1. SAFETY
1.1. ELECTRICAL SAFETY
WARNING! It is the responsibility of the owner and the operator to read, understand and comply with the following:
You must check all electrical products, before use, to ensure that they are safe. You must inspect power cables, plugs, sockets
and any other connectors for wear or damage. You must ensure that the risk of electric shock is minimised by the installation of
appropriate safety devices. A Residual Current Circuit Breaker (RCCB) should be incorporated in the main distribution board. You
must also read and understand the following instructions concerning electrical safety.
9Ensure that cables are always protected against short circuit and overload.
9Regularly inspect power supply cables and plugs for wear or damage and check all connections
to ensure that none are loose.
9Ensure that the voltage marked on the appliance matches the power supply to be
usedandthattheplugisttedwiththecorrectfuse-seefuseratingatright.
8DO NOT use worn or damaged cables, plugs or connectors. Have any faulty item repaired or
replaced immediately by a competent electrician.
9It is recommended that this device is wired directly to a fused isolator switch. If, however, a plug
istted,thefollowingapplies:
9Fit a new plug according to the following instructions (UK only).
a) Connect the GREEN/YELLOW earth wire to the earth terminal ‘E’.
b) Connect the BROWN live wire to the live terminal ‘L’.
c) Connect the BLUE neutral wire to the neutral terminal ‘N’.
d) After wiring, check that there are no bare wires, that all wires have been correctly connected,
that the cable restraint is tight.

8DO NOToperatethedehumidierwhenyouaretiredorundertheinuenceofalcohol,drugsorintoxicatingmedication.
8DO NOTswitchthedehumidierobydisconnectingitfromthemains.ALWAYSswitchtothe“OFF”positionrst.
8DO NOTremovetheoatleverfromthewatercollectiontank.
8DO NOT connect or disconnect the plug from the mains with wet hands.
9Always discard the water from the collection tank, DO NOT use it for any other purpose.
9 Placethedehumidieronalevelandstablesurface.

8DO NOT use means to accelerate the defrosting process or to clean, other than those recommended by the manufacturer.

appliance or an operating electric heater.
8DO NOT pierce or burn.
9Be aware that refrigerants may not contain an odour.
9When using continuous draining, make sure that the drain hose is positioned correctly.

9 Beforeattemptingtomovethedehumidier,emptythecontentsofthecollectiontank.
9 Switchoanddisconnectitfromthemainsbeforeattemptinganycleaningorothermaintenancework.
9 Ensurethatthedehumidieriscorrectlyturnedowhennotinuse,andstoredinasafe,dryarea,outofreachofchildren.
Thisappliancecanbeusedbychildrenagedfrom8yearsandaboveandpersonswithreducedphysical,sensoryormental
capabilitiesorlackofexperienceorknowledgeiftheyhavebeengivensupervisionorinstructionconcerninguseoftheappliancein
a safe way and understand the hazards involved. Children shall not play with the appliance. Cleaning and user maintenance shall
not be made by children without supervision.

4. ASSEMBLY
4.1. HANDLE INSTALLATION:Aligntheholesinthetubularhandlewiththeholesontherearfaceoftheunitandxinplaceusingthe4
supplied screws.
NOTE: Once assembled, DO NOT use for 2 hours.
5. OPERATION
5.1. WASTE MANAGEMENT
5.1.1. CONTINUOUS DRAINAGE. Place the attached drain hose into a suitable receptacle/drain ensuring that the end of the hose is
below the level of the outlet in the unit body.
5.2. FUNCTION DESCRIPTION
5.3. HUMIDITY CONTROL
5.3.1. Whentheroomshumidityvalueis3%lowerthanthesethumidityonthemachine,thecompressorwillshutdown,thefanwilldelay
for3minutesandshutdown;andwhenit’s3%higherthanthehumidityvaluesetonthemachine,boththefanandcompressorwill
operate.
5.3.2. When the humidity is set at the minimum value, the machines default is to enter the continuous dehumidifying mode.
5.3.3. When started, the compressor will start 3 seconds later and when it’s shut down, the fan will run for 3 seconds.
5.3.4. Upon fault of the humidity sensor, it turns to the continuous dehumidifying mode.
5.3.5. Uponfaultofthecoilsensor,itturnstothetimingdefrostingmode(Seethedefrostingmode).
5.4. PROTECTION FUNCTION
5.4.1. Onceshutdown,thecompressorwilltake3minutestostart.Quickstartisavailablefortherstpower-on.
5.4.2. Power o memory: For abrupt power outage or accidental unplugging, the system will automatically return to the operating state right
beforethe‘incident’,andcontinueatthatstateforthenextpower-on.

6. TROUBLESHOOTING
6.1. Uponfaultofthedehumidier,pleasecutothepowersupplyimmediately,unplugtheplugandcheckthefollowingitems:

thedehumidier,contactSealeyforrepairs.
6.3. It’snormaltohearthesoundofthecirculationofrefrigerantwhenthedehumidierruns.
6.4. It’s normal for the air vent to blow warm air.
6.5. INFORMATION FOR THE USER:
6.5.1. Asaprecisionpart,thehumiditysensormaybedamagedwhenusedinenvironmentlledwithstrongcorrosivegasandheavydust.
6.5.2. Asthedehumidierisnon-resistantagainstexplosion,it’sforbiddentobeusedinenvironmentofspecialrequirementssuchasthat
lledwithcombustible/explosivegas,dust,chemicalsorbiologicalproducts.
6.5.3. Damagecausedtothedehumidierbyuseinsaidenvironmentwillvoidthewarranty.
6.5.4. As water may be discharged from the machine after a certain amount of use, attention shall be paid to managing this water.
6.5.5. Tominimizefaultsandmaximizethelifetime,pressthebuttonsgently.
6.5.6. Thedeviationbetweenthehumidityshownonthesensorandtheactualhumidityisnormal,duetoimpactbythelocation,environment
and temperature.
6.5.7. Sincethecooledairisdriedbythecondenserbeforebeingdischargedduringoperationofthedehumidier,it’snormalfortheair
dischargedtobehotterthantheenvironment.Withdrawandcleanairlterwithdryandcleanclothregularly.
6.5.8. Sincethedehumidifyingeectisassociatedwiththetemperatureandhumidityoftheenvironment,thehigherthetemperature
andhumidityoftheenvironment,normallythegreaterthedehumidifyingeect;whilethelowerthetemperatureandhumidityofthe
environment,typicallythelowerthedehumidifyingeect.
