Bestimmungsgemäßer
Gebrauch
• Dieser Wassersprudler dient dazu,
Trinkwasser mit Kohlensäure anzurei-
chern. Das Gerät darf nur mit reinem
Wasser ohne Zusätze (z.B. Sirups
und Brausetabletten) und nicht mit an-
deren Getränken bzw. sonstigen Flüs-
sigkeiten verwendet werden.
• Das Gerät ist für den Privatgebrauch,
nicht für eine gewerbliche Nutzung ge-
eignet.
• Das Gerät nur für den angegebenen
Zweck und nur wie in der Gebrauchs-
anleitung beschrieben nutzen. Jede
weitere Verwendung gilt als bestim-
mungswidrig.
• Von der Gewährleistung ausgeschlos-
sen sind alle Mängel, die durch un-
sachgemäße Behandlung, Nichtbe-
achtung dieser Gebrauchsanleitung,
Beschädigung oder Reparaturversu-
che entstehen. Dies gilt auch für den
normalen Verschleiß.

zierten physischen, sensorischen oder
mentalen Fähigkeiten oder Mangel an
Erfahrung und / oder Wissen benutzt
werden, wenn sie beaufsichtigt oder
bezüglich des sicheren Gebrauchs
des Gerätes unterwiesen wurden und
die daraus resultierenden Gefahren
verstanden haben.
■Kinder dürfen nicht mit dem Gerät
spielen.
■Reinigung und Benutzerwartung dür-
fen nicht durch Kinder durchgeführt
werden.
■Kinder jünger als 8 Jahre und Tiere
sind vom Gerät fernzuhalten.
■Nur Original-CO2-Zylinder, -Wasserfla-
schen und sonstige Zubehörteile des
Herstellers verwenden. Bei Benutzung

■Das Gerät nicht transportieren, wenn
der CO2-Zylinder eingesetzt ist. Gerät
und CO2-Zylinder müssen immer ge-
trennt voneinander transportiert wer-
den.
■Das Gerät und alle Zubehörteile regel-
mäßig auf Beschädigungen überprü-
fen. Sollte ein Schaden des Gerätes
(z.B. Risse im Gehäuse), CO2-Zylin-
ders (z.B. Dellen im CO2-Zylinder)
oder der Wasserflasche bemerkt wer-
den oder im Falle einer Störung, unbe-
dingt an den Kundenservice wenden.
Das Gerät darf bis zur Instandsetzung
nicht benutzt werden, da dies zu einer
Fehlfunktion des Gerätes führen und
die Verletzungsgefahr erhöhen kann.
■Keine Veränderungen am Gerät, CO2-
Zylinder, an der Wasserflasche oder
dem übrigen Zubehör vornehmen.
Niemals versuchen, Teile des Systems
selbst zu reparieren, um Gefährdun-
gen zu vermeiden! Reparaturen dürfen
nur vom autorisierten Kundendienst
durchgeführt werden, ansonsten erlö-
schen jegliche Gewährleistungs- und
Garantieansprüche.
■Das Gerät und Zubehör an einem küh-
len Ort (aber nicht unter 1°C) aufbe-
wahren und nicht Temperaturen über
40°C (CO2-Zylinder bis 50°C, Glasfla-
sche bis 85°C) aussetzen. Von Feuer,
Wärmequellen (z.B. Herdplatten oder
Öfen) und direkter Sonneneinstrahlung
fernhalten.
■Das Gerät und Zubehör keinen starken
Temperaturschwankungen, anhalten-
der Feuchtigkeit und Stößen ausset-
zen.
■Das Gerät immer auf einen ebenen,
stabilen und wasserunempfindlichen
Untergrund stellen.
■Das Gerät muss während des Ge-
brauchs aufrecht stehen.
■Das Gerät darf nur mit eingesetzter
und mit Wasser gefüllter Wasserfla-
sche betätigt werden.
■Das Gerät während des Gebrauchs
nicht bewegen.
■Niemals schwere Gegenstände auf
das Gerät oder Zubehör stellen.
■Reinigungshinweise im Kapitel „Reini-
gen und aufbewahren“ beachten!
■Die Lebensdauer des Gerätes ist nicht
unbegrenzt, da es bewegliche Teile
enthält und unter hohem Druck arbei-
tet. Sofern es keine offensichtlichen
Mängel aufweist, wird empfohlen, das
Gerät spätestens alle 7 Jahre ab dem
Kaufdatum zu ersetzen. Wird dies
nicht beachtet, können sicherheits-
und gesundheitsgefährdende Risiken
entstehen.

