めに、定期的※にプラズマクラスターイオン発生ユニットを交換し
ていただく必要があります。
•DC12V バッテリー使用の一般乗用車に対応しています。
DC24V バッテリー使用車 ( バス、トラックなど ) には使用でき
ません。
•※1日24時間運転した場合、約 2 年間 ( 約 17,500 時間 ) です。
  約2年2カ月(約19,000 時間 ) 経過すると、運転が停止します。

安全上のご注意
必ずご使用前にお読みいただきお守りください。
警 告 : 感電や漏電、発火などによる事故やけがを防ぐ
人への危害、財産への損害を防ぐため、お守りいただくことを説明しています。
• 運転しながらスイッチ操作をしない。( 運転を誤り、思わぬ事故の原因 )
• 前方の視界を妨げる場所や、運転操作を妨げる場所、同乗者に危険を及ぼす場所には
設置しない。( 事故やけがの原因 )
• 直射日光が当たる場所に置かない。( 変形や故障の原因 )
• 12V 車専用ですのでそれ以外で使用しない。大型トラックやバスなどの 24V 車で使
用しないでください。( 火災・感電の原因 )
• コードを傷付けたり、加工しない。また、傷付いたコードは使用しない。
 ( 傷付いたところがショートし、コードを溶かし、火災の原因 )
 傷が付いた場合は相談窓口にご相談ください。
• シガープラグ・本体接続用プラグを抜くときは、コードを引っ張らない。
 ( コードが傷付き、火災・感電の原因 )
• 濡れた手でシガープラグ・本体接続用プラグを抜き差ししない。( 感電の原因 )
• 持ち運ぶときは、落としたり、衝撃を与えない。( けが・故障の原因 )
 万一、本製品を落としたり破損した場合は、相談窓口にご相談ください。
そのまま使用すると、火災・感電の原因になります。
• 改造はしない。また、修理技術者以外の人は分解したり、修理したりしない。( 火 災・感 電・
けがの原因 )
 修理は相談窓口にご相談ください。
• 吹出口や吸込口から内部に飲料水、たばこの灰、金属類や燃えやすいものなどを落と
しこんだりしない。
 とくにご家庭に小さなお子様がおられる場合は、注意してください。万一、内部に水
や異物が入った場合は、シガープラグを、シガーライターソケットから抜く。( そのま
ま使用すると、火災・感電の原因 )
 相談窓口にご相談ください。
• 油類、アルコール、ベンジン、シンナーで拭いたり、ヘアスプレー、殺虫剤をかけない。
付着した場合は、すみやかに拭き取る。( ひび割れ・感電・引火のおそれ )
• 温風暖房機の吹出口の近くなど、暖房機器の近くに置かない。（本体の変形や故障の原因）
• カーアダプターは専用のものを使用し、シガープラグが奥に確実に突き当たるまで差
し込む。( シガープラグが奥に突き当たっていない場合、発熱し、シガーライターソケッ
トのまわりを変形させるばかりでなく、火災のおそれ )
• ヒューズが切れた場合は、必ず2.5Aガラス管ヒューズ(市販)と交換する。絶対にヒュー
ズの代わりに針金などは使用しない。( 指定ヒューズ以外のものを使用しますと発熱し、
火災のおそれ )
• お手入れの際は、必ずシガープラグをシガーライターソケットから抜く。( 感電・けが
の原因 )
• 長期間ご使用にならない場合は、必ずシガープラグをシガーライターソケットから抜
く。( 絶縁劣化による感電・漏電火災の原因 )
• 灰皿とシガーライターソケットが一体型の場合、灰皿の火が確実に消えた上で使用す
る。車両を離れるときはシガープラグを抜いて、灰皿のふたを閉じる。( タバコの残り
火による火災のおそれ )

せる。機械内部に薬剤成分が蓄積し、その後吹出口から放出されて、健康によくない
ことがあります。
•本体がカップホルダーから飛び出すおそれのある場合 ( 悪路、段差など ) は、スピー
ドをゆるめるか、本体をカップホルダーから取りはずしてください。( けがや本体の
故障のおそれ )
•プラズマクラスターイオン発生機の近くでは、フッ素樹脂やシリコーンを配合した化
粧品など(※)は使わない。
 本体内部にフッ素樹脂やシリコーンが付着し、プラズマクラスターイオンが発生しな
くなることがあります。その場合、プラズマクラスター発生ユニットの交換が必要と
なります。(J-9ページ)
※ヘアケア商品( 枝毛コート液・ヘアームース・ヘアートリートメントなど )、化粧品、制汗剤、
静電気防止剤、防水スプレー、つや出し剤、ガラスクリーナー、化学ぞうきん、ワックスなど。

