T e Soe nle Professional 2750 displays are designed for weig ing patients. T ese displays are
intended for environments subject to calibration regulations. T ey comply wit EC Directives
2004/108/EC, 2006/95/EC, 2009/23/EC, 2007/47/EC and 93/42/EEC.

Read t e user manual carefully before using t e equipment for t e first time. It contains
important information concerning t e installation, correct use and maintenance of t e
equipment. T ere are no specific requirements for personnel – t e scales can be used
universally. T e scales are not designed to be used in critical environments (CT, defi-brillators).
T e displays cannot be used in potentially explosive areas. T e displays must be assembled so
t at t ey can be easily disconnected from underneat .

T e equipment is designed for use in buildings. T e equipment complies wit electromagnetic
compatibility requirements. Do not exceed t e maximum values specified in t e standards. If
you ave any problems, contact your Soe nle Professional service partner. Only 60601-1
approved medical equipment may be connected to t e interface.

T e device may be cleaned wit a damp clot and customary cleaning products. Do not use any
abrasive cleaning products. Disinfectants to be used: met ylated spirit; isopropanol; 2%
Ko rsolin; 1% aqueous Sokrena solution; 5% Sagrotan; 5% Gigasept. T e device and t e mains
supply must not be sprayed.

A metrological c eck as been performed by t e manufacturer. Recalibration must be carried
out in accordance wit national regulations. Repairs must only be carried out by a Soe nle
Professional aut orized centre using original parts.

In accordance wit European directive 2004/108/EC t is device is fitted wit noise suppression.
However, t e display reading can be affected by extreme electrostatic or electromagnetic
interference, e.g. using a radio or mobile p one in t e immediate vicinity of t e equipment.
Once t e interference stops, t e product may revert to normal operation. However, it may be
necessary to restart t e display. If t e fault persists, contact your dealer or t e Soe nle
Professional customer service department. T is device is a measuring instrument. Draft,
vibrations, rapid temperature c anges and direct exposure to sunlig t may affect t e weig ing
readings.
Avoid ig air umidity levels, steam, abrasive fluids and contamination.

T ese displays are subject to special precautionary measures in terms of EMC and must be
installed and started up in accordance wit t e EMC instructions in general. Portable and mobile
HF communications equipment can affect t e displays if broug t into close proximity.

If t e supplied goods contain a defect attributable to Soe nle Professional, Soe nle
Professional s all be entitled to rectify t e defect or provide a replacement. Replaced parts will
become t e property of Soe nle Professional. T e legal provisions apply if t e repair of t e
defect or t e delivery of t e replacement device s ould fail. T e warranty period extends for 2
years, starting on t e date of purc ase. Please keep your invoice as proof of purc ase. If your
device needs service, contact your dealer or t e Soe nle Professional Customer Service. Soe nle
Professional does not accept any liability for any damage resulting from t e following causes:
Unsuitable, improper storage or utilization, faulty assembly or startup by t e ordering person or
by a t ird party, natural wear and tear, modifications or c anges, faulty or negligent andling,