Konzentrationen erstickend.
WARNUNG – Erstickungs-
gefahr!
Aus einem beschädigten CO2-Zy-
linder kann Kohlendioxid entwei-
chen. Dies kann in schlecht be-
lüfteten Räumen zur Erstickung
führen. Bei Schwindelgefühl oder
Übelkeit den Raum, in dem sich
das Gerät befindet, gründlich lüf-
ten. Ins Freie gehen, frische Luft
atmen und ggf. einen Arzt aufsu-
chen.

VORSICHT – Kältebrand!
Einen CO2-Zylinder, aus dem Gas
entweicht, nicht anfassen (da er
sehr kalt sein könnte), im Gerät
lassen und an einem gut belüfte-
ten Ort oder im Freien ca. einen
Tag lang entleeren lassen. Den
Kundenservice kontaktieren. Bei
Vereisung des CO2-Zylinders
jeglichen Körperkontakt ver-
meiden und den CO2-Zylinder
nicht verwenden!
■Die Aufschriften auf dem CO2-Zylinder
beachten!
■Der CO2-Zylinder darf nicht in Kinder-
hände gelangen!
■Wiederbefüllung und Wartung des CO2-
Zylinders darf nur durch autorisierte
Fachbetriebe erfolgen. Weitere Infor-
mationen unter www.sodatrend.de
■Niemals den CO2-Zylinder während
des Betriebes aus dem Gerät heraus-
nehmen.
■Den CO2-Zylinder an einem kühlen Ort
aufbewahren. Niemals Temperaturen
über 50°C aussetzen. Von direkter
Sonneneinstrahlung fernhalten.
■Der CO2-Zylinder muss vor dem Ge-
brauch/Einsetzen in das Gerät Raum-
temperatur haben. Sollte das nicht
der Fall sein, den CO2-Zylinder zuerst
langsam abkühlen (nicht in den Kühl-
schrank stellen!) bzw. erwärmen (nicht
auf eine Hitzequelle stellen!) lassen.
■Den CO2-Zylinder nicht beschädigen
oder verbrennen.
Wasserflasche
■Die Wasserflasche nicht einfrieren
oder mit heißen Flüssigkeiten füllen.
Dies könnte zu Sprüngen in der Was-
serflasche führen, die das Zerplatzen
der Wasserflasche während der Kar-
bonisierung zur Folge haben können.
■Das auf der PET-Flasche abgedruck-
te Verwendbarkeitsdatum beachten.
Nach Ablauf des Verwendbarkeitsda-
tums muss die Flasche ausgetauscht
werden. Weitere Informationen unter

■Die PET-Flasche und die Verschlüsse
niemals in der Geschirrspülmaschine
reinigen.
■Niemals versuchen, eine leere Fla-
sche mit CO2 zu füllen.
■Beim Befüllen die Markierungslinie der
Wasserflasche nicht überschreiten.
■Wenn die gefüllte Wasserflasche be-
wegt wird, kann aufgrund der Kohlen-
säure Überdruck entstehen. Daher
die Wasserflasche immer langsam
und vorsichtig öffnen, damit der Druck
kontrolliert entweichen kann. Den Fla-
schenhals dabei vom Körper abge-
wandt halten.
■Nicht direkt aus der Flasche trinken,
um Verkeimung zu vermeiden.

Kinder und Tiere vom Verpackungs-
material fernhalten.
1. Das Gerät und Zubehör aus der Verpa-
ckung nehmen. Den Lieferumfang auf
Transportschäden überprüfen. Falls er
Schäden aufweisen sollte, nicht(!) ver-
wenden, sondern den Kundenservice
kontaktieren.
2. Eventuell vorhandene Transportsiche-
rungen entfernen.
3. Den CO2-Zylinder in das Gerät einset-
zen (siehe „CO2-Zylinder einsetzen“).

