Please read the entire user manual before using the product and then save it for future

• Please keep these instructions, the guarantee slip, the receipt and if possible the box
with inner packaging in a safe place!
• This appliance is intended exclusively for private and not for commercial use.
• Alwaysswitchothemachineandremovetheplugfromthesocketwhentheappliance
is not in use or when you are attaching accessories, when cleaning it or in the event of a
malfunction. Do not pull the cable, pull the plug.
• When conducting installation or maintenance, please follow these instructions carefully
to ensure the safe use of this appliance.
• Keep the packing material out of reach of the children to avoid any accident.
• This appliance could be only operated by the person who is familiar with the unit.
• Do not rinse the equipment in water.
• Clean the surface of the stainless steel and services periodically with appropriate
method to prevent any damage brought by oxidisation.
• Themachineshouldbeputonastable,levelledandrmsurface.Avoiddirectcontact
with sunlight or rain. Do not place on or near a hot gas or electric burner.
• The machine needs to be plugged into 210-240V dedicated circuit to operate properly.
When using an electrical appliance, basic safety precautions should always be followed.
• The apparatus shall be connected to a MAINS socket outlet with a protective earthing
connection.
• Alwaysattachtheplugtotheappliancerst,thenplugthecordinthewalloutlet.To
disconnect,turnanycontrol“o”thenremovetheplugfromwalloutlet.
• Ensure that the cable does not hang down.
• Do not repair the appliance yourself, but consult an authorised professional instead.
• Keep the appliance and the cable away from heat, direct sunlight, moisture, sharp
edges and such like.
• Neverleavetheapplianceunsupervisedifitisinuse!Alwaysswitchotheapplianceif
you are not using it, even if only for a brief period.

INTRODUCTION
Thank you for purchasing the SMART POPCORN CART, a product of SMART Worldwide.
This 61 ½" tall vendor-style popcorn cart will be the hit of every party. It pops up to 24
cups of hot, fresh, kettle cooked popcorn per batch. The SMART POPCORN CART is
designed for both home and commercial use. It features a large, stainless steel kettle
with a built-in stirring system and kernel catcher to keep unpopped kernels out of each
perfect batch. There is a compartment in the base of the unit to store supplies, making it
easytokeepthecartwellstockedandorganized.Thelarge15”wheelsmakesiteasyto
manoeuvre and 2 rear wheel locks which is a safety feature. The SMART POPCORN CART
has an easy-to-clean design. Its accessible height makes serving a snap.

FEATURES & OPERATIONS
Before rst use, clean the inside of the unit by wiping with a moist, non-abrasive sponge, towel
or cloth and then wipe with a non-abrasive dry towel. Wipe down the inside of the kettle and be
sure it is properly placed in the brackets before starting.

1. Plug in the machine, press the POWER button to switch it on.
2. Press KEEP WARM / LIGHT button to warm up the base and turn light on.
3. Press the HEAT KETTLE switch to preheat the kettle for 5 to 6 minutes. Pour 50ml of
oil,150gofkernelsand50gofsugar,saltoranyavouryoumaydesire.
(Youmaywanttoturnokettleonceithasheatedbeforeaddingingredients.)
4. Closethecoverlidrmly.
5. Close the glass doors.
6. Press HEAT KETTLE back on if have not already done so and press TURN MOTOR
button to start the cooking process.
7. Itwillonlytake2minutestopopthekernelsinacontinuousow.
8. OncedoneturnobothTURN MOTOR and HEAT KETTLE buttons.
9. Lift cover lid to the top and twist the crank handle to empty the kettle.
10. Repeat steps 3-8 to make more delicious popcorn.
In no time at all, you will hear the popping begin. Fresh, hot popcorn will begin to burst out
oftheiplidsonthekettle–justlikeatthetheater!
Note:
• When placing oil in the kettle, be careful not to spill it on the plate.
• Ensure to clean the kettle thoroughly after each use.
• This machine is equipped with over-heating protection mechanism. Over certain
temperature level it will automatically switch o to protect the user and machine.
Please wait until it cools down to reuse.
CLEANING & MAINTENANCE
1. Clean your popcorn machine after every use.
2. Make sure the machine is unplugged and the kettle has completely cooled.
3. WipealloilsotheinsideandoutsideofthekettlewithaDRYcleansoftcloth.
4. Do not use, scrubbing brushes or chemical cleaners, as these will damage the
machine.
5. NEVER immerse the base of machine in water or let water drip inside.

