Follow these steps to upgrade the firmware using the local user display:
Do NOT remove the SensorFlash during the update.
Insert the new SensorFlash delivered with the upgrade package into the transmitter.
On the display press from one of the measurement views. Sign in as "Expert" (default password 2834).
③Go to menu item 3.1.10 "Firmware Revision", change the parameter to new FW version "3.02.02-01" and confirm by
④Wait 2-3 minutes before the update starts. The update takes approximately 10 minutes and the transmitter makes a
restart after a successful update.
The display flashes and indicates progress during the update.
After the restart the display shows the wizard "First startup" .The firmware update does not change the configuration,
but you must go through the basic parameters to confirm the settings (display language, date, time).
Select "No" when asked if you want to go through the Quick commissioning wizard.
To complete the upgrade, the new sensor electronic must be synchronized with the original SensorFlash data.
①Remove power from the device.
Remove the SensorFlash from the transmitter and insert original one.
Return power to the device.
Alarm 151 "Sensor serial number mismatch" will appear in the display. SensorFlash backup is not possible due to
serial number mismatch between sensor front-end and SensorFlash. Sensor flash data, for example backup data for
sensor calibration, from the replaced sensor electronic must be copied from the SensorFlash to the new electronic.
Proceed as follows to synchronize the data and clear alarm 151.
③Sign in as "Expert" (default password 2834).
Go to menu item 3.3.7.2.2 "Replace Sensor Cassette (Compact)" and press . Select "OK" and press to start
the synchronization.
Synchronization updates data between SensorFlash and sensor electronic. Alarm 151 disappears and all
parameters are backed up in the SensorFlash.
Verify the data synchronization: Go to menu item 3.1.14.4 "Serial number" (sensor), and ensure that the number
matches the sensor serial number on the sensor product label.
Note: If alarm 151 "Sensor serial number mismatch" appears, then repeat steps 3-4.
