The Harmony P3 oers ulmate exibility for home and
building automaon control.
The Harmony P3 communicates with ZigBee devices
on the Home Automaon (HA) prole, WiFi devices, as
well as INSTEON and X10 devices when connected to an
EZIComm PLM.
Control and monitor your home automaon
network from any computer connected to the local
network or the Internet.

The Harmony SE must be installed indoors
Register
Register the device with your electric utility using the included
installation code and the instructions provided by the utility.
Each code is unique to a particular device, so please ensure the
provided numbers are entered correctly.
Connect network cable to Ethernet port and Internet router
Connect power supply
Point antenna upwards

Screw antenna (included) onto antenna port and point upward
Connect Ethernet cable (included) between Ethernet port and live
router
Connect power cable (included) to power port and plug in to 120V AC
Oponal: If using an EZIComm for INSTEON or X10 communicaon,
connect the EZIComm to a USB port. You’ll need a USB to serial adaptor.

iSmartenit Application Interface Basics
Adding devices

Click on the Default Area icon to
open devices menu for this area.
Other Areas can be added here by
clicking the “+” icon. Areas can
be used to organize devices into
sub-categories.
Click on the “New Gateway”
device to get to the gateway
conguraons.
Click on the Opons (Pencil) icon
and then click the “Sengs”
buon.
From here, you’ll simply need to click
on the “Start Network” buon to
enable device installaon.
If you are ready to start adding
devices, click on the “Start Discovery”
buon to discover devices for up to
250 seconds.
Click on the “Back” buon a couple
mes to get back to the Devices Menu
of the Default Area.
Step 4
While in the Device Menu of the
Default Area, more smart devices
can be added by clicking on the
“+” icon and choosing one of the
two methods.
Add a device manually: This opon
allows adding X10, IP cameras and
thermostats, as well as known ID
INSTEON devices.
Discover devices: This opon allows
auto discover for ZigBee and INSTEON
devices.
Adding a Wizard

Wizards are macros that can
be set to automacally control
devices on your network based
on me or the state of other
devices.
Click on the Wizards buon to
get to the Wizards menu.
Once in the Wizards menu, click
the “+” icon to add a new Wizard.
The next screen will allow you
give the Wizard a name and add
condions and eects.
Click on the “+” icon under the “When”
secon to add a condion for when the
Wizard will trigger a desired acon.
The “When” can be set up to trigger
based on me of day, day of week, status
of another device, or all of the above.
Click the disk icon to save when nished.
Step 4
Click on the “+” icon under the “Do
this” secon to add an eect that
will be triggered when the “When”
condion is met.
Select a device and the acon to
take place when the condion is
met.
Click the disk icon to save when
nished.