4. Die Wasserflasche gründlich reinigen
(siehe „Reinigen und aufbewahren“).

CO2-Zylinder einsetzen
BEACHTEN!
■VORSICHT – Kältebrand! Der CO2-
Zylinder kann nach dem Gebrauch
sehr kalt sein. Nach dem letzten Spru-
deln ca. 10 Minuten warten, bevor er
gewechselt wird.
■Beim Einsetzen oder Herausnehmen
des CO2-Zylinders darf die Wasserfla-
sche nicht im Gerät eingesetzt sein.
■Keine Werkzeuge verwenden!

1. Das Gerät auf eine ebene und stabile
Fläche stellen.
2. Die Schutzfolie vom CO2-Zylinderkopf
abziehen und die Schutzkappe ab-
schrauben. Die Schutzkappe aufbe-
wahren und später auf den entleerten
Zylinder wieder aufschrauben. Den
Adapter handfest auf den CO2-Zylin-
derkopf schrauben.
3. Auf der Geräterückseite die Entriege-
lungstaste mit einer Hand nach unten
drücken und die Rückabdeckung mit
der anderen Hand vom Gerät weg-
klappen, dann abnehmen.
4. Vor dem ersten Gebrauch die Trans-
portsicherung aus dem Zylinderhalter
entfernen: Den Hebel am Zylinder-
halter bis zum Anschlag nach oben
drücken, die Transportsicherung fällt
heraus.
5. Den CO2-Zylinder zuerst unten in die
Öffnung im Geräteboden stellen, dann
das Gerät etwas nach vorne neigen.
6. Den Hebel am Zylinderhalter nach
oben drücken, den CO2-Zylinder mit
Adapter bis zum Anschlag in den
Zylinderhalter stecken, ggf. etwas dre-
hen, bis er einrastet.

7. Den Hebel wieder loslassen. Den CO2-
Zylinder auf festen Sitz überprüfen. Er
muss im Gerät hängen.
8. Die Rückabdeckung zuerst mit der
breiteren Seite unten in den Geräte-
boden einsetzen (ihre Rastnase in
die Öffnung im Geräteboden stecken)
und dann vorsichtig zuklappen. Darauf
achten, dass die Rückabdeckung nicht
verkantet.
Wir empfehlen, sich mindestens
einen Ersatz-CO2-Zylinder zuzule-
gen, um jederzeit Sprudelwasser
herstellen zu können. Weitere In-

Sprudeln
BEACHTEN!
■VORSICHT – Verletzungsgefahr!
Bei der Bedienung des Gerätes nie-
mals den Kopf (das Gesicht) vor das
Gerät halten. Die Wasserflasche steht
unter Druck.
■Die Wasserflasche vor jeder Benut-
zung auf Schäden, auch feine Haar-
risse, untersuchen. Keine Wasserfla-
schen verwenden, die Risse haben,
verformt, verfärbt, gesprungen oder
verkratzt sind, bzw. deren Verwendbar-
keitsdatum überschritten ist.
■Die Wasserflasche und den Verschluss
regelmäßig spülen, um Verunreinigun-
gen zu vermeiden (siehe „Reinigen und
aufbewahren“).
■Nur reines Trinkwasser, ohne Zusätze
wie Sirup oder Aromastoffe, aufspru-
deln, damit die Leitungen nicht verkle-
ben und der Flascheninhalt nicht über-
schäumt! Sirup o.Ä. erst nach dem
Sprudeln hinzufügen. Möglichst im
separaten Glas oder Gefäß mischen.
■Die Wasserflasche muss bis zur Mar-
kierungslinie mit Wasser befüllt und im
Gerät fest eingeschraubt sein!
■Beim Einsetzen der Wasserflasche
darauf achten, dass die Düse nicht
verbogen oder beschädigt wird.
■Niemals Brausepulver oder -tabletten
in das Sprudelwasser geben, da die-
se mit der Kohlensäure reagieren und
zum Überschäumen führen können!
Kaltes Wasser nimmt Kohlensäure
besser auf. Daher empfehlen wir,
eine Flasche mit Trinkwasser im
Kühlschrank vorrätig zu halten.
Trinkwasser sollte nur für den ak-
tuellen Bedarf aufgesprudelt und
innerhalb von 1 bis 2 Tagen ver-
braucht werden.

