※Howtousetheautomaticmechanicalwatch(9S51・9S55・9S56)
Thisisanautomaticmechanicalwatchwithmanualwindingmechanism.
・Ifthewatchiswornonthewrist,themainspringwillbewoundautomatically
throughnormalwristmovement.
Itcanalsobewoundupbyturningthecrown.
・Tostartthewatchafteritstopscompletely,winditupeitherbyturningthe
crownorswingingitfromsidetosideuntilthesecondhandstartsmoving.
Then,setthetimeanddatebeforewearingthewatchonthewrist.

・Towindupthewatchbyturningthecrown,turnitclockwiseslowly.The
watchcannotbewoundbyturningthecrowncounterclockwise.
About40turnsofthecrownwillwindupthewatchfully.Pleasenotethatthe
crowncanbeturnedevenafterthewatchiswoundupfully.
・Oncethewatchiswoundupfully,itoperatesforabout50hours.(Ifthewatch
isusedwithoutbeingwoundupfully,gainorlossoftimemayresult.Toavoid
this,wearthewatchformorethan10hoursaday.)Ifthewatchisused
withoutwearingonthewrist;ifitisusedonthedesk,forexample:besure
towinditupfullyeverydayatafixedtime.

Pushthecrownbackintothenormal
positioninaccordancewithatimesignal
for"00"seconds.Thesecondhandwill
startmovingimmediately.
Ifthecrownisofthescrewlocktype,
screwitincompletelybyturningit
clockwisewhilepressingit.

secondhandisatthe12o'clockposition.
Thesecondhandwillstop onthespot.Advancethehour andminutehandsuntilthe
desireddateappears.ThetimeisnowsetfortheA.M.period.Keepadvancingthe
handsuntilthecorrecttime.
※Themechanismofthemechanicalwatchisdifferentfromthatofthequartzone.Tosetthetime
accurately,firstturntheminutehand4to5minutesbehindthedesiredtimeandthenadvance
ittothecorrecttime.

Ifthecrownisofthescrewlocktype, screwitin
completelybyturningitclockwisewhilepressing
it.

seconds.Thesecondhandwill
startmovingimmediately.

type, screwitincompletelyby
turning it clockwise while
pressingit.

Timedifferenceadjustmentenablesyoutoadjustthehourhandonlyinone-hourincrementsby
easyoperationwithoutstoppingtheminuteandsecondhands.Itisconvenientwhenadjustingthe
timebasedonadifferenttimezonewhileyoutravelabroad.

●Beforemaking thetime differenceadjustment,itisnecessarytoobtainthetime differences
betweenthetwoareas.
