5 Projector Standby Button
Press this green button to power on the projector lamp.
When you're finished, press it to put the projector into
reversible standby mode for five minutes. In reversible
standby, the screen appears black, but the projector
lamp remains on, allowing you to quickly restore the
display by pressing any button on the Control Panel.
After five minutes, the lamp powers down. After an
additional 60 seconds, full standby mode is reached.
If you prefer, you can skip the five-minute reversible
period: Press and hold the Projector Standby button
for a few seconds until the "Please Wait a Moment"
message appears at the bottom of the screen. Release
the button and the lamp starts powering down,
reaching full standby mode in 60 seconds.
Use the following table to determine the status of the
projector lamp.

1 Display Source Button
Press this button to select the display source for
the projector. Each press selects the next source in
a three-source sequence: the host computer
(source 1), a connected guest laptop (source 2)
and a VCR or DVD player (source 3). The LED
indicators on the right indicate the current display
source. When you select a display source, the next
LED in the sequence flashes briefly while the
source changes and then remains steadily
illuminated when the source is active. When you
switch from source 1 to source 2, and then pause
for at least 60 seconds, you'll automatically return
to source 1 when you next press the Display
Source button.
NOTE: You can switch from Source 1 to Source 2
only if the X-Port 20 switch option is installed.
Without this option, you switch from source 1
(computer) directly to source 3 (VCR/DVD player)
when you press the Display Source button.
2,3,4 Volume, Brightness and Contrast
Press the arrow buttons to adjust the volume,
brightness and contrast for the current input source.
If you have the X-Port 20 switch option installed, the
2000i retains your settings for each source.
The default level of brightness and contrast is 50%,
and the default level of sound is 0. To restore the
defaults for any setting, press the up and down
buttons simultaneously.
