Andover Infinet Driver for PXC Modular

These installation instructions only cover the
connection of the Andover Infinet Driver to the
Andover Infinet network. For hardware installation of
the PXC Modular Controller, see PXC Modular
Series Installation and Quick Start (553-638).
Product Description
The Andover Infinet Driver enables communication
between the APOGEE®Automation System and the
Andover Infinet/Infinet II devices.This is done by
removing the Andover CX Network Controller and
replacing it with the Andover Infinet Driver, allowing
the Driver to control the Andover Infinet network.

Required Tools
Flat-blade screwdriver (1/8-inch blade
width).
Wire strippers.
CAUTION:
Always wear an electro-static discharge wrist
strap and discharge accumulated static before
touching field panel components.
Expected Installation Time
30 minutes
Prerequisites
Driver hardware is installed according to its
respective installation instructions.
FLN Expansion Module is installed
according to its respective installation
instructions.
Depending on the type of installation, other
prerequisites may have to be completed.

Connecting the Andover Infinet
Driver to the Andover Infinet
Network
Follow these steps to connect the Andover Infinet
Driver to the Andover Infinet network:
1. Disconnect the Andover Infinet network field
bus from the Andover CX Network Controller.
2. Connect the Andover Infinet network field bus
to the FLN1 of the RS-485 Expansion Module
on the Andover Driver per the diagram in Figure
1.
