Actual effective range will vary with network conditions and environmental factors
including volume of network traffic, radio interference, building materials and
construction, and network overhead. A maximum range of 60 to 100 feet is
recommended between the Pulse Link and the Satellite bulb for optimal wireless
transmission and audio quality.

INSTALLATION INSTRUCTIONS
WARNING - TO REDUCE THE RISK OF FIRE AND ELECTRIC SHOCK, USE IN DRY

WARNING - TO REDUCE THE RISK OF ELECTRIC SHOCK, DO NOT REMOVE THE BACK
COVER OR TAKE APART. THERE ARE NO SERVICEABLE PARTS INSIDE.
1. Before installing the Pulse Satellite bulb into a light bulb socket (E26), turn the
light switch to the OFF position. (DO NOT USE WITH EXTERNAL OR OUTSIDE
DIMMERS).
2. Screw the bulb into asocket (E26) and turn the power on. The LED light will turn
on.
NOTICE: The stereo sound effect is affected by the installation position in the
lighting fixture, the distance between Pulse Link and Satellite bulbs, and the
room space etc., to achieve the best stereo sound effect, please make sure the
LED plastic cover is at the same level of the lighting fixtures (in Horizontal), and a
distance around one to three meters between bulbs is recommended.
3. Plug in Pulse Link near Satellite bulbs. Power on Pulse Link, connect it with any
device (e.g. TV, MP3, smartphone, tablet, or computer) which has a 3.5mm aux
output via a 3.5mm Aux cable for audio output through Satellite bulbs. Or go to
step 4 to connect Pulse Link via Bluetooth for wireless audio controlling.
4. On the portable smart device (e.g. smartphone, tablet, or computer), make sure
Bluetooth is turned on. Then via Bluetooth, connect the smart device with the
Pulse Link. The default Pulse Link’s Bluetooth ID is ‘C01-BR30’. Once connected,
user can launch any media App on the smart device to enjoy music via the Pulse
light speakers. Or go to Step 5 to download and install Pulse mobile App for
greater control of the light and speakers.
5. Search for the 'Pulse by Sengled' or 'Sengled pulse' App for corresponding
operating system, download and install it on a portable smart device:
Get App from Google Play Store for Android Devices;
Get App from App Store for Apple iOS Devices. Compatible with iPhone 6s Plus,
iPhone 6s , iPhone 6 Plus, iPhone 6 ,iPhone 5s, iPhone 5c, iPhone 5, iPhone 4s,
iPad Air, iPad mini with Retina display, iPad (4th generation), iPod touch (5th
generation).

6. Open the Pulse application, and a 'Welcome' page appears. Select Pulse Link and
the Pulse App will search and connect to the Pulse Link automatically. The wizard
guides you through the steps for connecting your portable smart device to the
Pulse Link. If the application doesn't detect the Pulse Link, restart the application
and setup wizard again.
7. Once the portable device has been successfully connected to the Pulse Link, the
application will display the main control screen. Press the 'Lights' or 'Sounds' tab
to switch between them and achieve different functions, such as Light Brightness
& Settings, Sound Volume & Settings, and Equalizer (EQ) Settings etc.
To add a new Satellite bulb to the Pulse Link
1. Successfully configure Pulse Link (C01-BR30) and the current Satellite bulbs
before installing a new Satellite bulb.
2. On your smart device, turn on Bluetooth and connect to the Pulse Link.
3. Install the new Satellite bulb in the proper light socket.
4. Turn on the new Satellite bulb.
5. Launch the Pulse App on your device
6. Select one of two methods to add the Pulse Satellite bulb to the Pulse Link
network:
i. Select “Scan QR code” to automatically scan the network, or
ii. Manually type the Satellite bulb “AD Code”.
NOTE: The AD code in QR format is labeled in two locations: The bottom side
of the Satellite packaging (near the bar code) and on the Satellite bulb itself.
7. Once the scanning has been successful, select the “Link” option. The Satellite
bulb will connect with the Pulse Link after approximately 30 seconds. Do not
turn off power during the connection.
8. The Satellite bulb should begin to blink, indicating that it has successfully
connected with the Pulse Link. The user can now enjoy a high-quality audio
system, as desired.
To delete a connected Satellite bulb from the Pulse Link
1. Ensure that the Pulse Link and Pulse Satellite bulbs are powered on and
paired with your smart device via Bluetooth.
2. Launch the Pulse App.
3. Simply switch the Main Brightness ON/OFF button to confirm that all Pulse
bulbs are connected under the same Pulse Link.
4. Select the “Devices Management” tab in the Settings menu.
5. Select the Satellite bulb that you want to remove from the Pulse Link Network,
click Delete/Close button.
6. A delete confirmation will appear on the screen, click “OK” to continue.
7. Wait for approximately 30 seconds. Do not power off the devices during this

process
8. Click the “Refresh” tab in the Settings menu to confirm the device has been
removed

Do NOT use this product outdoors.

Do not install the product near any heat sources, such as heater, radiators,
stove, heat registers or other apparatus that produce heat.
Ensure that the product is stable and secured in place during installation. If the
product is dropped or falls out of the power socket, it may cause bodily harm.
If the product is dropped or falls out of the power socket, it may be damaged.
Please check the product for any visible damage.
To reduce the risk of electric shock, do NOT remove the back cover or take
apart. There are no serviceable parts inside.
To prevent product failure, the product should only be installed in operating
environments ranging between -4 degrees Fahrenheit and +104 degrees
Fahrenheit (-20degrees Celsius and +40 degrees Celsius).
Never push any objects into the openings or slots on the product. Doing so may
create an electric shock or fire hazard.
Maintain sufficient distance around your product for sufficient ventilation;
For best protection against lightning, unscrew the product from its power
source during a storm.
Only use accessories specifically recommended by the manufacturer.
Refer all servicing to qualified Sengled service technician.
Servicing is required when the product:
1. Has been damaged in any way
2. Liquid has been spilled on the product
3. Objects have fallen into the product
4. The product has been exposed to rain or moisture
5. The product does not operate normally, or has been dropped
Repairs must be performed by a qualified Sengled technician.
The product can be hot and should not be touched without taking care.
