ENGLISH
Read this manual thoroughly before using and save it for future reference
IMPORTANT SAFEGUARDS
Before using the electrical appliance, basic precautions should
always be followed including the followings:
• Read all instructions.
• Do not let the coffee maker operate without water.
• Make sure that your outlet voltage corresponds to the voltage
stated on the rating label of the coffee maker.
• To protect against fire, electric shock and or any other injury
do not immerse the cord, plug, in water or other liquid.
• Close supervision is necessary when your appliance is
operating. Do not let the appliance on the standby state for a
long time and never allow children operate the appliance.
• Unplug from outlet when not in use and before cleaning. Allow
the appliance to cool down before putting on or taking off
parts, and before cleaning it.
• Do not operate any appliance with a damaged cord or plug or if
the appliance shows any malfunctions, or has been damaged
in any way. Return the appliance to an authorized service
facility for examination, repair or adjustment.
• The use of attachments is not recommended by the appliance
manufacturer and may result in fire, electric shock or other
injuries to the person using it.
• Do not use the appliance outdoors.
• Place the appliance on a flat surface or table, do not let cord
hang over the edge of the table or counter, or touch any hot
surface.
• Do not place on or near hot gas or electric burner, or in a heated
oven.
• Do not use appliance for other purpose than its intended use
and place it in a dry environment.

• Connect the plug to wall outlet before using and turn the switch
off before the plug is removed from wall outlet. When unplug,
always hold the plug. But never pull the cord.
• Some parts of the appliance are hot when operating, so do not
touch directly with your hands. Use handles or knobs only.
• The container is designed for use only with this appliance. It
must never be used on any other appliances.
• Do not clean container with cleansers, steel wool pads, or
other abrasive material.
• Never leave the empty carafe on the keeping warm plate
otherwise the carafe might crack.
• Never use the appliance if the carafe shows any signs of cracks
or the carafe has a loose or weakened handle. Only use the
carafe with this appliance. Use carefully as the carafe is very
fragile.
• Do not set the hot container on a hot or cold surface.
• This appliance can be used by children aged from 8 years and
above and persons with reduced physical, sensory or mental
capabilities or lack of experience and knowledge if they have
been given supervision or instruction concerning the use of the
appliance in a safe way and understand the hazards involved.
• Children shall not play with the appliance. Cleaning and user
maintenance shall not be made by children without supervision.
Service & Repair
1. For service or repair under warranty, please contact the authorized service company that is
mentioned on the guarantee card that accompanies the product.
2. Do not operate any product with a damaged cord or plug. If the supply cord is damaged,
return the appliance to a SINGER service center for examination repair or adjustment. Do
not attempt to dismantle any part of the appliance. This should only be done at an authorized
SINGER service centre.
3. The partial or total non-respect of the safety instructions in the present instruction manual
will automatically release Singer of any type of responsibility in case of malfunction of the
machine or injuries to persons or animals.
4. In case of manipulation, repairing or any modification of the machine made by unqualified
persons or in case of improper use, the guarantee will be automatically cancelled.

NOTES ON THE PLUG
This appliance has a polarized plug, To reduce the risk of electric shock, this plug is intended to
fit into a polarized outlet, If the plug does not fit fully into the outlet, reverse the plug, If it still does
not fit, contact a qualified electrician, Do not attempt to modify the plug in any way.
NOTES ON THE CORD
a) A short power-supply cord (or detached power-supply cord) is to be provided to reduce risks
resulting from becoming entangled in or tripping over a long cord.
b) Longer detachable power-supply cords or extension cords are available and may be used if
the person is familiar with their use.
c) If a long detachable power-supply cord or extension cord is used,
1) The marked electrical rating of the detachable power-supply cord or extension cord should be
at least as great as the voltage stated on the rating label of the appliance.
2) The longer cord should be arranged so that it will not drape over the counter top or the table
where it can be pulled by children or tripped over.

KNOW YOUR COFFEE MAKER
BEFORE FIRST USE
Check that all accessories are complete and the unit is not damaged. Fill water into water tank to
the maximum level on the water gauge and brew water for several times without coffee powder
and then discard the water. Clean and dry all detachable parts thoroughly according to the
section “CLEANING AND MAINTENANCE”

