EXPLOSION PROOF/ DUST IGNITION PROOF TYPE LED LIGHTING
Thank you very much for purchasing our EXPLOSION PROOF / DUST IGNITION PROOF TYPE LED
The product should be mounted properly according to the instruction manual, on a surface robust enough to
support its weight.
Improper installation might cause fall of the product, an electric shock or injury.
WARNING
The type of protection of this product is as follows:
The product of 14W*2 should be used within an ambient temperature range of -20ºC to +55ºC.
The product of 15.5W*2should be used within an ambient temperature range of -20ºC to +40ºC.
If the ambient temperature is out of the range, an explosion or fire might result.
Usable in hazardous areas of zone 1 , zone 2 , zone 21 and zone 22 where there is explosive atmospheres.
The product should be of the flameproof type suitable for each hazardous area.
Use of an unsuitable product might cause an explosion or fire.
For electrical connection, be sure to connect the wires in the terminal box securely using crimp-type
terminals, etc. and conduct insulation treatment. An inadequate connection or inadequate insulation might
cause a contact failure, leading to an explosion, fire or electric shock.

The non-metallic coating is painted on the surface of the product and the non-metallic label is attached on
the surface of the product, electrostatic charge may cause an explosion hazard. Avoid any actions that cause
the generation of electrostatic charge, such as rubbing with a dry cloth on coating surface of the product.
Don’t cover the product with an inflammable material such as cloth or paper nor put anything in the product.
Such a material or thing might cause an explosion or fire.
For outdoor use, waterproof the screw connections and the entries of the terminal box to prevent rainwater
infiltration. For the stanchion type, waterproof the screw connections of the stand pole to prevent rainwater
infiltration. Inadequate waterproofing might cause a fire or electric shock.
Don’t open or loosen any part unless necessary. Confirm that the screws, bolts and the like are fastened
tightly. A loose part might cause an explosion, fall, fire or electric shock.
Prior to maintenance or inspection, be sure to turn off the power and wait at least ten minutes before opening
the enclosure. An explosion, fire or electric shock might result.
If you continue to use the product in an abnormal condition (smoke, odor, etc.), an explosion, fire or electric
shock might result. If you detect an abnormality, immediately turn off the power switch. Confirm that the
abnormal condition has been eliminated and have it repaired by a specialist.
The components once removed for cleaning or maintenance should be replaced properly according to the
instruction manual. An incorrectly placed component might cause an explosion or fall, resulting in an injury or
property damage.
WARNING
When leading the power cable into the product, be sure to follow the technical standards for electrical
equipment and the guide for the explosion protection of factory electrical equipment. Inadequate cable
connection or poor waterproofing might cause an explosion, fire or electric shock.
In grounding work, follow the technical standards for electrical equipment and the guide for the explosion
protection of factory electrical equipment. Inadequate grounding might cause an explosion, fire or electric
shock.
Don’t convert the product.
Conversion might cause fall of the product, an explosion, fire or electric shock.
CAUTION
To ensure brightness and safety, carry out cleaning and inspection periodically. (If the product is using in
explosive dust area, regular dust cleaning must be done but don't clean the surface by air gun. )
If you find a problem, stop using he product and have it repaired by a specialist.
Never touch the lamp and its surroundings while it is on or just after it is turned off.
The lamp and its surroundings are very hot. An accidental touch might burn yourself.
Don’t use the product at a voltage other than the voltage indicated on the nameplate. The voltage variation
should be within ±6% of the rating. Otherwise a damage, fire or electric shock might result.
Don’t use the product at a frequency other than the local power supply frequency (50 or 60 Hz).
A wrong frequency might cause a fire.
The product should be installed by a qualified person.
Installation by an unqualified person is legally prohibited.
Because this product is painted non-metallic coating , please refer to the note below.

(1) The electrical characteristics of the product are as follows:

■ The LEDs are turned on by applying the rated voltage to the power line of the product.
■Install the product properly following the instruction manual.
(1) Attach the lighting fitting on the mounting
surface firmly in using M6 bolts at 4 places.
PS:Around the NPT3/4 entry, cable is covered by
wrapping film. Please
remove it before
installation.

According to the left figure, it should be
grounded the external ground reliably by using
attached crimp terminal.
(5) Close the cap in the reverse order to removal.
When closing the cap, check that there is no gap

<LED lamp exchange method>
Be sure to turn off the power before starting
After opening the cap, disconnect connectors and
pull out the LED mounting plate. And rotate the
LED lamp tube to exchange. Please install the
LED lamp by showing the logo of Philips.

(2) After loosen the set screw, open the cap in using
accessory special tool.
(3) Remove three connecters. Install power wires
and earthing wire and set connecters to original
position.
Disconnect connectors
<In case of changing the inclination>.
Be sure to turn off the power before starting.
After removing the cap, disconnect the connectors. Disconnect
the cable from the terminal. Loosen the cable gland and make
sure the lighting is movable.Remove the mounting bracket on
the other side of the hinge from the ceiling. Tilt the lighting until
it is long enough to pull out the lamp as shown on the right. For
safety, support and tilt the lighting.

(1) In cleaning the fitting, gently wipe with water or mild detergent. Don’t use thinner, benzene or alkaline detergent.
Such chemicals might cause discoloration or deterioration in quality and strength, resulting in a damage.
(2) Prior to maintenance, be sure to turn off the power.
(3) Conduct inspection properly referring to the table below.
(4) If a repair is needed, consult us.

1. Prior to installation, be sure to turnoff the power.
2.Confirm that the screws and bolts are fastened properly and tightly.
3. When installing the fitting,be sure to connect external wires inside a specified part of the fitting. Don’t open any other part.
4.The supply voltage variation should be within±6%of the rating.
5.The lighting fitting must be used in a location where it can be used safely according to its flameproof protection type(indicated on the
body).
6.Be sure to use certified Ex components to plug the entries of the terminal box which are not used.
7.For the cable gland,be sure to use a certified Ex component.
8.Be sure to use Ex component certified products and cables which are suitable for the operating temperature range,referring to the
following.
Plug:-20°℃to+85℃Cable gland:-20℃to+85℃Cables:-20°C to+85°℃
9.Confirm that the fitting is adequately grounded.
10.Prior to maintenance or inspection,be sure to turnoff the power.
11.Don't use the product in a corrosive gas atmosphere which contains hydrochloric acid, high-concentration chlorine gas
or the like.
12.To prevent shortening of the service life,avoid turning on the fitting indirect sunlight.
13.To avoid noise or malfunctioning, don't use a radio,television or wireless infrared remotecontrol near the fitting.
14.After turning off the power,wait atleast ten minutes before opening the main body. An explosion might result.
15.The product must be mounted on a sturdy wall or structure which is virtually vibration-free and less susceptible to damage.
Otherwise, it might fall or be damaged.
16.Locking bolts of strength class A 2-50 are used on the main body. Never remove them. A fire,electric shock or explosion might result.
17.Repair of the flame path is not intended in the special condition of safe use in the instruction manual.
18.The purchaser should make the manufacturer aware of any External effects or Aggressive substances that the equipment maybe
exposed to.
19.Don’t move the product only holding the guard, please move it carefuuly.
