IMPORTANT SAFETY INSTRUCTIONS
READ CAREFULLY THE SAFETY WARNINGS BEFORE USE,
AS THEY INFORM YOU ABOUT SAFETY, INSTALLATION, USE
AND CLEANING OF THE APPLIANCE.
- This appliance is intended for household and internal use only.
- Use the appliance only for its designated purpose, that is, the
coffee supply.
- Always place the coffee maker on a dry, flat and stable surface.
- Do not place on or near heat sources, such as electric burner,
heated oven, etc.
- Never use the appliance with wet hands or feet.
- Insert the plug into the socket after checking that the voltage is
the same as indicated on the technical data and technical rating
plate of the machine.
- Only plug in the appliance to an outlet with earth connection.
- Please inspect from time to time the power cord. Do not operate
the appliance with a damaged cord or plug or after the appliance
malfunctions, or has been damaged in any manner. In such case,
you must contact any SINGER Service Center or SINGER Client
Service.
- Do not introduce the hands or other items inside the appliance if
connected to the power supply.
- By unpacking the appliance, keep away from children or disabled
persons all particulars, such as polyfoam, bags, box, etc. Suffo-
cation danger exists.
- Do not immerse cord, plug or appliance in water or any other
liquid.
- Do not switch on the appliance without water in the water tank.
- When making coffee, pay attention to possible hot liquid drippings

or jets of hot water or coffee.
- Never touch hot surfaces, as there is a risk of burning during use or just
after the use of the appliance.
- Do not move the appliance when working.
- Unplug from outlet when not in use and before cleaning. Allow to
cool before cleaning.
- Never pull off the cable to disconnect it from the socket. Instead,
unplug by pulling the plug from the socket.
- The use of accessory attachments not recommended by Singer
may result in fire, electric shock or injury.
- Do not let cord hang over the edge of the table or counter, or
touch hot surfaces.
- To disconnect, turn all functions to off and then remove the plug
from the socket.
- Do not attempt to service this product. In case it is necessary, get in
touch with Singer client Service.
- Never leave the appliance unattended during operation.
- The carafe is designed for use with this appliance. Do not use it
for any other purpose.
- Do not place the hot carafe on a cold surface.
- Never use the appliance if the carafe shows any signs of cracks.
Handle the carafe with care since it is very fragile.
- This appliance is not intended for use by persons (including chil-
dren) with reduced physical or sensory capabilities, or lack of ex-
perience and knowledge, unless they have been given supervision
or instruction concerning the use of the appliance by a person re-
sponsible for their safety.
- Children should be supervised to ensure that they do not play
with the appliance.

- Never touch the hot parts of the appliance, i.e., the heating plate
or the carafe. Only touch the plastic parts and move the carafe
by its handle.
- The steam evaporating from the coffee filter is hot. Danger of
burns.
- The coffee prepared is hot. Handle with care the carafe to avoid
any risk of hot splashes.
- Never put the carafe in any oven (includes microwave oven) to
warm up the coffee.
- Never clean the carafe in a dishwasher.
- Before cleaning or storing the appliance, make sure it has cool
down.
- The partial or total non-respect of the safety instructions in the
present instruction manual will automatically release Singer of
any type of responsibility in case of malfunction of the machine
or injuries to persons or animals.
- In case of manipulation, repairing or any modification of the ma-
chine made by unqualified persons or in case of improper use,
the guarantee will be automatically cancelled.
KEEP THESE INSTRUCTIONS FOR FUTURE REFERENCE
SERVICE & REPAIR
1. For service or repair under warranty, please contact the authorized service
company that is mentioned on the guarantee card that accompanies the
product.
2. Do not operate any product with a damaged cord or plug. If the supply
cord is damaged, return the appliance to a SINGER service center for
examination repair or adjustment. Do not attempt to dismantle any part of

the appliance. This should only be done at an authorized SINGER service
center.
3. The partial or total non-respect of the safety instructions in the present
instruction manual will automatically release Singer of any type of
responsibility in case of malfunction of the machine or injuries to persons
or animals.
4. In case of manipulation, repairing or any modification of the machine
made by unqualified persons or in case of improper use, the guarantee
will be automatically cancelled.