USING YOUR COFFEE MAKER
1. Open the top cover and fill the water tank with cold drinking water
NOTE: Do not fill water tank with water that exceeds max level as indicated on water gauge. The
appliance can brew max 5 cups of coffee every brewing cycle.
2. Place the funnel into funnel holder and make sure the funnel is assembled in place, and then
place a paper filter into the funnel correctly.
3. Add proper coffee powder into the paper filter. Usually a cup of coffee needs a spoonful of
coffee powder, but you may adjust according to your personal taste, and then replace the top
cover.
4. Insert glass carafe with lid in place onto warming plate horizontally and ensure that the center
line of carafe aligns with that of the funnel.
5. Plug the unit into an outlet.
6. Press the switch, the indicator will illuminate and the appliance will start working.
Note: The brewing process can be interrupted by pressing the switch again at any time and the
indicator will go off, showing that your coffee maker is off.
NOTE: the appliance is designed with a pause-and-serve features so any time during brewing
cycle, you can temporarily remove carafe to pour and serve a cup of hot coffee. The brewing
cycle will not be interrupted and no coffee will drip from the appliance, simply replace glass
carafe onto warming plate to restart the brewing cycle, but do not remove glass carafe for longer
than 30s, never place the empty carafe onto warming plate when it is still warm.
7. Remove carafe to serve when finish brewing
NOTE: the coffee you get will be less than the water you have added as some water is absorbed
by coffee powder.
CAUTION: When pour coffee, the momentary inclined angle of carafe shall not be more than
45 degree from the vertical position, you shall pour the coffee slowly until the carafe is empty,
otherwise the coffee in the carafe will rush to the bottom of carafe lid, and the coffee will flow out
from two edges of lid and it might hurt the person using it!
8. After brewing, the appliance will automatically switch to warming mode, which will continue to
keep your coffee warm for 40 minutes. After keeping warm for 40 minutes, the appliance will
shut down automatically. For an optimum coffee taste, serve it just after brewing.
9. Always turn the coffee maker off and unplug the appliance when not in use.
CLEANING AND MAINTENANCE
CAUTION: Be sure to unplug this appliance before cleaning it and let the appliance to cool down
completely. To protect against electrical shock, do not immerse the cord, plug or unit in water or
any other liquid.
1) Clean all detachable parts after each use in hot sudsy water.
2) Wipe external surface of the product with a soft, damp cloth to remove stains.
NOTE: Do not attempt to clean the inside of water tank, as this will leave a residue of lint and
may clog your coffee maker, simply rinse with cold water periodically.
3) Water droplets may build up in the area above the funnel and drip onto the product base
during brewing. To control the dripping, wipe off the area with a clean, dry cloth after each
use.
4) Replace all parts and keep them for next use.

REMOVING MINERAL DEPOSITS
To keep your coffee maker operating efficiently, you should periodically clean away the mineral
deposits left by the water according to the water quality in your area and the use frequency. We
recommend removing mineral deposits as follows:
1. Fill the tank with water and descaler to the max level as indicated on water gauge (the
scale of water and descaler is 4:1, the detail refers to the instruction of descaler. Please use
“household descaler”), you may also use the citric acid instead of the descaler (one hundred
parts of water and three parts of citric acid).
2. Insert glass carafe onto the warming plate.
3. Make sure to follow this procedure without coffee powder and funnel assembled in place.
3. Switch on the appliance and allow it to “brew” de-scaling solution.
4. After “brew” one-cup solution, switch off the appliance.
5. Leave the solution stay for 15 minutes and repeat steps 3-5.
6. Switch on the appliance and pour out the solution until the water tank is completely empty.
7. Rinse by operating the appliance with water at least 3 times.
HINTS FOR GREAT-TASTING COFFEE
1. A clean coffee maker is essential for making great-tasting coffee. Regularly clean the coffee
maker as specified in the “CLEANING AND MAINTENANCE” section. Always use fresh, cold
water in the coffee maker.
2. Store unused coffee powder in a cool, dry place. After opening a package of coffee powder,
reseal it tightly and store it in a refrigerator to maintain its freshness.
3. For an optimum coffee taste, buy whole coffee beans and finely grind them just before brewing.
4. Do not reuse coffee powder since this will greatly reduce the coffee’s flavor. Reheating coffee
is not recommended as coffee is at its peak flavor immediately after brewing.
5. Clean the coffee maker when over-extraction causes oiliness. Small oil droplets on the
surface of brewed black coffee are due to the extraction of oil from the coffee powder.
6. Oiliness may occur more frequently if heavily roasted coffees are used.
Disposal of old Electrical & Electronic Equipment (Applicable in the European Union and
other European countries with separate collection systems).
This symbol on the product or on its packaging indicates that this product shall not
be treated as household waste. Instead it shall be handed over to the applicable
collection point for the recycling of electrical and electronic equipment. By ensuring
this product is disposed of correctly, you will help prevent potential negative conse-
quences for the environment and human health, which could otherwise be caused
by inappropriate waste handling ofthis product. The recycling of materials will help
to conserve natural resources. For more detailedinformation about recycling of this
product, please contact your local city office, your householdwaste disposal service
or the shop where you purchased the product.