1. Das Gerät auf einen ebenen, stabilen
und wasserunempfindlichen Unter-
grund stellen. Die Auffangschale muss
eingesetzt sein.
2. Die Wasserflasche bis zur Markie-
rungslinie mit kaltem Trinkwasser fül-
len. Nicht überfüllen!
3. Die Wasserflasche über die Düse füh-
ren, nach oben in den Flaschenhalter
drücken und ein Stück gegen den Uhr-
zeigersinn drehen, bis sie einrastet.
4. Die Tür bis zum Anschlag zuschieben,
ansonsten ist aus Sicherheitsgründen
kein Sprudeln möglich.
5. Zum Sprudeln die Auslösetaste ca. 2
bis 4 Sekunden lang durchgedrückt
halten. Nicht zu kurz drücken! Wenn
ein lautes Zischen zu hören ist, loslas-
sen.
6. Für mehr Kohlensäure wiederholen.
Nicht zu schnell hintereinander
drücken, da sonst Wasser austreten
könnte.
7. Die Tür öffnen, die Flasche im Uhrzei-
gersinn drehen und entnehmen.

8. Den Verschluss auf die Flasche
schrauben oder das Sprudelwasser
gleich in ein Glas gießen und trinken.
Das frische Sprudelwasser kann
man pur genießen oder nach Be-
lieben mit Sirup, Softdrink-Aroma,
Orangenscheiben, Limettenstück-
chen etc. abschmecken.
Beim Hinzufügen von Sirup das
Gefäß leicht neigen, damit es nicht
zum Überschäumen kommt.
Reinigen und aufbewahren
BEACHTEN!
■Das Gerät und Zubehör, mit Ausnah-
me der Glasflasche, sind nicht spül-
maschinengeeignet!
■Das Gerät nie in Wasser bzw. andere
Flüssigkeiten eintauchen oder unter
fließendem Wasser abspülen.
■Zum Reinigen keine ätzenden oder
scheuernden Reinigungsmittel bzw.
raue Bürsten verwenden. Diese kön-
nen die Oberflächen beschädigen.
• Die Wasserflasche und den Schraub-
verschluss mit warmem Wasser und
ggf. Spülmittel auswaschen. Die Glas-
flasche (ohne Verschluss!) kann auch
in der Geschirrspülmaschine gereinigt
werden.
• Wird eine Flasche nicht gleich wieder
befüllt, mit offenem Deckel lagern, da-
mit sie innen trocknen kann.
• Befindet sich Wasser in der Auffang-
schale, diese aus dem Gerät heraus-
nehmen und entleeren.
• Das Gerät bei Bedarf mit einem wei-
chen, feuchten Tuch abwischen.
• Alle Teile gründlich abtrocknen. Die
Auffangschale nach dem Abtrocknen
in die passende Aussparung im Ge-
räteboden einlegen.
• Das Gerät an einem trockenen, vor
Sonne geschützten sowie für Kinder
und Tiere unzugänglichen Ort bei
Raumtemperatur aufbewahren.
CO2-Zylinder tauschen
Wenn die Sprudelstärke deutlich nach-
lässt, ist der CO2-Zylinder leer und muss
ausgewechselt werden (siehe „CO2-Zylin-
der einsetzen“).
Ausschließlich bauartgleiche CO2-Zylin-
der verwenden!
Beim Zurückgeben eines leeren CO
2
-Zylin-
ders bei einem zugelassenen SodaTrend-
Händler bekommen Sie im Austausch einen
vollen für den Preis einer Gasnachfüllung.

Was ist, wenn...?
Sollte das Gerät nicht ordnungsgemäß
funktionieren, überprüfen, ob ein Prob-
lem selbst behoben werden kann. Lässt
sich mit den nachfolgenden Schritten das
Problem nicht lösen, den Kundenservice
kontaktieren.
Nicht versuchen ein defektes Ge-
rät eigenständig zu reparieren!
Beim Sprudeln läuft Wasser aus der
Wasserflasche aus.
Die Auslösetaste wurde zu kurz oder zu
schnell hintereinander gedrückt.
►Die Auslösetaste ca. 2 bis 4 Sekun-
den lang durchgedrückt halten und
vor erneutem Drücken eine längere
Pause machen.
Die Wasserflasche ist zu voll.
►Überschüssiges Wasser abgießen.