カーアダプター取り回し時のご注意
•シートレール、チェンジレバー ( シフトレバー ) 等、可動部分にふれたり、
はさみ込まないようにしてください。
•運転者のじゃまにならないように取り回してください。
•座席の前後の移動、回転またはリクライニングの動きを考慮して取り回し
てください。
•コードを極端に折り曲げたり、圧迫しないようにする。
設置時のご注意
•必ず安定した場所に置いてください。( 市販のカップホルダーなど不安定
な場所には置かないでください )
•吸込口・吹出口をふさがないでください。
•本体と車両の電子キーとは 30cm 以上離してください。本体の電波と干
渉し、電子キーを認識しない場合があります。
•本体と車両のガラスアンテナとは離してください。ラジオにノイズが入る
場合があります。
•テレビやラジオにノイズが入ったり、電波時計が正しく時刻表示しないと
きは、テレビ・ラジオ・電波時計などから本体を離してください。
•カーエアコンの吹出口のすぐ前に設置される場合、暖房時は本体が熱くな
る場合があります。
•車の振動などで本体が傷付く場合があります。

本体の運転中に車のエンジンを切って運転が停止した後に、再び車のエンジ
ンをかけると停止したときと同じ運転モードで運転を再開します。
•車両のキーを抜いた状態または、エンジンスイッチが OFF 状態でも本体が
運転している場合は、バッテリー上がり防止のため、シガープラグを抜いて
ください。

カーエアコンを使うと送風により効果的に高濃度プラズマクラスターイオンが行
き届きます。

お手入れ
本 体 1 カ月に 1 回程度
<汚れが落ちにくいとき >台所用合成洗剤を薄めた液に浸した布を固くしぼって、
拭いてください。その後、洗剤が残らないように、よ
く拭き取ってください。
フィルター（吸込口）
1 週間に 1 回程度
柔らかい布で拭き取る。
イオン濃度を維持するためには、フィルターのこまめなお手入れが必要です。
お使いになる環境によってフィルターの汚れ度合いが異なりますので、フィルターお
手入れランプが点灯していなくても、1 週間に 1 回程度またはフィルターがほこり
で目詰まりしたら、フィルターのお手入れをしてください。

• While IG-15TX1 can remove suspended viruses and other
contaminants, it cannot create a completely sterile environment.
SHARP does not guarantee its ability to prevent microbial
infection.
• To enable stable emission of high-density Plasmacluster ions,
the Plasmacluster Ion Generating Unit mounted in IG-15TX1 will
need to be replaced periodically*.
•
The unit is designed for ordinary passenger cars with DC 12V batteries.
It cannot be used in vehicles with DC 24V batteries (buses, trucks, etc.).
*Replacement is required approximately every 2 years (17,500 hours) when
operated 24 hours a day. IG-15TX1 will stop operating after about 2 years
and 2 months (19,000 hours) if the Plasmacluster Ion Generating Unit is
not replaced.

IMPORTANT SAFETY INSTRUCTIONS
Please read instructions carefully before using this unit as below.
WARNING - Prevent the fire accidents and injuries due to the electrical shock and electrical leakage:
To prevent harm to humans and damage to the property, we will describe
the precautions:
• Do not operate switches while driving. (Doing so could lead to accidents.)
• Do not install the unit in places where it could hamper visibility to the front or driving
operations, or in places where it could be dangerous to passengers. (Doing so could lead
to accidents or injury.)
• Do not put in places exposed to direct sunlight. (Do so could cause warping or
malfunction.)
• This unit is designed exclusively for use in vehicles with 12V batteries. Do not use it
in other vehicles. Do not use the unit in large trucks, buses or other vehicles with 24V
batteries. (Doing so could lead to fire or electric shock.)
• Do not damage or modify the cord. Also, do not use the cord if it is damaged.
(The damaged section could cause short-circuiting and the cord could melt, leading to fire.)
If the cord is damaged, contact the contact address.
• Do not pull on the cord when unplugging the cigar plug or the unit connection plug. (Doing
so could damage the cord, leading to fire or electric shock.)
• Do not plug in or unplug the cigar plug or the unit connection plug with wet hands. (Doing
so could cause electric shock.)
• When transporting, be careful not to drop the unit or subject it to shocks.
(Doing so could cause injury or damage.)
If the unit should drop or get damaged, contact the contact address.
Continued usage as such could lead to fire or electric shock.
• Do not modify the unit. Also, no one other than an authorized repairman should take
apart or repair the unit. (Doing so could lead to fire, electric shock or injury.)
Contact the contact address for repairs.
• Do not spill beverages or drop cigarette ashes, metal objects, easily burnable objects,
etc., into the unit through the air outlet or air intake.
Be particularly careful if there are small children in your family. If water or foreign
substances should get inside the unit, unplug the cigar plug from the cigar lighter socket.
(Continued usage as such could lead to fire or electric shock.)
Contact the contact address.
• Do not wipe the unit with oils, alcohol, benzene or thinner, or spray hairspray or
insecticides on the unit.
If such substances should get on the unit, wipe them off immediately.
(Such substances could lead to cracking or electric shock or could catch fire.)
• Do not place near heating equipment such as near the air outlet of the warm air heater.
(Cause of deformation and failure to the generator.)
• Use the car adapter designed exclusively for this unit, and insert the cigar plug securely
all the way in until it stops.
(If the cigar plug is not inserted securely until it stops, it could heat up, deforming the
cigar lighter socket, and this could lead to fire.)
• If the fuse should blow, be sure to replace it with a 2.5A glass tube fuse (commercially
available). Never use a piece of wire, etc., in place of the fuse.
(Using anything other than the specified type of fuse could cause heating, leading to fire.)
• Be sure to unplug the cigar plug from the cigar lighter socket when cleaning. (Failure to
do so could cause electric shock or injury.)