ΣΗΜΑΝΤΙΚΕΣ ΠΡΟΦΥΛΑΞΕΙΣ
Όταν χρησιμοποιείτε ηλεκτρικές συσκευές, πρέπει να τηρείτε τις
βασικές προφυλάξεις ασφαλείας συμπεριλαμβανομένων και των
παρακάτω:
• Διαβάστε όλες τις οδηγίες.

• Μην αφήνετε τη συσκευή χωρίς επίβλεψη κατά τη διάρκεια
λειτουργίας της και μην την αφήνετε συνδεδεμένη σε
κατάσταση αναμονής για μεγάλο χρονικό διάστημα. Μην
επιτρέπετε στα παιδιά να χειρίζονται τη συσκευή.
• Αποσυνδέετε τη συσκευή από το ρεύμα όταν δεν είναι σε
λειτουργία ήπριν από τον καθαρισμό της. Περιμένετε να
κρυώσει πλήρως πριν επανατοποθετήσετε ήαφαιρέσετε τα
εξαρτήματα της καθώς επίσης και πριν από τον καθαρισμό της.
• Μη λειτουργείτε οποιαδήποτε συσκευή αν το καλώδιο ήτο φις

κατασκευαστή μπορεί να έχει ως αποτέλεσμα τον τραυματισμό
του χρήστη ήτη φθορά στη συσκευή.
• Μη χρησιμοποιείτε τη συσκευή σε εξωτερικούς χώρους.

• Τοποθετήστε τη συσκευή επάνω σε επίπεδη επιφάνεια ή
τραπέζι και μην αφήνετε το καλώδιο να κρέμεται από την άκρη
του τραπεζιού ήτην επιφάνεια εργασίας. Βεβαιωθείτε ότι δεν
έρχεται σε επαφή με ζεστές επιφάνειες.
• Μην τοποθετείτε τη συσκευή κοντά ήεπάνω σε πηγές
θερμότητας όπως μάτια κουζίνας, φούρνους κλπ.
• Μη χρησιμοποιείτε τη συσκευή για άλλο σκοπό εκτός από τον
συγκεκριμένο για τον οποίο προορίζεται. Τοποθετήστε την σε
περιβάλλον χωρίς υγρασία.
• Συνδέετε το φις στην πρίζα πριν χρησιμοποιήσετε τη συσκευή.
Πριν αποσυνδέσετε τη συσκευή από την πρίζα, βεβαιωθείτε
ότι έχετε απενεργοποιήσει τη συσκευή από τον διακόπτη on/
off. Μην αποσυνδέετε τη συσκευή από το ρεύμα τραβώντας το
καλώδιο. Για να την αποσυνδέσετε, πιάστε το φις και τραβήξτε
το προς τα έξω.
• Κάποια μέρη της συσκευής ζεσταίνονται κατά τη διάρκεια της
λειτουργίας της. Ποτέ μην αγγίζετε τις ζεστές επιφάνειες της
συσκευής. Χρησιμοποιήστε τις λαβές ήτους διακόπτες.
• Ηκανάτα έχει σχεδιαστεί για χρήση σε αυτή την καφετιέρα.
Μην τη χρησιμοποιείτε σε καμία άλλη συσκευή.
• Μηχρησιμοποιείτεισχυράκαθαριστικά, συρμάτινα σφουγγάρια
ήάλλα διαβρωτικά υλικά για να καθαρίσετε τη συσκευή.

ВАЖНИ ИНСТРУКЦИИ ЗА БЕЗОПАСНОСТ
Преди да използвате електрическия уред, трябва да се спаз-
ват основни предпазни мерки, включително следните:

• Поставете уреда на равна повърхност или маса, не позво-

• Не използвайте уреда за други цели, освен по предназначе-
ние, поставете го на сухо място.
• Свържете щепсела към контакта преди да включите ина-
тиснете бутон OFF преди да извадите щепсела от контакта.
Когато изключвате от контакта, винаги дръжте щепсела.
Никога не дърпайте кабела.
• Някой части на уреда се нагорещяват по време на работа,
за това не докосвайте директно сръце. Използвайте само
дръжките икопчетата.
• Контейнера епроизведен само за този уред. Не може да се
използва за други уреди.
• Не почиствайте контейнера спочистващи препарати или
други абразивни материали.
• Никога не оставяйте празна каната на топлата плоча,защото
ще се спука.
• Никога не използвайте уреда, ако каната има пукнатини

която еза уреда. Използвайте внимателно, защото каната е
много крехка.
• Не поставяйте горещата кана на горещи истудени повърх-
ности.
• Този уред може да се използва от деца на възраст от 8 го-
дини ина-горе, лица снамалени физически, сетивни или
умствени способности или липса на опит ипознания, ако
са под набюдение иим едадена инструкция за ползване на
уреда по безопасен начин, за да разберат опасностите.
• Децата не бива да си играят суреда. Почистването ипод-
дръжката не бива да се извършва от деца без надзор.