Beim Sprudeln zischt es hinten aus
dem Gerät.
Der Adapter am CO2-Zylinder ist nicht
festgezogen.
►Den Adapter festdrehen.
Der Dichtungsring im Adapter fehlt.
►Den Adapter ersetzen.
Das CO2-Zylinderventil schließt nicht.
►Die Auslösetaste 1 bis 2 x betätigen,
damit das Ventil schließen kann. Soll-
te das Problem weiterhin bestehen,
den CO2-Zylinder im Gerät an einem
gut belüfteten Ort oder im Freien
selbst entleeren lassen. Den Kunden-
service kontaktieren.
Sprudelstärke ist vergleichbar
schwach oder gar kein Sprudeln.
Die Tür ist nicht richtig geschlossen.
►Aus Sicherheitsgründen ist Sprudeln
nur bei völlig geschlossener Tür mög-
lich. Die Tür bis zum Anschlag schlie-
ßen.
Der CO2-Zylinder ist leer.
►Den CO2-Zylinder auswechseln.
Der CO2-Zylinder ist (z. B. durch den
Transport im Winter) zu kalt.
►Den CO2-Zylinder bei Raumtempera-
tur langsam erwärmen lassen.
Das Wasser ist zu warm.
►Kaltes Wasser in die Wasserflasche
füllen.
Zu wenig Wasser in der Wasserflasche.
►Die Wasserflasche bis zur Markie-
rungslinie füllen.

■Check the device and all accessories
for damage on a regular basis. If you
notice any damage to the device (e.g.
cracks in the housing), CO2cylinder
(e.g. dents in the CO2cylinder) or the
water bottle, or in the event of a fault,
you must contact the customer service
department. The device must not be
used until it has been repaired as this
may result in a malfunction of the de-
vice and can increase the risk of injury.
■Do not make any modifications to the
device, CO2cylinder, water bottle or
the other accessories. Never attempt
to repair parts of the system yourself to
avoid any hazards! Repairs may only
be carried out by the authorised cus-
tomer service department, otherwise
all warranty and guarantee claims
shall be void.
■Store the device and accessories in a
cool place (but not below 1°C) and do
not expose to temperatures of more
than 40°C (CO2cylinder up to 50°C,
glass bottle up to 85°C). Keep away
from fire, heat sources (e.g. hobs or
ovens) and direct sunlight.
■Do not expose the device and acces-
sories to strong temperature fluctua-
tions, persistent moisture or collisions.
■Always place the device on a level,
stable and water-resistant surface.
■The device must be upright during use.
■The device may only be operated with
the water bottle inserted and filled with
water.
■Do not move the device during use.
■Never place heavy objects on the de-
vice or accessories.
■Note the cleaning instructions in the
“Cleaning and Storage” chapter!
■The device does not have an unlimit-
ed lifespan as it contains moving parts
and operates under high pressure.
Unless it has obvious defects, it is rec-
ommended that the device should be
replaced no later than 7 years after the
purchase date. If this is not done, risks
that pose a hazard to health and safety
may arise.
CO2Cylinder

cating in high concentrations.
WARNING – Danger of Suffo-
cation!
Carbon dioxide may escape from
a damaged CO2cylinder. This
can lead to suffocation in rooms
with poor ventilation. If you feel
dizzy or sick, ventilate the room
in which the device is located
with plenty of air. Go outside,
breathe fresh air and visit a doc-
tor if necessary.
CAUTION – Cold Burns!
Do not touch the CO2cylinder
when gas is escaping (as it might
be very cold), leave it in the de-
vice and allow it to empty in a
well-ventilated place or outdoors
for around a day. Contact our
customer service department.
If the CO2cylinder is iced up,
avoid any body contact and do
not use the CO2cylinder!
■Follow the labels on the CO2cylinder!
■The CO2cylinder must not get into the
hands of children!

