3. Malfunction Repair Methods
3.1 Disassembly / assembly procedure
< Caution >
* When disassembling the device, be sure that the power switch is turned off and all batteries are
removed before starting.
* Do not touch the printed circuit boards used in the device with bare hands since unclean parts are
used. Wear clean gloves when handling.
3.1.1 Removal of JR10-122 Main Frame Cover / R Assy
a) Remove JH10-123 Battery cover assembly. (ZA348 6pcs.)
b) Remove the 7 screws securing the back cover in place. (ZA348 7pcs.)
* The screw tightening torque is to be 10~14c*N*m（9.8~13.7kg*cm）

soldering iron.

* When screwed the Main Frame Cover / R Assy(JR10-122) , make sure that there is no deformation
of the wire bundle and biting.

the JR10-129 LCD Assy.
d) To unlock the connector on the JR10-901(JR20-901)PCB / 1 Assy and remove the Flexible Cable of
the JR10-123 Wire Harness / D Fold Assy.
e) Remove the 2 screws securing the JR10-901(JR20-901)PCB / 1 Assy in place. (ZA348 2pcs.)

f) Remove the 2 screws securing the JR10-124 PCB Holder Part Assy (2pcs.) in place.

g) Lift and remove the JR10-901(JR20-901) PCB / 1 Assy
*A little floating the substrate and shifted slightly to the left.
Out of the hole in the Main Frame Cover / F Assy of the USB connector cover, and then lift to remove
the PCB / 1 Assy.
Cautions during assembly
・
The screw tightening torque is to be 7～9cNm(6.9～8.8kgcm) (ZA348:M1.7×6 5pcs)
・When you set a PCB / 1 Assembly (JR10-901 / JR20-901) to a main part Main Frame Cover / F
Assembly (JR10-121 / JR20-121), be careful of a USB connector.
・When you attach FPC of Wire Harness / D Fold assembly (JR10-123) and a LCD Assembly
(JR10-129) main part, please show to spite and lock to the back of each connector of PCB / 1
Assembly (JR10-901 /JR20-901) of substrate.
・It attaches so that the projection at the tip of the LCD Holder Stay Assembly may go into the hole of
the angle of LCD. (Refer to the following figure)

portion of the nail of a PCB / 3 Assembly(JR10-903) of battery case is removed, and a PCB / 3

・When attaching a PCB / 3 Assembly, it is cautious of the four following points, and is a screw stop.
1)Wire Harness / 1 (JR109001:white), and Wire Harness / 2 (JR109002:blue) are twisted 6 times.
2)Wiring of Wire Harness / 1 , and Wire Harness / 2 lets between the ribs of a PCB / 3 Assembly of
battery case pass through between two ribs of a Main Frame Cover / F Assembly.
3)It attaches so that a PCB / 3 Assembly of substrate may come below the convex part of a power
switch.
4)The side of a Main Frame Cover / F Assembly is extended, and the portion of the nail of a PCB / 3
Assembly of battery case is hooked.
・If the screw stop of the PCB / 3 Assembly (JR10-903) is carried out, please check a bite lump of Wire
Harness / 1 (JR109001:white) and Wire Harness / 2 (JR109002:blue) and a feeling of a click of a
power button.
1)It twists 6 times.

*It checks that clean the surface of LCD Assembly (JR10-129) in alcohol and garbage has not
adhered.

3.2 Methods for Device Repair, Adjustment, etc.
3.2.1 JR10-616 Optics Assembly / 1 (lumisphere) related malfunctions. (Foundations are unit
exchange).
In the event of lens movement malfunctions, such as not moving vertically or catching, disassemble
the relevant component while referring to the structural diagram, confirm part damage, deformation or
the presence of foreign matter (dust, etc.), replace any parts that are damaged or deformed,

・ZA356 : The screw tightening torque is to be 3～5cNm (2.9～4.9kgcm)
*A screw lock (Three Bond 1401B) is applied at the tip of a screw.
・JR106106 : The screw tightening torque is to be 3～5cNm (2.9～4.9kgcm)
*A screw lock (Three Bond 1401B) is applied at the tip of a screw.
・When you attach a Cam Case Assembly (JR10-617) to a Optics Guide Case Assembly (JR10-618),
be careful of fall of a steel ball (ZT20 : 2 mm).
*A steel ball will become difficult to fall if silicon grease (G501) is applied to a steel ball.
・When you attach a Cam Case Assembly (JR10-617) to a Optics Guide Case Assembly (JR10-618) ,
be careful in the attachment direction.
・Please apply silicon grease (G501) to the slot (2pcs) of a Optics Guide Case Assembly (JR10-618) .
