Siemens electromagnetic flowmeters, SITRANS F M MAGFLO, type MAG 5000 CT & MAG 6000
CT are custody-transfer-approved for cold water and other media than water in accordance with
OIML R 117 and they are custody-transfer-approved for hot water in accordance with OIML R
75.
All transmitters must be used with sensors MAG 1100 and MAG 3100.
Transmitter MAG 5000 CT and MAG 6000 CT are also pattern approved to OIML R 49 when
used together with sensor MAG 5100 W in the sizes DN 50 to DN 300.

Setting primary operating parameters such as Qmax., low-flow cut-off, units, approvals, etc. is
blocked during normal operation. See menu setup.
These settings are made in connection with commissioning or calibration by mounting a hardware
key on the transmitter’s connection plate. When the key is mounted, there is access to all menu
items. When the key is removed, the primary settings are blocked in accordance with the
requirements in the authorisation.
Settings
Internal sealing After setup of settings and calibration of the unit the hardware key is removed again. This locks
the menu structure and the selected settings. The transmitter and sensor must then be sealed
to prevent unauthorized access. The connection plate is sealed to prevent access to the
SENSORPROM memory unit. Pindicates locations of sealing.

Sealing MAG 6000 CT is installed as shown in the instructions for a standard MAG 6000, except for the
external sealing.
The external sealing is carried out as shown.
Internal totalizers Depending on type of approval it is possible to reset the internal totalizers. The type of approval
is selected in the reset menu, with the hardware key mounted. It is possible to select between:
•Hot/cold water
•Other media than water
Resetting of totalizers by electrical input are not possible.
Hot/cold water
•Totalizer 1 is allocated to forward flow (cannot be reset).
•Totalizer 2 is allocated to reverse flow (cannot be reset).
Other media than water
Both totalizer 1 and totalizer 2 are pre-selected to measure the net forward flow, i.e. any reverse
flow will make the totalizers count backwards.
•Totalizer 1 can be reset if the flow rate in the meter pipe is <0.25 m/s. When the totalizer is
reset, any pulse output will also be reset.
•Totalizer 2 is consecutive and cannot be reset.

Der SITRANS F M MAGFLO magnetisch-induktive Durchflussmesser Typ MAG 5000 CT & MAG
6000 CT von Siemens Flow Instruments ist für Kaltwasser, andere Medien als Wasser gemäß
OIML R 117 sowie gemäß OIML R 75 für Warmwasser, für Abrechnungszwecke zugelassen.
Alle Messumformer müssen mit Messaufnehmern MAG 1100 und MAG 3100 betrieben
werden. Die Messumformer MAG 5000 CT und MAG 6000 CT sind auch nach OIML R 49
musterzugelassen,wennsiezusammenmiteinemMessaufnehmerMAG5100WmitNennweite
DN 50 bis DN 300 eingesetzt werden.

Je nach Anwendung muss eines der obengenannten Zulassungsschilder an der Seite des
Messumformers angebracht werden.
Wenn das Gerät für Abrechnungszwecke verwendet werden soll, müssen Einbau und Ver-
plombung entsprechend dieser Anleitung und gemäß den nationalen Vorschriften erfolgen.

Die Einstellungen der primären Betriebsparameter wie Qmax, Niederdurchfluss-Abschaltung,
Einheiten, Zulassungen usw. sind während des Normalbetriebs blockiert. Siehe Menü-Übersicht.
Diese Einstellungen werden im Zusammenhang mit der Inbetriebnahme oder Kalibrierung
vorgenommen, indem an der Anschlussplatte des Messumformers ein Hardware-Schlüssel
montiert wird. Nach Einbau dieses Schlüssels sind alle Menüpunkte zugänglich. Wird der
Schlüssel entfernt, sind die Primäreinstellungen gemäß Zulassungsvorschriften blockiert.
Einstellen der Betriebs-
parameter
Interne Verplombung Nach Vornahme der Einstellungen und der Kalibrierung des Geräts wird der Hardware-Schlüssel
wieder entfernt. Hierbei werden die Menüstruktur und die gewählten Einstellungen blockiert.
Messumformer und Messaufnehmer werden anschließend - wie auf der Abbildung gezeigt -
versiegelt, um unbefugten Zugang auszuschließen. Die Anschlussplatte muss verplombt werden,
damit niemand Zugang zur SENSORPROM® Speichereinheit erhält.