■Refilling and servicing of the CO2cyl-
inder may only be done by authorised
specialist companies. Further informa-

■Never pull the CO2cylinder out of the
device during operation.
■Store the CO2cylinder in a cool place.
Never expose it to temperatures of
above 50°C. Keep it away from direct
sunlight.
■The CO2cylinder must be at room tem-
perature before it is used/inserted into
the device. If this is not the case, first
allow the CO2cylinder to cool down
slowly (do not place it in the fridge!)
or heat up slowly (do not place it on a
heat source!).
■Do not damage it or burn the CO2cyl-
inder.
Water Bottle
■Do not freeze or fill the water bottle with
hot liquids. This could cause cracking
in the water bottle which could result
in the water bottle bursting during the
carbonisation process.
■Note the use-by date printed on the
PET bottle. After the use-by date has
expired, the bottle must be replaced.

■Never clean the PET bottle and the
caps in the dishwasher.
■Never attempt to fill an empty bottle
with CO2.
■When filling, do not exceed the line
marked on the water bottle.
■When the filled water bottle is moved,
the carbonic acid may cause an excess
pressure to be created. You should
therefore always open the water bottle
slowly and carefully so that the pres-
sure can escape in a controlled man-
ner. When you do this, hold the neck of
the bottle away from your body.
■Do not drink directly from the bottle to
prevent contamination.

Before Initial Use
PLEASE NOTE!
■WARNING – Danger of Suffocation!
Keep children and animals away from
the packaging material.
1. Remove the device and accessories
from the packaging. Check the items
supplied for any transport damage. If
you find any damage to them, do not
use them (!), but contact our customer
service department.
2. Remove any possible transport re-
straints.
3. Insert the CO2cylinder into the device
(see “Inserting the CO2Cylinder”).
4. Thoroughly clean the water bottle (see
"Cleaning and Storage").
Inserting the CO2Cylinder
PLEASE NOTE!
■CAUTION – Cold Burns! The CO2
cylinder may be very cold after use.
After the last bubbling, wait for around
10 minutes before replacing it.
■The water bottle must not be inserted
in the device when the CO2cylinder is
inserted or removed.
■Do not use any tools!

1. Place the device on a flat and stable
surface.
2. Peel the protective film off the CO2
cylinder head and unscrew the protec-
tive cap. Keep the protective cap and
screw it back onto the emptied cylinder
later on.
3. Screw the adapter hand-tight onto the
CO2cylinder head.
4. On the back of the device, press down
the release button with one hand and
use your other hand to flip the back
cover away from the device, then re-
move it.
5. Before initial use, remove the trans-
port restraint from the cylinder holder:
Press the ring-shaped lever on the cyl-
inder holder up as far as it will go; the
transport restraint will drop out.
6. First place the CO2cylinder into the
opening in the bottom of the device,
then tilt the device forwards slightly.
7. Press the lever on the cylinder holder
upwards, press the CO2cylinder with
adapter as far as it will go into the cyl-
inder holder, twist it slightly if neces-
sary until it engages.
8. Let go of the lever again. Check that
the CO2cylinder fits securely. It must
hang in the device.
9. Insert the back cover with the wider
side first into the bottom of the device
(plug its locking lug into the opening
in the bottom of the device) and then
flip it shut carefully. Make sure that the
back cover is not twisted.
We recommend that you get at
least one spare CO2cylinder so
that you can produce sparkling wa-
ter at any time. Further information

Bubbling
PLEASE NOTE!
■CAUTION – Danger of Injury! When
operating the device, never place your
head (face) in front of the device. The
water bottle is pressurised.
■Examine the water bottle for any dam-
age, including fine hairline cracks,
before each use. Do not use any wa-
ter bottles which have cracks, are
deformed, discoloured, broken or
scratched, or whose use-by date has
passed.
■Rinse the water bottle and the cap reg-
ularly to avoid any contamination (see
“Cleaning and Storage”).
■Only bubble up pure drinking water
without any additives such as syrup or
flavourings so that the lines do not be-
come clogged and the bottle contents
do not foam up! Only add syrup or
similar additives after the bubbling is
complete. If possible, mix in a separate
glass or vessel.
■The water bottle must be filled up to
the marked line with water and secure-
ly screwed in the device!
■When inserting the water bottle, make
sure that the nozzle is not bent or dam-
aged.
■Do not add fizzy powder or fizzy tab-
lets to the sparkling water, since they
react with the carbonic acid and can
lead to the excessive foaming!
Cold water is better at absorbing
carbonic acid. We therefore recom-
mend keeping a bottle containing
drinking water in the fridge.
Drinking water should only be bub-
bled up to meet your current needs
and consumed within 1 to 2 days.