CAUTION - Prevent accidents and injuries due to electrical shock or fire:
• Do not touch the metal parts of the car adapter’s cigar plug (or of the cigar lighter socket).
(The metal parts of the cigar plug could be hot directly after the car is stopped, and could
cause burns if touched.)
• Do not use the unit in commercially available cup holders, on shaky or non-level
surfaces or in other unstable places. (The unit could fall, resulting in injury or damage.)
• Move the unit out of the car when using room fumigating type insecticides or deodorizers.
If not, the chemicals could get inside the unit and later be ejected from the air outlet,
possibly harming your health.
• If the unit risks falling out of the cup holder (when driving on rough roads, over bumps,
etc.), either slow down or remove the unit from the cup holder beforehand.
(Failure to do so could cause injury or damage to the unit.)
• Do not use items of silicone-containing products* near the unit.
The fluororesin or silicone could get stuck inside the unit, preventing it from producing
Plasmacluster ions. If this happens, replace a new Plasmacluster Ion Generating Unit. (See E-9)
* Hair care products (split end coatings, hair mousses, hair treatments, etc.), cosmetics,
antiperspirants, antistatic agents, waterproofing sprays, polishes, glass cleaners, chemical-
impregnated clothes, wax, etc.
• Be sure to unplug the cigar plug from the cigar lighter socket when not using the unit for
long periods of time. (Failure to do so could lead to electric shock or fire caused by short-
circuiting.)
• If the cigar lighter socket is integrated into the ashtray, be sure that cigarettes are
completely put out before using.
When leaving the vehicle, unplug the cigar plug and close the ashtray’s lid.
(Failure to do so could lead to fire caused by the smoldering cigarettes.)
How to put a Chinese display label
Please use this label as needed.
After sticking the label in the correct position,
peel off as the character portion remains. Stick the label in the correct position.

• Be sure to remove any dirt from the cigar lighter socket.
Failure to do so could cause faulty contact of fire.
• When using, connect with the selector switch set to
“N”, and if the plug is loose, connect with the switch
set to “W”.
(The width between electrodes (the metal parts)
differs at the N and W positions.)

Cautions on wiring the car adapter
• Do not let the cord touch or get caught in the seat rails, shift lever or other
moving parts.
• Wire in such a way that the cord does not get in the way of the driver.
• Consider the movement of the seats (forward/backward, swiveling or
reclining) when wiring.
• Do not bend the code extremely and do not compress it.
Cautions on installation
• Be sure to place on a stable location. (Do not put in a commercially
available cup holder or other unstable place.)
• Do not obstruct the air inlet or outlet.
• Keep the unit and the vehicle’s electronic key away from each other 30cm
or more. The unit’s radio waves could cause interference, an electronic key
may not be recognized.
• Keep the unit away from the vehicle’s in-glass antenna.
Failure to do so could cause noise in the radio.
• If there should be noise in a TV or radio located in the same car, or if an
atomic clock in the car should not display the time properly, move the unit
away from the TV, radio, atomic clock, etc.
•
If the unit is installed directly in front of the car climate control’s outlets, the
unit could get hot when the climate control is operating in the heating mode.
• The unit could get scratched by the vibrations of the vehicle, etc.