Verplombung Der MAG 6000 CT wird so montiert, wie dies in der Anleitung für die Standardversion des MAG
6000 gezeigt wird, jedoch mit Ausnahme der inneren und äußeren Verplombung.
Die äußere Verplombung wird wie nachstehend gezeigt ausgeführt.
Interne Zähler In Abhängigkeit von der jeweiligen Zulassung ist es möglich, an den beiden internen Zählern des
Geräts eine Rückstellung vorzunehmen. Die Zulassung wird im Menü "CT Rücksetzmodus" unter
„Einstellung des Messaufnehmers“ ausgewählt, wobei der Hardware-Schlüssel montiert sein
muss. Es kann unter folgenden Zulassungen ausgewählt werden:
•Warmwasser/Kaltwasser
•Andere Medien als Wasser
Es ist nicht möglich, eine Nullstellung der Zähler über den elektrischen Eingang vorzunehmen.
Warmwasser/Kaltwasser
•Zähler 1 ist dem Vorlauf zugeordnet.
•Zähler 2 ist dem Rückfluss zugeordnet.
Während des Normalbetriebs lässt sich weder an Zähler 1 noch an Zähler 2 eine Nullstellung
vornehmen.
Andere Medien als Wasser
Sowohl Zähler 1 als auch Zähler 2 sind für die Messung des Netto-Vorlaufs voreingestellt. Das
heißt, dass ein eventueller Rückfluss ein Rückwärtszählen des Zählers bewirkt.
•Eine Nullstellung von Zähler 1 kann erfolgen, wenn die Durchflussgeschwindigkeit im
Messrohr <0,25 m/s ist. Wird eine Nullstellung des Zählers vorgenommen, erfolgt ebenfalls
eine Nullstellung eines eventuellen Impulsausgangs.
•Am Zähler 2, kann keine Nullstellung vorgenommen werden.

Le débitmètre à induction magnétique SITRANS F M MAGFLO de Siemens Flow Instruments
est homologué pour la facturation d’eau froide et de fluides autres que l’eau conformément
à OIML R 117 et pour la facturation d’eau chaude conformément à OIML R 75.
Tous les convertisseurs de signaux doivent être utilisés avec des têtes de mesure MAG 1100
et MAG 3100. Les convertisseurs MAG 5000 CT et MAG 6000 CT sont également homologués
pour type selon OIML R 49 s’ils sont utilisés en combinaison avec une tête de mesure MAG
5100 W dans les dimensions de DN 50 à DN 300.

En fonction de l’application, l’une des plaques de certification ci-dessus doit être installée sur le
côté du convertisseur de signaux.
Les débitmètres destinés aux applications de facturation doivent être installés et scellés
conformément au présent mode d’emploi et aux directives en vigueur dans le pays concerné.

Débitmètre à induction magnétique type MAG 5000 CT & MAG 6000 CT
Le réglage des paramètres d’exploitation de base, tels que Qmax., la coupure faible débit, les
unités, les homologations, etc., est verrouillé pendant le fonctionnement normal. Voir structure
du menu.
Ces réglages sont effectués lors de la mise en service ou de l’étalonnage, après installation d’une
clé spéciale sur la plaque de raccordement du convertisseur de signaux. Une fois la clé installée,
il est possible d’accéder à tous les éléments du menu. Après retrait de la clé, les réglages de base
sont verrouillés selon les critères de l’autorisation.
Paramétrage
Scellement interne Après paramétrage et étalonnage du débitmètre, la clé doit être retirée afin de verrouiller la
structure du menu et les réglages sélectionnés. Le convertisseur de signaux et la tête de mesure
sont alors scellés comme indiqué ci-dessous pour empêcher tout accès non autorisé. La plaque
de raccordement doit être scellée pour empêcher tout accès à la mémoire SENSORPROM®.
