The HP8 is a durable piece of equipment,
with proper care it will last for many years.

e HP8 can �ilter out impurities and particles in the air, such as viruses,
r
espirable dust, mites' eggs, and excretions, mold, dust, allergens, pollen,
bacteria, dust mites or cigarette smoke, asbestos, toxic dust and aerosols
from the air, dander, allergens from the fur of dogs or cats.

Health & safety
S
imPure®products are designed with safety in mind. However, personnel
u
sing this device must be familiar with any potential dangers. All safety
i
nformation detailed in this handbook should be reviewed before
i
nstalling and operating this air puri�ier.
This product is not a toy; children must be supervised when
using the device. Keep packing materials out of children's reach.
The system has been designed for indoor use only. Install the air
puri�ier out of direct sunlight on a �lat, level dry, and secure
surface with average ambient room temperature.
Do not touch the power plug with wet hands. Do not use if plug
and/or power cord is damaged or the product is not working.
Do not use the device in a place with heavy moisture or smoke.
Please keep the device away from �lammable gas appliances
such as heaters or �ireplaces.
Clean the device and remove any dust from the power plug
regularly. Unplug the unit when cleaning, do not use strong
corrosive detergents of chemicals as they may damage the
surface of the device.
Do not obstruct the air inlets or outlets on the device. Do not
wash or reuse the composite �ilter – Replace it with a new �ilter.
Warnings! and Cautions! are provided; Failing to observe
th
ese instructions could result in damage to the equipment,
associated parts, surroundings, or personal injury.
Operating Guidelines
The following table lists the operating parameters for this product.
Operating this product outside these speci�ications may cause system
performance issues and may even lead to personal injury and void any
warranty. Please contact SimPure®for further advice and support.

Before using the air puri�ier for the �irst
time, open the rear cover and remove the

mposite filter. Make sure you altogether

emove any packaging from the �ilter

lement, or the product will not function

rrectly.

Press the Power button to turn the air
puri�ier into operational mode.

ress the power button a second time to stop

he air puri�ier and place it into standby
mode.

ind Speed (Fan)
Repeatedly pressing this wind speed after
power-on will cycle through the fan speeds.

leep – Lowspeed

– Medium speed

– High Speed
Th
e corresponding wind speed indicator
light will display the current fan speed.
S
leep Mode
Press the sleep button after power-on; the air
puri�ier enters the quieter sleep mode.
A
ll indicator lights are off; only the sleep
m
ode light is on (low fan speed).

imer
Press the timer button after power-on to set
the timed auto-off feature.
R
epeatedly press the timer button to cycle
t
hrough the auto-off times 1, 2, or 4 hours,
t
he corresponding indicator light will display
the auto-off time setting selected.

lter Reset
When the total run hours of the air puri�ier
reach 1500 hours, the indicator will light up
to
replace the �ilter. After the replacement is
co
mpleted (see page 11), you need to press
a
nd hold the �ilter button for 3 seconds until
t
he indicator light is off, the �ilter timer
function is reset.

tep 1
Press the power button to turn the air
puri�ier off, unplug the power cord from
t
he electrical outlet.

emove the rear cover of the air puri�ier
a
nd remove the exhausted composite
�ilter element.
S
tep 2
Clean out any remaining dust, dirt, or hair
inside the puri�ier using a vacuum hose
o
r dry cloth.
D
O NOT use water or liquids to clean the
p
uri�ier.
S
tep 3
Remove any packing from the new �ilter
element and take notice of the inward
a
nd outward sides of the �ilter element.

efer to the new �ilter instructions for the
d
irection of air�low.
S
tep 4
Place the new �ilter into the air puri�ier
making sure it is the correct way around.

fter replacing the �ilter, plug the power cord
b
ack into an electrical outlet, then hold down
t
he �ilter button for 3 seconds to reset the
�
ilter timer, the indicator light will go out
s
howing the reset was successful.

Warranty
S
imPure®warrants to the customer that its residential air puri�iers will
b
e free from defects in material and workmanship under normal use
a
nd service for a period of 1 year. We will replace or repair any part of
t
he SimPure®air puri�ier that we �ind to be defective in operation due to
fa
ulty materials or workmanship within one year since the date of the
o
riginal purchase. Used replaceable �ilter cartridges are excluded.

eneral Conditions
S
imPure®obligation to the customer under these warranties shall be
l
imited, at its option, to replacement or repair of items covered by these
w
arranties. Prior to return or repair of covered items, the customer
m
ust obtain a return goods authorization number from SimPure®and,
a
t SimPure®
®
option, return the item with freight prepaid by the
c
ustomer.

amage to any part of this system because of misuse, misapplication,
n
egligence, alteration, accident, installation, or operation contrary to ou
r
i
nstructions, this warranty does not cover incompatibility with
accessories not installed by SimPure , or damage caused by freezing,
�
lood, �ire, or Acts of God. In all such cases, regular charges will apply.

is limited warranty does not include service to diagnose a claimed
m
alfunction in this unit. This warranty is void if the claimer is not the
o
riginal purchaser of the unit or if the unit is not operated under normal
o
perating conditions. We assume no warranty liability in connection
w
ith this system other than that speci�ied herein. This warranty is in lie
u
of
all other warranties, expressed or implied, including warranties of
�
itness for a particular purpose. SimPure® liability hereunder shall not
e
xceed the cost of the product. Under no circumstances will SimPure®
b
e liable for any incidental or consequential damages or for any other
l
oss, damage or expense of any kind, including loss of use, arising in
co
nnection with the installation or use or inability to use the covered
i
tems. These warranties are governed by the laws of the state of

ashington, USA, and may change at any time without notice.
