SMC introduces the latest gigabit to the desktop
products, EZ Switch 10/100/1000 – GS16 and GS24.
These switches provide gigabit Ethernet connectivity
from the network backbone all the way to the edge of the
network and to individual desktops.
Up to 10 times the speed of 100Mbit networks, these
switches reduces transfer times of large data files or
bandwidth intensive applications and enhancing overall
network significantly, making these switches worthy
investment in the long run.
The SMC EZ Switches are easy to install and an ideal
solution for network migration, as they are equipped with
10/100/1000 auto-MDIX ports. Not only is each port
tri-speed, all ports can be either connected to a workstation
or another switch.
Providing non-blocking wire-speed throughput, the EZ
Switches can handle the growing performance needs in
imaging, animation, CAD, film production and many more
current and emerging application. They deliver scalable
solutions for increased performance and productivity.