RECIPES
The SMART POPCORN CART makes hot, fresh, theater style popcorn anytime! Enjoy your
freshly popped corn in a variety of ways:
• Regular theater style popcorn – add butter and salt.
• Add a pinch of sugar and salt to popcorn for a sweet kettle corn taste.
• Flavoured popcorn – add seasoning from any gourmet popcorn seasoning kit.
NOTE: 1 gallon = 16 cups
Try some of these fun recipes:
TRADITIONAL POPCORN BALLS
• ½ Cup Popcorn
• ½ Cup Corn Syrup
• ½ Cup Granulated
Sugar
• ½ Teaspoon Salt
• 1 Stick of Butter,
softened
Pop corn kernels using the SMART POPCORN CART as
directed on page 6.
Mix corn syrup, sugar and salt together in pot and dissolve
over medium heat for about 3 minutes.
Add popcorn to pot, stirring and tossing consistently until
popcorn is evenly coated at low heat.
Remove from heat.
Use softened butter to form balls while popcorn mixture is
still warm.
Wrap individual balls in plastic wrap, tie and store at room
temperature.
PARMESEAN POPCORN
• 1 Gallon of Popped
Corn
• 1 Tsp Garlic Powder
• 3 Green Onions, finely
chopped
• ½ Tsp Cracked Pepper
• 1 Tsp Sea Salt
• 1 Cup Parmesean
Cheese,grated(more
or less to taste)
• 3 Tbsps Olive Oil,
heated
Pop corn kernels using the SMART POPCORN CART as
directed on page 6.
Combine garlic powder, green onions, cracked pepper, sea
salt and parmesean cheese. Set aside.
In a large mixing bowl, drizzle hot olive oil over popcorn.
Toss until well coated.
Slowly add in dry ingredients while continuously strirring
popcorn until well coated.
You may also shake the dry ingredients over popcorn in a
large paper or muslin bag.

CHUNKY MONKEY
• 1 Gallon Popcorn
• 1(12-ozbag)Semi-
Sweet Chocolate
Chips
• 1(12-ozbag)Peanut
Butter Morsels
• 1(4.2ozbag)Banana
Chips, broken into
small pieces
• 1(11-ozbag)Peanuts
Pop corn kernels using the SMART POPCORN CART as
directed on page 6.
Melt chocolate chips and peanut butter morsels over stove,
as packaging recommends.
Line cookie sheet with wax paper.
Toss together popcorn and banana chips.
Spread popcorn and banana chip mixture evenly over
cookie sheet.
Drizzle melted chocolate and peanut butter mixture over
popcorn and banana chips.
Sprinkle peanuts over chocolate and peanut butter mixture.
Allow to cool.
When chocolate and peanut butter has hardened, break up
the Chunky Monkey into pieces.
Can be stored in plastic freezer bags.
POPCORN PEPPERMINT BARK
• 1 Gallon Popped Corn
• 1(12-ozbag)
Semi-Sweet or Dark
Chocolate Chips
• 1¼ cup Peppermint
Sticks, crushed
Pop corn kernels using the SMART POPCORN CART as
directed on page 6.
Melt chocolate chips over stove, as packaging recommends.
Line cookie sheet with wax paper.
Spread popcorn evenly over cookie sheet.
Drizzle melted chocolate over popcorn.
Sprinkle crushed peppermints over chocolate.
Allow to cool.
When chocolate has hardened, break up Popcorn
Peppermint Bark into pieces.
Can be stored in plastic freezer bags.

TRANSPORTATION AND STORAGE
The unit should be handled with care to avoid damage to the glass. The unit should not
be transported sideways. The unit should not be placed in an outdoor area, do not let the
unit be in contact with direct sunshine and rain. It should be put in storage which has good
ventilation and has no corrosive gases present.
