Smartparts Introduces New Multipurpose Digital Picture Frame
New SP6CR Displays Digital Pictures & Videos and Features Built-In Clock Radio
Totowa, NJ (May XX, 2008) –Smartparts, Inc., a leading manufacturer and innovator
driving the explosive digital picture frame market, today introduced the SP6CR – an
advanced digital picture frame that also doubles as a clock radio.
Featuring a sleek, glossy black finish, the SP6CR gives consumers the ability to view
their digital images and video on a six inch widescreen LCD featuring a resolution of
520x288. At the same time, the LCD can also display a clock and users can even listen
to their favorite radio stations through the frame’s integrated speakers. The SP6CR also
offers a variety of other useful features including a calendar to help organize one’s
day-to-day schedule and an alarm clock allowing the user to wake up to his or her most
memorable moments.
“When designing the SP6CR our engineers were challenged to develop a digital
imaging solution that consumers could easily incorporate into their lifestyles,” said
Stefan Guelpen, president and co-founder of Smartparts. “Serving multiple needs, the
SP6CR’s versatility makes it the perfect digital picture frame for any room of the house.”
The SP6CR features a three-in-one card slot that accepts SD, MS, or MMC memory
cards, as well as a USB port to effortlessly transfer one’s digital images to the frame’s
128MB of internal memory. By utilizing Smartparts’ OptiPix software to resize their
digital images to match the resolution of the LCD screen, users can store up to 2,000
photos directly on the SP6CR.
The six inch SP6CR will retail for $XXX.XX and will be available through Smartpart’s
