Before using this appliance, the following basic precautions should always be followed including the following:
1. Read all instructions.
2. Close supervision is necessary when the appliance is operated near children. Do not allow children to use
this appliance.
3. Do not operate any appliance after the appliance malfunctions, or is dropped or damaged in any manner.
Return appliance to the nearest authorized service facility for examination and/or repair.
4. Before use, please check if the appliance or any other part is damaged. If any of the parts are damaged,
stop using the appliance. Do not try to repair it yourself.
5. Prior to using the device, always check to ensure that all parts are properly assembled.
6. The use of accessories not recommended by the manufacturer may cause injuries to persons.
7. This appliance is intended for carbonation of water only. Do NOT use any other liquids.
8. Do not operate the appliance for other than its intended use.
9. Never transport the cartridges while inserted in the appliance - the cylinder and the appliance must always
be transported separately.
10. The appliance should not be operated in ambient temperatures lower than 41°F (5°C), this is to prevent the
freezing of the water and internal mechanism of the appliance.
11. In case of appliance freezing, DO NOT CONTINUE TO OPERATE. This could result in appliance malfunction,
damage, or potential injury to user.
12. In case of freezing, place the appliance in an area of at least 60°F (15°C) and allow the temperature of
the appliance and the water inside to slowly rise to that level.
13. DO NOT heat machine by placing it on a stove or any heat source.
- The appliance for carbonating tap water has been designed to be used with the CO2cartridges specifically
designed for this appliance.
- Always store the cartridges in a cool place. Do not expose to high temperatures above 120°C (50°C), such
as direct sunlight, heat sources such as stoves or heaters, etc.
- If the CO2cartridge is colder than room temperature, it must be gradually brought up to room temperature.
DO NOT place it on a heat source to speed up the process.
- If the CO2 cartridge is warmer than room temperature, let it gradually cool down to room temperature.
DO NOT PLACE IT IN THE FREEZER.
- If the CO2cartridge becomes frozen, avoid any contact with skin to avoid the risk of freeze burn.
- Do not remove the CO2cartridge during the carbonation process. The empty cartridges can be removed
after use by opening the empty cartridge container at the back of the machine.
