Thank you for purchasing the SimPure®AP3J9 Air Purifier, delivering
clean and healthy air for you and your home or office. Please contact us
for the latest product information, including operator manuals, videos,

The AP3J9 is a durable piece of equipment,
with proper care it will last for many years.
This owner's handbook outlines the
installation, operation, and maintenance
requirements to sustain perfect product
performance.
The AP3J9 features an H13 High-Efficiency
Particulate Air Filter (HEPA) and Activated
Carbon sponge, which captures >99.97% of
particles with a diameter greater than or
equal to 2.5 microns.

The AP3J9 can filter out impurities and particles in the air, such as
viruses, respirable dust, mites' eggs, and excretions, mold, dust,
allergens, pollen, bacteria, dust mites or cigarette smoke, asbestos, toxic
dust and aerosols from the air, dander, allergens from the fur of dogs or
cats.

Health & Safety
SimPure®products are designed with safety in mind. However, personnel
using this device must be familiar with any potential dangers. All safety
information detailed in this handbook should be reviewed before
installing and operating this air purifier.
This product is not a toy; children must be supervised when
using the device. Keep packing materials out of children's
reach.
The system has been designed for indoor use only. Install the air
purifier out of direct sunlight on a flat, level dry, and secure
surface with average ambient room temperature.
Do not touch the power plug AC adaptor with wet hands. Do not
use power adaptor if the unit is damaged or the product is not
working.
Do not use the device in a place with heavy moisture or smoke.
Please keep the device away from flammable gas appliances
such as heaters of fireplaces.
Clean the device and remove any dust from the power plug
regular. Unplug the unit when cleaning, do not use strong
corrosive detergents of chemicals as they may damage the
surface of the device.
Do not obstruct the air inlets or outlets on the device. Do Not
wash or reuse the composite filters –Replace with new filters.
Warnings! and Cautions! are provided; Failing to observe
these instructions could result in damage to the equipment,
associated parts, surroundings, or personal injury.

The following table lists the operating parameters for this product.
Operating this product outside these specifications may cause system
performance issues and may even lead to personal injury and void any
warranty. Please contact SimPure®for further advice and support.

and shipped complete with all the parts you should require.

Connecting up the System
Step 1
Before using the air purifier for the first
time, open the base and remove both filters.
Make sure you altogether remove any
packaging from each filter element, or the
product will not function correctly.
(See page 11-12).
Step 2
Plug the output of the power adapter into
the connector on the back of the purifier
Plug the power adaptor into an electrical
outlet.
The purifier should now be in standby
mode.
Step 3
Push the power button once to turn the air
purifier on
The purifier should now be in operational
mode.

Power Button
When the power adaptor is first connected to
the purifier, the indicator light will be red,
indicating the purifier is in standby mode.
Press the on/off button once to turn on the
device; the indicator light will now be white;
the device will operate in the default mode
(sleep) fan speed.
Operational Mode
From default mode, press the on/off button
repeatedly to cycle through fan speeds:
- High –maximum air filtering mode
- Standby –off (press and hold for 1 second)
- Low –standard air filtering
- Sleep - quieter sleeping mode
The indicator light is displayed accordingly.
Sleeping Mode
Sleeping mode (silent speed). The indicator
lights are turned off after 5 seconds to enter
into sleeping mode. The fan continues to
operate at a quieter low speed.
Press the on/off button once to review device
mode (after 5 secs the system resumes
sleeping mode) or continue to press on/off to
cycle through other operational modes.
Filter Timer
The filter element lifespan is dependent on
how many hours the air purifier is utilized
and which mode of operation is used.
The system automatically monitors the fan
speed and operational hours, when the filter
lifespan reaches 100% that the red indicator
light will always be on.

When the filter lifespan reaches 100%, the power
indicator will always be bright red when it is on
standby or working; when press on/off power
button for 3 seconds in standby mode, the red
indicator light will be off to complete the reset of
filter lifespan.
When the filter lifespan is not up to 100%, if it is
necessary to force zero clearing (replace the filter
halfway), long pressing the on/off power button
for 3 seconds in standby state, the red light will be
on, and enter the forced zero clearing mode of filter
lifespan; After entering the forced zeroing mode of
filter lifespan, long pressing the on/off power
button for 3 seconds in standby state, the red light
will be off to complete the forced zero clearing of
filter lifespan.

Filter Replacement
Step 1
Press the on/off button until the indicator
light is off, turn off the power adapter,
and unplug the purifier.
Invert the purifier on a soft surface (to
avoid scratching the case) Rotate the base
lock cover to open and lift off the base
cover, remover the two old filters.
Step 2
Clean out any remaining dust or hair
inside the purifier using a vacuum hose of
dry cloth.
DO NOT use water or liquids to clean the
purifier.
Step 3
Remove any packing from the new filter
elements and take notice of the inward
and outward sides of the filter element.

Step 4
Slot the two new filter elements into the
base of the purifier making sure the outer
sides of the filters are facing outwards.
Replace the purifier base and rotate the
lock cover to closed.
Turn the purifier upright. Plugin the air
purifier and follow the Filter life timer
reset instructions (See Page 10).

Warranty
SimPure®warrants to the customer that its residential air purifiers will
be free from defects in material and workmanship under normal use and
service for a period of 1 year. We will replace or repair any part of the
SimPure®air purifier that we find to be defective in operation due to
faulty materials or workmanship within one year since the date of the
original purchase. Used replaceable filter cartridges are excluded.
General Conditions
SimPure®obligation to the customer under these warranties shall be
limited, at its option, to replacement or repair of items covered by these
warranties. Prior to return or repair of covered items, the customer must
obtain a return goods authorization number from SimPure®and, at
SimPure®option, return the item with freight prepaid by the customer.
Damage to any part of this system because of misuse, misapplication,
negligence, alteration, accident, installation, or operation contrary to our
instructions, this warranty does not cover incompatibility with
accessories not installed by SimPure®, or damage caused by freezing,
flood, fire, or Acts of God. In all such cases, regular charges will apply.
This limited warranty does not include service to diagnose a claimed
malfunction in this unit. This warranty is void if the claimer is not the
original purchaser of the unit or if the unit is not operated under normal
operating conditions. We assume no warranty liability in connection
with this system other than that specified herein. This warranty is in lieu
of all other warranties, expressed or implied, including warranties of
fitness for a particular purpose. SimPure® liability hereunder shall not
exceed the cost of the product. Under no circumstances will SimPure®be
liable for any incidental or consequential damages or for any other loss,
damage or expense of any kind, including loss of use, arising in
connection with the installation or use or inability to use the covered
items. These warranties are governed by the laws of the state of
Washington, USA, and may change at any time without notice.
