damage results from improper use, or if
these instructions are not complied with.
●This appliance is intended for domestic
use only and not for commercial

Short-time operation
The appliance has been designed for short-
term operation only, i.e. it should not be
operated continuously for more than 5
minutes. Switch off the appliance afterwards
and allow the motor to cool down before
switching it on again.
Start up
Before the juicer is used for the first time, it
must be cleaned as described in the section
General Cleaning and Care.
Operation
-
Attach the juice container to the drive
shaft of the base unit. Turn the container
clock-wise until it locks into place.
-
Fit the small juicing cone onto the pulp
sieve; then attach the sieve to the juice

container in such a way that the sieve
handle is positioned above the container
handle.
-
When processing larger citrus fruits such
as oranges, the large juicing cone can be
fitted over the smaller one. The two
recesses in the large juicing cone must be
exactly aligned with the two
corresponding lateral protrusions on the
smaller cone.
-
Insert the plug into a suitable wall socket.
-
Cut the citrus fruit in half and push one
of the halves lightly down onto the cone
with the cut section facing downwards.
-
The drive shaft will start rotating
automatically once pressure is applied to
the cone. The appliance switches off
when pressure on the cone is lifted.
-
The motor can rotate in either direction
and may also change direction during
operation.
-
When processing larger quantities of
fruit, the pulp sieve must be emptied
from time to time as necessary.
-
Always remove the plug from the wall
socket before pouring out the juice.
-
To pour out the extracted juice, remove
the pulp sieve from the juice container,
then unlock the juice container from the
base unit by turning the container in an
anti-clockwise direction.
General Cleaning and Care
●Before cleaning the appliance, remove
the plug from the wall socket.
●To avoid the risk of electric shock, do not
clean the base unit or power cord with
water, and do not immerse them in
water.
●Do not use abrasives, harsh cleaning
solutions or hard brushes for cleaning.
-
The base unit may be wiped with a
slightly damp, lint-free cloth.
-
The attachment parts should be
thoroughly cleaned immediately after
processing, using hot water and a mild
detergent. Do not clean the attachment
parts in a dish-washer.
-
For periods of non-use, attach the pulp
sieve and the dust cover to the appliance
after cleaning.
Power cord storage
The power cord may be wound round the
appliance during periods of non-use.
