XRS-101SS
DESCRIPTION
The XRS-101SS security loudspeaking station is
designed to withstand damage caused by abuse,
moisture, corrosion, dust, vibration, and temperature
extremes from +150 to -30 degrees F. The station is
available in a (1) watt configuration, with a call origination
pushbutton, and a faceplate with an attached cone
speaker. The (8) ohm speaker is water and fungus
resistant and also functions as a microphone to provide
remote station communication, when included in a
centrally located master control system. The heavy-
duty call origination switch is momentary action with
contacts that are rated at (3) amps., and is mounted
semi-flush to the plate for added security. The station
is available with (1) watt speakers, 25 volt transformers,
and 4-1/2" SQ faceplates.

The indoor and/or outdoor intercom sub-station shall be a
TOA model XRS-101SS, or approved equal. The station
shall be comprised of an (8) ohm water and fungus
resistant cone speaker, mounted on a 14 GA. stainless
steel plate. The driver shall function as a microphone with a
minimum sensitivity of -26 dBm. The station equipped with
a call switch shall include a tamper-resistant, weather-
resistant, flush-mounted, momentary action pushbutton
switch with a contact rating of (3) amps. The station shall
have a power rating of (1) watt with a frequency response
of 400-4K Hz. The assembly shall include a 25 volt
transformer with 1, 1/2 watt taps. The station shall mount
with #6-32 screws.
