OVERVIEW
The SMC8014-TES Transparent Ethernet Service Cable Modem Gateway allows MSOs the opportunity to
offer “Ethernet over DOCSIS” services to the SMB market at price points well below competitive solutions
from incumbent providers. The SMC8014-TES is a standards based solution giving operators needed flex-
ibility to support multi-vendor L2TPv3 compliant enterprise concentrators.