BEFORE FIRST USE
Check that all accessories are completed and the unit is not damaged.
Add clean water up to maximum level by adding two cups of white vinegar
and brew several times without coffee powder according to the steps
below, and then discard the water. Wash the detachable parts thoroughly
with warm water.
USING YOUR COFFEE MAKER
1. Open the water tank lid and fill the water tank with drinking water. The water
level should not exceed MAX level as indicated on water gauge.
2. Swing the funnel holder out, put the funnel into funnel holder, then place the
filter paper in the funnel, and make sure it is assembled correctly.
3. Add coffee powder into paper filter. Usually, a cup of coffee needs a level
spoon of coffee powder, but you may adjust according to personal taste.
Close the funnel holder, a click sound will be heard when the funnel holder
is closed completely.
4. Insert the carafe on warming plate horizontally.
5. Plug the power cord into the outlet.
6. Pressing the switch down, the indicator will be illuminated. The appliance
will begin working.
Note: during brewing process you may remove the carafe to serve for
duration of not exceeding 30 seconds, and the coffee maker can stop dripping
automatically.
7. Upon completion of brewing coffee, that is one minute later after the coffee
stops dripping out, you can remove the carafe and serve.
Note: DO NOT touch cover, warming plate when operating as they are very
hot.
8. When the process is finished, if you do not want to serve immediately, keep
the switch on, the coffee can be kept warm in the warming plate for 30
minutes and the appliance will be cut off automatically after 30 minutes. For
an optimum coffee taste, serve it just after brewing.
9. Always turn the coffee maker off and disconnect the power supply after use.
Note: Be careful when pouring the coffee out, otherwise you would be hurt as
the temperature of coffee just finished is high.

CLEANING AND MAINTENANCE
CAUTION: Always unplug the product from electrical outlet and allow the
warming plate to cool completely before cleaning it. Never immerse the unit or
power cord into water or any other liquid for cleaning.
1. Clean all detachable parts after each use in hot water.
2. Wipe the product’s exterior surface with a soft, damp cloth to remove stains.
3. Water droplets may buildup in the area above the funnel and drip onto the
product base during brewing. To control the dripping, wipe off the area with
a clean, dry cloth after each use of the product.
4. Use a damp cloth to gently wipe the warming plate. Never use abrasive
cleaner to clean it.
REMOVING MINERAL DEPOSITS
To keep your coffee maker operating efficiently, periodically you should clean
away the mineral deposits left by the water according to the water quality in your
area and the use frequency. We recommend decalcifying your coffee maker
as follows, using a solution of white vinegar and cold water: two tablespoons
(30ml) white vinegar in one carafe of cold water.
1. Fill the tank with the vinegar solution to the maximum level as indicated on
water gauge.
2. Insert glass carafe onto the warming plate.
3. Make ensure paper filter (without coffee powder) and funnel are assembled
in place.
4. Switch on the appliance and allow it to “brew” de-scaling solution.
5. Switch off the appliance.
6. Leave the solution stay for about 15 minutes.
7. Switch on the appliance and run off the solution until the water tank is
completely empty.
8. Rinse by operating the appliance with water only at least 3 times.
HINTS FOR GREAT-TASTING COFFEE
1. A clean coffee maker is essential for making great-tasting coffee. Regularly
clean the coffee maker as specified in the “CARE AND CLEANING” section.
Always use fresh, cold water in the coffee maker.
2. Store unused coffee powder in a cool, dry place. After opening a package
of coffee powder, reseal it tightly and store it in a refrigerator to maintain its
freshness.

3. For an optimum coffee taste, buy whole coffee beans and finely grind them
just before brewing.
4. Do not reuse coffee powder since this will greatly reduce the coffee flavor.
Reheating coffee is not recommended as coffee is at its peak flavor
immediately after brewing.
5. Clean the coffee maker when over-extraction causes oiliness. Small oil
droplets on the surface of brewed, black coffee are due to the extraction of
oil from the coffee powder.
6. Oiliness may occur more frequently if heavily roasted coffees are used.

- Μη βυθίζετε τη συσκευή, το καλώδιο ήάλλα μέρη σε νερό
ήάλλα υγρά.
- Μη θέτετε σε λειτουργία τη συσκευή εάν το δοχείο νερού
είναι άδειο.
- Κατά την παρασκευή του καφέ προσέχετε τις ενδεχόμενες
διαρροές ήεκπομπές ζεστού νερού ήκαφέ.
- Ποτέ μην αγγίζετε ζεστές επιφάνειες κατά τη διάρκεια πα-
ρασκευής του καφέ ήαμέσως μετά τη χρήση, καθώς υπάρ-
χει κίνδυνος εγκαύματος.
- Μη μετακινείτε ποτέ τη συσκευή εν ώρα λειτουργίας.
- Αποσυνδέετε τη συσκευή από το ρεύμα εφόσον δεν είναι
σε λειτουργία ήκατά τη διάρκεια καθαρισμού. Περιμένετε
μέχρι να κρυώσει πλήρως ησυσκευή πριν την καθαρίσετε.
- Μην αποσυνδέετε τη συσκευή τραβώντας το καλώδιο. Αντί-
θετα, πιάστε το φις και τραβήξτε το για να αποσυνδέσετε.
