1 Production Overview
1.1 Production Description
Imani is a smart video indoor phone. It can be connected with Slinex door phone for unlock and
monitor. Residents can communicate with visitors via audio and video call, and unlock the door for
the visitors. It is more convenient and safe for residents to check the visitor identity through its video
preview function. Imani is often applicable in villas , apartments, building and so on.

1.4 Installation Considerations
Here are some safety recommendations about the installation and the usage:
Do not use this product near water, such as: bath, washbasin, kitchen sink and other damp
places and so on.
Use the pencil to mark 4
fixation holes through

Use a 5mm hand drill to
make the 4 fixation holes
on the wall
Once the fixation holes
are made, insert the four
expansion anchors

Use 4 ST4X20 screws to fix the
wall bracket in the wall
Push down so that the device is
fixed securely

Place the device in a place away from heat.
Place the device away from traffic areas to prevent collisions.
Please use the equipment with the matching power adapter or POE.

2Settings
2.1 Main interface
The default screen is shown as above. User can click the corresponding area to into the
interface.
2.2 Static
Basic Status
You can view the IP Address, MAC Address, Firmware information in the Basic Status
page.

Network
To check the LAN Type, LAN IP, LAN Mask, Gateway, DNS1,DNS2 information in the
Network status page.
Phone
View the Model, Hardware, Firmware information in the Phone status page.

Account
You can view the sip account status in the Account status page.
2.3 Network
DHCP
use DHCP mode to get IP address by default. Please go to
Setting-Advanced(password:123456)-Network
Choose DHCP, press CONFIRM, the phone will get IP address automatically.
Static IP
Select Static IP in LAN Type. Enter the IP address parameters in the corresponding

area.
2.4 Register Account
SIP account is provided by SIP server. Go to Setting-Advanced-Sip Account . Fill int the
corresponding sip account parameters, slide down to check more account
information. Click Save to save. Click Right key or Left key to switch account
1 or account 2. Please consult administrator about sip server information.

2.5 Display
2.5.1 Brightness
Click Brightness, it will show up modification interface. Click or key to
adjust the screen brightness, click OK to save.

Click Sleep, it will show up a modification interface. Choose the sleep time from 15
seconds to Never.

2.6.1 Ring Tones
Click Ring Tones area to select a suitable ringtone, press Save key to confirm.
2.6.2 Door Unit Ring Tones
Users can setup the ring tone from the corresponding door phone.
Note:This function can only be used with SDMC . Please consult your administrator
for more information.
2.6.3 Volume
Slide the point or to adjust the Ring / Talk/Tone Volume.
2.6.4 Touch Sounds
Enable or disable touch sound.
2.7 Time
Setup the date and time in the corresponding area.
Enable NTP (Network Time Protocol), the phone will get the Date and Time
automatically. And users can also setup NTP server. Setup a suitable Time Zone ,
Time format and Date Format.
If user don’t use NTP function, you need to configure date and time manually.

2.8 DND setting
This function is used to prevent the phone from disturbing. Go to Setting-DND. if
open DND, external phone call is unable to call in, turned off by default.
1. Enable/Disable DND function.
2. Select valid time of DND. If you don’t enable the IVR, use Whole day by default.
3. Click IVR, users can setup the accurate Start and End time.

2.9 Album
To check all local pictures in album. Users can also play the photos as a digital photo
frame.
2.10System
2.10.1 Reboot
To reboot the device, click OK when you see the prompt. The phone will reboot.
2.10.2 Screen clean
This function is used to protect the device from being pressed any keys when users
clean the screen.
2.10.3 Language
To choose a suitable language for Imani monitor. English is set be default.

2.11 Door Station
1) Go to the path: Setting->Advance(default password: 123456)->Door Station.
2) Click the Door Station Number to type the number. Click OK label to save.
2.12 Password
Go to the path: Settings-> Advance(Password:123456)-> Password. Users can modify the
password of Advance interface.

2.13Backup
Go to Advance-Reset. Choose the Reset mode, click CONFIRM when you see the
prompt. The phone will reset to factory setting automatically.

3 Function
3.1 Make a call
User can directly dial from the soft keypad, select from the contact list or from call
log to call out the number.
User can choose one of the following steps to enter the dialing interface.
Mode 1: Click Call icon on the main screen.
Mode 2: Click Intercom physical key.
3.1.1 Call SIP
If you want to call sip number, you can select Call SIP label. Click the sip number to
make a call. The more information about sip account can ask to administrator for
help.
