1. Start the Wizard
To configure your TV Media Player for a Wireless Connection, you need to insert the
Sitecom Wireless Media Adapter 300N into one of the USB ports on your TV Media Player.
Then you need to start the Network Configuration Wizard. This wizard is automatically
started when you start the TV Media Player up for the first time, but can also be accessed
from the Settings menu. Go to Settings -> Network and select “Configure Network” to
start the wizard.
Select “Next” to start the wizard.

You can choose from 3 different connection methods, which are described in the next
chapters.

2. WPS Push Button
Select “WPC PBC mode” if you want to make use of the WPS Push Button for the
connection. If your router has a WPS button, please press it now. Refer to the manual of
your router for the proper procedure. Afterwards, please select “CONNECT” on the
screen, or press the button on top of the Sitecom Wireless Media Adapter 300N that’s
connected to your TV Media Player.
You’ll see the screen below.
The WPS connection is now being established. After a while you’ll see the screen below.

Select “Auto” if your router has a DHCP server. This is the option that you should
normally choose. Select “Advanced etup” if you want to manually assign an IP-
address to the TV Media Player. Please refer to page 30 of the TV Media Player Manual
for the steps to manually assign an IP-address.
The next screen appears.
The wireless connection is now being established. After a while you’ll see the screen
below.
You have successfully set up your device for your home network. Select “Finish” to exit
the Wizard.

3. WPS PIN
Select “WP PIN mode” if you want to connect to your network using a preset PIN code
on your router. Please refer to the manual of your router for the location where to find
the PIN code.
The TV Media Player starts searching for wireless networks.
Wait for the network list to appear.
Select your own network from the list and click the OK button on the remote.

Note the PIN code and apply it in the settings menu of your router. Refer to the manual
of your router for this. After you’ve done this, select the “CONNECT” button to continue.
The WPS connection is now being established. After a while you’ll see the screen below.
Select “Auto” if your router has a DHCP server. This is the option that you should
normally choose. Select “Advanced etup” if you want to manually assign an IP-
address to the TV Media Player. Please refer to page 30 of the TV Media Player Manual
for the steps to manually assign an IP-address.

4. Manual Connect – Site Survey
Select “ earch wireless network” if you want to manually connect to a network.
The TV Media Player starts searching for the wireless networks nearby.
Select your network from the list and press the OK button on the remote control. If
you cannot find the network in the list please refer to chapter 5.

If your network has security enabled you will now be asked to type in the security key.
Please note that the key is case sensitive. When you’re finished, select “Next” to
continue.

5. Manual Connect – Manual SSID
If you selected “ earch wireless networks” and your network was not in the list, select
the option “Not in list” and press the OK button on the remote control.
Type in the network name (SSID) of the wireless network you’re trying to connect to.
Please note that the SSID is case sensitive. When you’re finished, select “Next” to
continue.
Select the security type of the network and press the OK button on the remote
control.

If your network has security enabled you will now be asked to type in the security key.

continue.

6. Wireless Favorites
The TV Media Player saves the settings for every network it’s made a successful
connection to in the past. The maximum number of profiles that can be stored is 10.
Select the option “Wireless Favorite” and press the OK button on the remote control
if you want to manage the connections.
You’ll see a list of the profiles the TV Media Player has stored. The star icon next to the
profile shows to which network the TV Media Player is currently connected. If you want to
connect to a different network, select the network and press the OK button on the
remote control.

If you want to delete a profile, press the Option button and press the OK button
to delete.
When you’ve successfully set up a wireless connection, you can view the status of the
connection in the Network settings page.