1. Place the device on a flat, stable and
water-resistant surface. The drip tray
must be inserted.
2. Fill the water bottle up to the line which
is marked on it with cold drinking wa-
ter. Do not overfill it!
3. Put the water bottle over the nozzle,
press it upwards into the bottle holder
and turn it a little anticlockwise until it
locks in place.
4. Slide the door shut as far as it will go,
otherwise bubbling is not possible for
safety reasons.
5. To add bubbles to the water, keep the
trigger button held down for approx. 2
to 4 seconds. Do not press for too
short a time! Let go of the button
when you hear a loud hiss.
6. Repeat for more carbonic acid. Do not
press too quickly in succession as
otherwise water could escape.
7. Open the door, turn the bottle clock-
wise and remove.
8. Screw the cap onto the bottle or pour
the sparkling water straight into a glass
and enjoy.
The fresh sparkling water can be
enjoyed as it is or be flavoured with
syrup, soft drink flavouring, slices
of orange, small pieces of lime etc.

When you add syrup, tilt the vessel
slightly so that there is not exces-
sive foaming.

Cleaning and Storage
PLEASE NOTE!
■The device and the accessories, with
the exception of the glass bottle, are
not dishwasher-safe!
■Never immerse the device in water or
other liquids or rinse it under running
water.
■Do not use any corrosive or abrasive
cleaning agents or rough brushes to
clean the device. These could damage
the surfaces.
• Wash out the water bottle and the
screw cap with warm water and de-
tergent if necessary. The glass bottle
(without cap!) can also be cleaned in
the dishwasher.
• If a bottle is not filled again straight
away, store it with the lid open so that
it can dry on the inside.
• If there is water in the drip tray, remove
it from the device and empty it.
• Wipe down the device with a soft,
damp cloth if necessary.
• Dry all parts thoroughly. Insert the
dried drip tray into the appropriate re-
cess in the bottom of the device.
• Store the device in a dry place that
is protected from sunlight and is not
accessible to children and animals at
room temperature.
Exchanging the CO2
Cylinder
If the strength of the bubbles diminishes
considerably, the CO2cylinder is empty
and must be replaced (see “Inserting the
CO2 Cylinder”).
Only ever use CO2cylinders of the same
type!
When you return an empty CO2cylinder
to an approved SodaTrend retailer, you
will receive a full one to replace it, paying
only the cost of a gas refill. A list of the
SodaTrend exchange points can be found
at www.sodatrend.de.
What About If...?
If the device does not work properly, first
check whether you are able to rectify the
problem yourself. If the problem cannot be
solved with the steps that are listed below,
contact the customer service department.
Do not attempt to repair a defec-
tive device yourself!
During the bubbling process, water
escapes from the water bottle.
The trigger button has not been pressed
for long enough or has been pressed too
quickly in succession.
►Keep the trigger button pressed down
for approx. 2 to 4 seconds and wait
longer before pressing it again.
The water bottle is too full.
►Pour away excess water.

During the bubbling process, there is
a hiss from the back of the device.
The adapter on the CO2cylinder is not
firmly tightened.
►Tighten the adapter.
The sealing ring in the adapter is missing.
►Replace the adapter.
The CO2cylinder valve does not close.
►Press the trigger button 1 to 2 times
so that the valve can close. If the
problem persists, allow the CO2cyl-
inder in the device to empty itself in
a well-ventilated place or outdoors.
Contact our customer service depart-
ment.
The strength of the bubbles is com-
paratively weak or there are no bub-
bles at all.
The door is not closed correctly.
►For safety reasons, bubbles can only
be produced when the door is fully
closed. Close the door as far as it will
go.
The CO2cylinder is empty.
►Replace the CO2cylinder.
The CO2cylinder is too cold (e.g. owing to
transport in winter).
►Allow the CO2cylinder to warm up
slowly at room temperature.
The water is too warm.
►Pour cold water into the water bottle.
Not enough water in the water bottle.
►Fill the water bottle up to the line
which is marked on it.
