app will redirect to
your account for verification.

Click on the printer button in the menu below (3rd icon from the left).
Click on Connect Printer.
Follow the instructions in the app to enable the connection between the printer
and the app.
Select your home network from the drop down menu and enter your Wi-Fi
network password. Press Manual setup only if you can not find your home
network from the drop down menu.

5. CONNECT YOUR PRINTER
Press Connect and wait for the printer to connect to your home network. Once
connected, the printer will emit a constant light white/light blue color.*
* If the printer flashes yellow, the connection attempt has failed. Make sure your WiFi password is correct, go back to step 1 and
try again.

6. CALIBRATION

Press the Tools icon in the upper left corner in the printer menu.
Follow the instructions in the App carefully in order to complete the calibration.
The calibration is key to get great results.
Press Calibrate z-axis.

7. INSERT FILAMENT
Follow the instructions in the App carefully.
Wait until the nozzle reaches 190º C. It can take up to 90 seconds.
Assemple the filament holder t hat c omes w ith t he S culpto a nd p lace t he
filament on the filament holder near the printer but in a position that allows
the filament spool to run freely.
Press the Tools icon in the upper left corner in the printer menu and press
Change Filament.

Choose the type of filament you are placing. IMPORTANT! Choose the type of
filament based on how the see through plastic spools looks like.

If you want to Change filament simply follow Step 2 to 5.
If you want to simply remove the filament follow Step 2 to 4. When the app asks you to
insert filament in the hole, simply press “X” in the upper right corner of the dialogue box to
exit the “Change” filament process

Find your project and press it.
Read m ore a bout y our p roject, a djust t he advanced s ettings i f you want and
choose the part you want to print if necessary.
5When ready simply press print and confirm your presence by typing in the color
code the Sculpto shows.
8. START PRINTING
In the Home menu, login or create an account on Thingiverse and authorise the
Sculpto App by following the steps on the Thingiverse webpage in the App.
Browse b etween f eatured projects f rom the Home s creen or s earch between
+100.000 projects by searching for your favorite theme directly on the search bar.

9. PRINT YOUR OWN PROJECT

Press the Tools icon in the upper left corner in the printer menu and press Print
STL file.
Upload your file to the app from Dropbox or s imilar. Only STL fi les can be 3D
printed on Sculpto 3D p rinter. Uploading STL fi les directly from the web app
www.app.sculpto.dk is extremely easy and STL files can be uploaded directly from
the desktop.
View/edit your design by pressing Preview/Edit. Read more about the settings
options and choose your preferred options.

Constant: The printer is connected to the internet and is ready for use.
SCULPTO LED COLOR GUIDE
GLOSSARY
YELLOW
Flashing: The printer isn’t connected to a network.
BLUE
Pulsating: The printer is trying to connect to the router.
Constant: The printer is working.
PURPLE
Constant: The printer is receiving an update.
RED
Constant: Error. Get in touch with our customer service.
SUPPORT: A structure between the buildplate and objects printed in mid-air.
